We've had the "What are you listening to?" thread, so now it's time for the "What are you watching?" thread. A lot of people have encoded episodes downloaded onto their computer, but even if you're using the comp and watching TV at the same time, just post it here.
Right now, I'm watching the first episode of My Family's Got GUTS.
-
I'm watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire (Syndicated) on ABC-KGO 7 at 11:30 a.m.
-
Get the Picture - Sheletta & Wayne vs. Stephanie and Kelly (WTF? 2 girls names?)
-
Legends of the Hidden Temple - 1x03: Galileo's Cannonball
-
Shawn Michaels vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWF Championship at Wrestlemania 14, on one of my many wrestling and sports DVD's.
-
Watching and taking screencaps from Get the Picture - Justin and Olivia-Emma vs. Lindsay and Jeff
-
I'm watching a talking piece of cheese and a retarded talking starfish.
-
Finishing off GUTS - Robin vs. Jennifer vs. Bobby, and then maybe I'll watch some of my LOTHT DVDs.
-
An episode of "Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego?" on YouTube.
-
Nick @ Nite lineup. Right now, it's George Lopez. Bearable for me I guess, but the only thing on Nick @ Nite now that I can even come close to liking is Family Matters.
-
An episode of "Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego?" on YouTube.
Where in the World is so much better than Where in Time.
"Do it, Rockapella!"
-
the pilot of Yes Dear. He had to piss away 6 years for that.
-
The Milk Bucket of Freydis.
-
The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra, for my site.
-
Get the Picture - Lisa and Sam VS. Katie and Mike
For my site.
-
All That - 4x10 (The Backstreet Boys)
-
A show that has no relation to Nick's former or current programming.
-
I'm watching commercials on TV. I have no idea what's next on GSN.
-
The Temple Run for "The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror" on Youtube.
-
Forensic Heroes II-Episode 22
-
Transformers G1. "Heavy Metal War," the last episode of the first season.
-
Some crap.
I typed in "sdfygirdytf" on YouTube (exactly that) and clicked the first video.
-
A playthrough of a Mega Man 2 ROM hack.
-
Nick @ Nite lineup again.
-
Monday Night Raw.
-
The Temple Run to "The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen." Just showed it to a friend over MSN.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPZavew94u8 (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPZavew94u8)
Does this take you back? :3
Elec says:
Kid was having a moment. o.o
GOOOO GOOOOOO GOOOOO
Yes, nostalgia level is crazy
-
Entire episode of Metal Beard.
Reason? Randy.
-
An episode of GUTS which I'm too lazy to check for the full title.
-
I'm watching you Bamboo Forest, you lazy bastard!
-
lol
But now I'm watching the ORIGINAL commercial for Legends. Never seen it before.
-
Was there only one or more? Post the link.

But I always wonder, the date December 21, 2012, according to Mayans will be the last day on Earth, will there be a revival of Legends before we all die?
-
Ask Olmec. He was Mayan.
-
Wait, I thought this was the spam thread, but I am looking at what I'm typing.
-
But I always wonder, the date December 21, 2012, according to Mayans will be the last day on Earth, will there be a revival of Legends before we all die?
They'll revive the show on that date, and Olmec's mouth will open so wide it will swallow the whole universe.
-
Well damn! Kirk Fogg needs to get back in shape. Anyway, I'm watching the Levitating Dog Leash episode in order to think of some questions that I might want to ask. So does anyone want to discuss what questions we can ask? I'll be at the "Potential Interview" thread. I'll be watching this one over and over again on my computer for a while.
-
Just got done watching TBF's new video. X3
*Wants more, more, more!*
-
Duck Dodgers - "In Space, No One Can Hear You Rock"
-
I'm watching a network that is one-faced and tries to degrade someone who we hired for a public job. Guess what channel I'm watching.
-
That '70s Show. It's one of the last episodes of the show.
-
The official video for Megadeth's "Train Of Consequences."
-
TBF's second Legends vid. X3
-

Fox Noise?
-
TBF's second Legends vid. X3
Oh, don't try and fool me. You're only watching it because of the song.
I'm watching GSN now. Not my favorite channel, but better than anything on Nick@Nite, right?
-
Oh, please, it's not even anywhere near my favorite GnR song.
It's fun to sing to, yes, but I did really like the video.
Right now, watching the Weather Channel to check up on the storm warnings for around here.
-
You can sing to it? Isn't Axl's voice insanely high in that song?
-
I didn't say I was singing in the same octave.
-
A video I put to the song "Nemo" by Nightwish.
-
The Comedy Central Roast of Larry the Cable Guy. That is still one of the funniest things I'd ever seen in my life.
-
The Comedy Central Roast of Larry the Cable Guy. That is still one of the funniest things I'd ever seen in my life.
I just hate Toby Keith. His blood is red, his picket fence is white, and his last album blue.
I'm watching a bunch of short people singing to a fat kid who got stuck in a pipe. It's not Super Mario Bros.
-
An episode of my favorite DD, the 1989 Super Sloppy Double Dare.
-
Wouldn't it be amazing if they finally aired Where in the World is Carmen San Diego or any game show that we had watched in our childhood. I'm watching an episode of Hollywood Squares right now.
http://www.hulu.com/hollywood-squares (http://http://www.hulu.com/hollywood-squares)
-
The entire DVD of "Jeff Dunham: The Spark of Insanity" that my friend got as a gift a couple years back. I must say, he is a talented ventriloquist.
-
Harper's Island Ep 1. After so long, I'm actually watching it! Praise the Lord!
-
"The Useless Map of the Chibcha Chieftain."
-
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi, for my site.
Olmec once said it was called "The Three-Legged Bowl of Delphi".
-
I'm watching the entire 1998 "Pleasantville" movie. Just one of my ol' favorites.
-

-
Some music videos that iTunes decided to double over out of nowhere. (That is, their play time was doubled by them playing the video twice, but without the audio the second time.)
-
Half Life: Full Life Consequences FTW.
-
Something called "Laff A Lympics" on Youtube.
Hanna-Barbara cartoon characters competing in Olympic sports. It sounds cheesy, and it is, but I like it.
-
The video for "Bye Bye Beautiful" by Nightwish.
It's even funnier if you get why they made it like that.
-
The April Fool's Day episode of Cram hosted by the one and only Marc Summers.
-
The Temple Run for "The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed".
-
[url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbrsjqHRX-4[/url
Collecting girls.
-
The Temple Run for "The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe."
-
"Double Double Dare" (DD 3-D special episode)
-
A Deal or No Deal marathon on GSN. Gimmicky episodes considering they're upping the number of million-dollar cases just to get someone to win a million. I would've personally cut down the number of cases from a certain episode on (permanent rule change rather than a gimmick).
-
My favorite episode of Legends EVER.
If you don't know which one, you obviously haven't paid attention to my screen name, my avvie, my siggie, and my numerous posts I've made praising said episode. :D
-
The music video for "Hangar 18" by Megadeth
-
My favorite episode of Legends EVER.

-
An episode of Beat the Clock (1979) on YouTube.
-
Pure awesomeness. (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LGYSeckYNw)
-
The series finale of That 70's Show.
God, how I miss this stuff...
-
You and me both, dude. :)
-
My Family's Got GUTS on Nickelodeon.
-
MFGG again.
-
All That on Youtube. Man, I miss that series. Same with Kenan & Kel and LOTHT, of course.
-
Some game show called "Globo Loco" on Disney Channel. It uses stunts ripping off Double Dare and Fun House... -_-
-
How much lower can Disney go...
---
"The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor" =D
-
How much lower can Disney go...
Apparently, right into the ground all the way to the earth's core...
The Temple Run for "The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta".
-
It's British, so I'm not surprised they ripped those stunts off...
-
TBF's "New Divide" Legends vid.
-
The official vid for "Wasted Time" by Skid Row? one of my favorites by them.
-
The video for "Hangar 18" by Megadeth. Fun fact: the intro when Vic starts commanding the other people at the base? That's "Dawn Patrol" being played in the background.
-
Aaand now the vid for "Dead Horse" by Guns N' Roses. :P
-
BrainSurge on TV right now. Still too easy to win, but it could be worse.
-
The Family Guy episode where Peter wins maid service on Wheel of Fortune. Lord knows we've quoted that one enough~
-
The ending of Dead or Alive 4 for Helena. It's tragic.
-
"Alexander and the Gordian Knot"
-
A commercial for the new DSi XL. They're still selling New Super Mario Bros.

Indeed.
The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain run.
I honestly think Tiffani could have set the record for greatest run if she wasn't so slow.
-
"The Diary of Dr. Livingstone"
-
The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie.
I blame Janeen and the production error. Can't we just call it a technical win?
-
Well, they weren't given the vacation anyway, as far as we know... Now I'm wondering about that. XP
Anyway, I'm watching "The Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart."
-
The Totally Rad Show. No Justin Beiber on the T.V. I was just watching the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards and he was performing at that time.
Like baby, baby, baby ohh
I thought you'd always be mine mine.
-
After searching a little while on YouTube, Dexter's Lab.
*Misses his '90s cartoons*
-
I was watching Betty White on SNL and now I'm watching classic Barney late at night. Apparently they put these classic shows late at night specifically for us.
-
Unedited "Alejandro" performance on American Idol.
-
That Animal Crossing movie I've been wanting to watch.

Metalocalypse. I'm half-bored and easily distractible, you see.

An example of Axl wearing short shorts (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYcqBM0KhxM&feature=related) () and being an asshole. (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYcqBM0KhxM&feature=related)

The first Bayformers movie... and it's not too bad.
-
Overhauling on Discovery Channel
-
Glee Ep 17 - "Bad Reputation"
-
Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego?. I'm honestly more used to this version than the World version before it (I mean, I was 5-7 at the time and more likely to remember it), but it's too bad it's a lot harder to find.
-
Glee ep 20 - "Theatricality"
Otherwise known as Gaga ep and you'll be happy to know they get beaten up for wearing her costumes.

That's So Raven Season 1 eps

Airplanes Music Video by B.o.B feat. Hayley Williams (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn6-c223DUU)
-
Family Guy. It's the episode where Peter buys Meg a car and the plan takes a hard left thanks to his poor attention span.
Salesman: Did I mention the tank is a tank?
Peter: Sold.
-
The video for "Schwarze Witwe" by Eisbrecher. Great song, but I can't help but look at Alexx (lead vocalist) and feel envy? I wish I was as well-built, you know?
-
An episode of How I Met Your Mother. Funniest show I've seen in awhile, honestly.
-
American Dad. It's totally the second coming of Family Guy so things quickly become stale, but this particular episode isn't bad.
-
A documentary about Guns N' Roses.
-
"The Marble Armrest of Xerxes". Easiest tiebreaker ever, and the Purple Parrots STILL screw it up.
-
The Tokyo performance of "It's So Easy". My favorite live performance of the song.
-
An episode of How I Met Your Mother. Funniest show I've seen in awhile, honestly. :P
-
A rerun of Warehouse 13 on SyFy. A man's gotta watch something other than cartoons and music videos once in a while.
-
The music video for "Don't Cry". I've given up figuring out the meaning of this video, let alone the order and meaning of the trilogy formed by this, "November Rain", and "Estranged".
-
Good Burger.
-
The "You Could Be Mine" video.
TARGET: W. AXL ROSE
ASSESSMENT: WASTE OF AMMO

More episodes of Where in Time Is Carmen Sandiego? (http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2mClItTm_0) I just found two new ones right now, which is awesome.

The music video for "I Won't Tell You" by Lacuna Coil. Most of the band's videos focus on them performing, but somehow this one actually seems more solid? it feels like it has a subtle storyline of some sort, actually.
-
Alvin and the Chipmunks movie
-
Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter
-
Endurance
-
An Endurance episode called Partner Game.
-
The video for "Vergissmeinnicht" by Eisbrecher. I swear, the flickering lights are enough to make most people a little dizzy watching this...
-
A new episode of How I Met Your Mother. I'm surprised at how many Guns N' Roses references there are.
-
A shitload of Simpsons couch gags strung together as a single vid.
-
The music video for "Eyes Of The Insane" by Slayer. Done pretty well considering the director never even met the entire band. :o
-
Barbie as Rapunzel
-
The Snowman. I must have seen this when I was little, but it's been so long I figured I might as well rewatch it. Such a charming story (with a bit of a sad ending); I still love it.
-
"The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan" on YouTube.
-
The music video for "Norra El Norra" by Orphaned Land. Slightly cheesy production, but at least the story it's trying to convey fits fairly well with that Mabool, the concept album which features this song.
-
The movie "Good Burger" on the ABC Family Channel.
-
Good Burger. :D

Good Burger. :D

"Last But Not Beast," the original finale to Dexter's Lab.
-
Just got done watching Cars bout 1.5 hours ago. Can't wait for the sequel!
-
Ed, Edd n Eddy- "Honor Thy Ed" (aka "The One with the Haunted House" :P). One of my old favorites, and it still manages to make me lmao after all this time.
-
Dan Blonsky's run on Millionaire.
-
Before I came to the Forum, Westley Eure's version of Finder's Keepers on Youtube! :D
-
See "listening to" thread

Cheater. :P
The music vid for "High Speed Dirt" by Megadeth for the first time. Had no idea they used a live version of the song (FASTER than the studio version, as with most of their live performances— even a good number of the RIP songs ) for this. :o
-
A copy of the Rust In Peace Live DVD a friend lent me because I just can't afford to buy it right now. :P
-
The only time anybody went for the grand prize on Greed. Poor guy had to figure out the four most recognizable smells from a list of nine, but he only got three correct. I have to wonder if he would've gotten the fourth had he considered taste as opposed to smell, since he turned down the fourth answer because it wasn't very pungent...
-
Not sure if this is a new episode of Millionaire or a rerun, but it sucks when you have to use a lifeline each on the first three questions... At least now there's more of an excuse because the first ten questions are shuffled so they're not necessarily the three easiest, but still.
-
Kati Knudsen's run on Millionaire. I kind of forgot how she took so much more time than she should've— it's almost agonizing watching her going through the $4000 and $500,000 questions.
-
Metalocalypse. Like, several episodes back-to-back on iTunes. Why have I always had trouble catching this show on TV?
-
Megadeth live in Hammersmith, 1992. Their best concert IMO.
-
The "Million Dollar Tournament of Ten" questions from Season 8 of Millionaire, all in order. If I'd been in Seed #3, Seed #6 or Seed #8's place, I would've gotten the million (although I admit I would've pulled a Ken Basin on #10's question, but hey, it was only a drop from $50,000 in that case). I'm thinking that's an all-too-specific example of "Be Careful What You Wish For."

The Los Angeles auditions for America's Got (No) Talent.
-
I'm watching AGT too. After season 5, I said to myself I wasn't going to watch season 6, but here I am, watching it. >_>
-
So TBK, what did you think of iLuminate? With that performance, I say they're already better than Fighting Gravity from last season. I mean, they're very similar. However, iLuminate is way more technical than FG, and I like that. This might be the act that could very well prevent a singer from winning AGT for the first time ever.
-

They're pretty good...but personally, I like the guy that juggles the stun guns.
-
That was amazing too. Thing is though, what else can these two acts do? For the taser juggler, what other death defying things can he do? Is this guy a one hit wonder? As for iLuminate, they're just like Fighting Gravity in another way. Last year, when I first saw FG, I wondered if they were a one hit wonder. I'm glad they proved me wrong. I wonder the same about iLuminate. What else can they do? I hope they don't disappoint. Also, at the end of this show, I saw a sneak peak of some of next week's acts. One of them looks similar to iLuminate. These guys might have some competition this year. FG didn't have to deal with another similar act last year.
All I can say is because of iLuminate, I now plan on watching this show all the way to the end of the season. I just hope the Fall classes for my community college later this year don't interfere. I'm going into more technical, hands on classes this August.
-
I also find it kind of sad that the Double Dream Hands man didn't even make it past the auditions. The man's dances are very popular on Youtube and he got booed by the audience and got 3 X's from the 3 judges (although Sharon pressed Howie's buzzer button). The man has appeared in a Sprint phone commercial too. Talk about a fail. I mean, what he does is great, but it's not worthy of winning $1 million. It's just not what the show is looking for. Acts like iLuminate is what the show is looking for.

The Scripps Spelling Bee finals, and the words are extremely varied this year. There's some that are ridiculously hard, and some that I remember studying when I was in middle school.
-
The Scripps Spelling Bee finals, and the words are extremely varied this year. There's some that are ridiculously hard, and some that I remember studying when I was in middle school.
I was in the Scripps spelling bee in middle school! :D
-
I've actually been embarrassed to admit it, but me too... and I did make it to the nationals (not that I was the champion, but still).
But it was weird because, like I mentioned, some of the words from the televised rounds this year, I remembered studying for the REGIONALS when I was eligible. The rest were as hard as I'd expect, but I'm still surprised how long the final five managed to keep going (at one point, they each made it through four rounds before the next contestant was eliminated). I'm a little disappointed that the one I was rooting for (an eighth-grade girl from Ontario) only placed second, but oh well. :P
-
I was also in Washington as part of the nationals. I was knocked out in the 4th round, but I still came in 40th out of 296, so I'm not complaining. ;)
-
Oh, I'm jealous now. You two made that spelling bee? That's awesome! I loved the spelling bees. I entered them starting in the 3rd grade all the way to the 8th grade (9th grade on up didn't have a spelling bee for my district). The highest place I got was 2nd in the 7th grade. I wish I never misspelled "dilapidate" that year. Getting a chance to compete in the Scripps s.b. would've been awesome.

Full House - "But Seriously, Folks"
-
Oh, come on, ALF: it's a little soon to be calling that. We just happened to have conversation based on one thing that we were watching. :P
Currently I'm watching a few Millionaire vids from the new season, including some of the bigger winners from this season and funnier moments like the "Uranus" slip-up (see the innuendo thread).
-
A preview for a game called Never Dead... which contains a preview for a new song off of Megadeth's upcoming album. :o
-
The Fifth Element on "Swye Fwye," as I can't help but call the channel ever since the spelling change.
-
Why is it called SyFy now? Sorry for making this topic go overboard again. >_>
-
The first two episodes of Family Guy on Adult Swim. Choppier animation aside, why couldn't the show stay more like this?
-
I heard Family Guy sucks now. I don't think I've watched a single episode of that show. I know, I suck. :(
I watched AGT again and I must say this: in season 5 (last year) when Howie Mandel replaced David Hasselhoff, I was happy because I didn't like the Hoff as a judge on this show. He wasn't that good. Howie now has a full season under his belt and after the first two episodes of season 6, I never thought I'd say this, but I want the Hoff back. Howie's worse! He was great on Deal or No Deal (a game show I loved), but Piers Morgan is right, Howie doesn't know what good talent is. Not only that, but Howie's feud with Piers is becoming lame. I really think it's staged. At least the Hoff made a good attempt at being a reasonable judge on this show. I want the Hoff to come back and replace Howie.

Well, the first few episodes were actually a lot funnier in my opinion. After that, the jokes were pretty much all hit-and-miss.
Currently watching a bit of a That '70s Show marathon on Nick at Nite.

Marla Miller's run on Millionaire on YouTube. Have I mentioned I love the new theme for the $500,000 question?

That's it. Broderick added vibrato to and held the last note of his first solo. This song is perfect now.
And what the fuck is up with Dave's amp during his second solo?

Koyaanisqatsi
This is where artistic visions can get very strange. The title of this one is a Hopi noun phrase meaning "life out of balance." There is no dialogue in this movie. There isn't an obvious plot, either. And in fact, there are no actors. There are plenty of people filmed, but most with no direction (aside from standing in front of the camera for a few seconds), so everybody is just acting naturally and being filmed and technically there are no actors.
But to top that, nobody appears within the first almost-nineteen minutes (it's 86 minutes long, for perspective's sake). Up until then, it's mostly just recordings of natural phenomena— although there was a rocket launch near the beginning— with civilization only coming in later. And all of it is set to a rather scary yet epic soundtrack. It seems like how much symbolism or how strong a message is really in place is up to the individual (I think there's obvious environmentalist or social commentary nuances in the film, personally), but what I can say is that it's hauntingly beautiful.

"Rock 'N Roll Zombies Know Best," Episode 3 of a Canadian live-action horror/comedy show called Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. Buying Season 1 of this show from iTunes was a great idea. :D
-
Still watching Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, believe it or not. Back up to Episode 6, "The Invasion of the Stupid Snatchers," which is definitely the last one for the night. :P

I really loved Dog Eat Dog when it was first run on GSN, so seeing it return to the lineup after several years (and catching two episodes in a row right now!) was an awesome surprise. :D

Repo! The Genetic Opera. So glad some of my friends from the now-dead Mega Man fan community I was a part of turned me on to this, because it's got interesting premises and tons of awesome music throughout. Plus an extremely varied cast that really can sing and act, despite what you might assume about some of them. :D
-
Cowboy Bebop, episode "Mushroom Samba." Probably the funniest portrayal of drug use outside of That '70s Show.

Nothing. My TV is off right now.
-
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (87 series) the episode Planet of the Turtleoids.
My two favorite are April O'Neil and Oroku Saki/Shredder. The 87 Shredder and April are the only ones that I prefer. I mainly prefer the 87 Shredder because unlike all the Shredders that came after him he is funny, gorgeous and sexy. The Shredders that came after him, mainly the 2012 Shredder are scary, creepy and ugly.
