"The Codebook of Mata Hari" is gone for me today. This episode was bad, but not as bad as the other remaining season one episode. The only unbearable part for me is the Steps of Knowledge and the temple games. The temple run itself was one of those season one episodes where the player was caught one room away.

How much of the general concensus that "The Marble Armrest of Xerxes" is a terrible episode is linked to the knowledge that Levi on the Purple Parrots was Zac Turney's brother, really? I know the Temple Run sucked ass, but still... the Temple Games were close and did end in a tiebreaker, and the legend was interesting.  Had we never known he was Zac's brother, I'm wondering if this episode might not be considered so bad.

Getting rid of "The Lost Lion Tail of Little John". Its no doubt in my mind that this is the worst episode of season two. The only reason the Purple Parrots got into the temple because the Silver Snakes dropped their sign during the third temple game. The temple run itself was terrible, but at least Marie was decent in a way. They are better than season one contestants though.

It's amazing that Season 1 has the worst player, but John Henry's Lost Hammer had more progress in the Temple Run, and they had 2 pendants and were first in the Moat. (You know this shouldn't be in the Top 3, but Top 10)

I decide the winner, and it is "The Keys to the Alhambra". Sure, "The Golden Cricket Cage of Khan" is the worst temple run ever, but the rest of the episode was pretty good. Just the temple was bad. "The Keys to the Alhambra" however, was an unexciting episode the whole way through. Steve and Lisa only got to the temple because the Silver Snakes rang in incorrectly in the tiebreaker. Lisa'a poor performance in the temple just made it so painful to watch. Since were talking about worst episodes instead of the lone temple run, I consider "The Keys to the Alhambra" to be the worst episode ever. So....there ya go.

Glad it's decided.  I was too nervous to choose between the two.

But yeah, thinking about it some more, I agree.  I was debating having the Cricket Cage as last just because the Alhambra Temple Games did feature a tiebreaker and a comeback by the Jaguars in the third game (which was that "fling balls at your partner" game, which I do like), but yeah.  Since it was pure luck with the Jaguars whereas the Snakes in the Cricket Cage ep really did stage a true comeback, I agree.
