I wish I was doing well, but things have been hard for me lately. Last year in October, I got myself a factory job on 3rd shift. At first it wasn't so bad, but then things kept getting worse and worse. The company had some bad management, some of the people on my line were very incompetent at their job with nothing being done about it, I had to cover three-five different parts of my line with some of them being physically demanding, and it was almost always 10-12 hours a night plus Saturday. Seven and a half months later, I am no longer with this company. Last night was my final night there. I gave them a one week notice last week. I couldn't stand what was going on in this company and it kept getting worse. I did not go to community college for this. The best part: had I stayed, this weekend would've been my first time working both weekend days. I get that the paycheck and benefits were nice, but at the same time, there's only so much a person can take when it comes to working at a place like that. It's time for me to look for work elsewhere and I'll begin that process Monday once I get some rest and back on a regular sleeping schedule again. Seriously, that job was incredibly stressful and I can't believe I held on for 7+ months. At least I'm doing better financially now and because of the benefits, I was able to get some dental work done on my teeth. Still got some work to get done on them, but I should be able to pay for that on my own.
