Creating a New "Child Board"?

I was reading through a lot of different threads from the Heart Room pertaining to different aspects of all of the episodes ("Where were the temple guards?" and "Where were the half pendants" just to name a few). I think it would be nice if we could create a child board within the Heart Room that had links to each episode, where we could compile all of the tidbits that are currently scattered around the Heart Room. It would also be nice to have this addition so that individual episodes could be talked about without creating an unnecessary sequence of threads, each pertaining to the same episode. It would also make discussion easier, since all of the information gathered about a particular episode would all be concentrated to that one area, rather than having to look through 20+ pages of threads of insight in order to bring together all of the aspects regarding that episode.

How does everyone else feel about this idea?

It would be a good idea, but I'm not sure about every topic being put into some category. We really need it for the "Rank the wins/temple guard captures/temple rooms" subjects. Since there's always some new "ranking" thread every other day.

I like that idea too. At least make a separate board for the "Rate the _______________" like we did with the tournament. The whole individual board for every episode would be interesting too, but I am not sure how that could be pulled off.

I don't mean placing the current topics and comments within those topics into categories; I mean that we could create a Child Board that takes inspiration from the set up on nicklegends' site, where there are subsequent links to separate seasons and episodes within those seasons. Within each episode's thread, we could then compile useful information regarding temple guard locations, pendant locations, odd occurrences within each episode, etc, that have been written in past Heart Room topics. It would make it easier to have all of the information from one episode all together in one location, rather than scattered throughout the many pages of Heart Room topics and threads.

I also like the suggestion that the "Rate/Rank the..." topics be placed into a Child Board.

Dang, you reminded me of our future tournament. Which, I cross my fingers hope it starts this week or next.

And with all the Rate the.... I think it'd be fair for it's own board. We've got a lot of them stuffed in the Heart Room. So PP4L came with a great idea.

I have been reading through the "Where were the temple guards?" thread from the Heart Room. A lot of progress was made in deducing where the unencountered guards were, but a few episodes were left incomplete. I would love to revive that thread, if people are interested. Also, would it be better to continue that topic in the already-started thread, or would it be better to start a new topic in the Heart Room so that the new information doesn't get lost in the previous 13 pages of notes and comments?

I don't see a problem with creating a new topic. More discussion is better and we can always use THK's topic as a reference. After all, we have 2-3 topics discussing half-pendant locations. Sometimes a new topic can help create new conversation.
