Post some of your made up words here! They don't have to have a meaning.

MY WORD:

Shmee (It doesn't have a meaning, I just say it)

Dohdecahedrons!

It a longer version of Homer Simpson's infamous Doh! I got the idea when I hear of the twelve sided figure known as "something much like my word".
Crazy, but that's how it goes.

You don't do nothing you don't wanna do
Be nothing phony about you
Keeping it real and do what you feel
You gotta eat
You gott eat Checkers!

I know I didn't make it up, but...meese.  I refuse to use "moose" as the plural.

Maybe, that might be how I thought of it, it's been a few years since I "made it up"

When using the word "smite", I tend to use words and phrases that are different, made up forms of the verb. Smittage is much better than smote, although the word smote is a cool word too.

I, one time, couldn't recall the word for McDonalds, so I blurted out McYaddles instead.

A similair situation birthed "swearums" to be used instead of "I am sorry".

I enjoy turning verbs, adjectives and stuff into nouns, and the same with nouns etc into verbs. Verbing weirds language. I got that from Calvin and Hobbes, but I still do it a lot.

I didn't make up methinks and whilst, but DAMN they're good words.

No need to censor, we're all mature here.

The irony, of course, is that we're all adults here talking about a kid's TV show.

Which leads to a new word: Retro + Irnoy = Retrirony

That's what I used to call my cousin when he was a baby!

My sister came up with the word "Smartzo" a few years ago. It's basically got the same meaning as calling someone a Bonehead. If you're called a smartzo, it's not a good thing. My sister started calling me that when I was playing a computer game and I kept making mistakes that caused me to lose points.

Here's the weird part; a few years ago, when the Jimmy Neutron movie came to theaters, Nick would air little previews all the time. In one of them, the character Cindy said her dog was a "Lhasa Smartzo." Talk about weird!

Shlepin.  It's another word for thesaurus.

Spread it to elementary schools nationwide.  When asked if they need to use a thesaurus, tell your children or younger friends to say "oh, you mean a shlepin?".  The word will eventually become engrained in US culture.

Rrrga
Ika-ika
(My friend made up these ones) Gooshka, Eenglay

Whatsywhosey
Whoseywhatsy
(My other friend came up with this one) Whosamabobbers

We went back and forth one day when I was as forgetfull as anything.  No matter what I forget, even if it's like a full sentence I'll fill in the blank with What's-its-face.  Then they said Whosamabobbers and before you know it? MADE-UP WORD FIGHT!
