I gave this room a 3. I never liked this room, no matter what season it was and what variation was used. I mean, it was just a plastic seat. I did like the rotating Throne Room Season 2 had, but it was just an uninspiring room altogether. Give me the Laser Light Room anyday.

I gave the Throne Room a 3. Basically, I gave the S1 version a 2 and the S2 version a 4.

It was definitely one of the lamest rooms on the show. The Season 1 version simply had an uninspiring objective. I mean all the contestants had to do was put some part of their body on the chair. The only reason I didn't give it a 1 was because it was better than pushing actuators. The Season 2 version was lame too, but I have to give the producers credit for switching up the room a little bit. Unlike the Heart Room and Swamp, at least the room spinning was interesting. Although it seemed to have some production issues too. Mainly runs like Golden Stallion and Blackfeet Chief. It was a lame room though and definitely one of my least favorite rooms.

My ratings of the room by individual ranking would probably be the same as yours. I never really thought of ranking them that way. But with my ranking of a 3, it would be fitting. Plus, not many artifacts were hidden in the Throne Room either. I mean, there was Golden Ship, Electrified Key, and that's it. The rest of them were in the different rooms that space had. Of course, none of the bottom central shaft runs were wins anyways.

I always really, really liked the Throne Room. I think partially for nostalgic reasons. I thought it was a neat room in concept. It made sense that there would be a room like a throne room in an ancient temple. And plus Season 1 sort of gets a bit of a pass, as they were still learning.

2. Lion Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta

6. Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
7. Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
8. John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Goldmine
9. Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress

I will admit that when I was little that me and my sister pretended that our recliner was the Throne Room. As for the room itself, it is a bottom 5 room in my eyes. I really wish they would've done more with the objective. My idea for this room would be to have several different thrones in the room and have the player sit on the right one to open a door. It is better then sitting on one chair at least. I did like it when the contestants in S1 sat on it despite the doors being already open.

I'm sure all of us have pretended our recliners, or better yet, our computer chairs were the Throne. I know I've done the latter quite a bit of times.

That is a really good idea actually. Those S1 kids would have butchered it though lol.

My cousins and I used to always have some sort of "throne room" when we would play Legends in our grandparents' basement. It always seemed to have a temple guard so my one cousin was always kinda scared of it, lol.

We also did the same thing with the Treasure Room too. We had an old wooden toy box where we treated it like the treasure chest. Looking back now though, there would NOT be a Treasure Room in my temple today.

That must've been one big toy chest if it was meant to imitate the Treasure Room.

Your temple would be 12 Treasure Rooms each with their own personal mask of Shaka Zulu lol

For the season 1 Throne Room, I'd give it a 3. For season 2, I'd give it a 5, because I like how it turned around :P. So that rounds out to be a 4.

Boy, we're sure getting a lot of different votes for the Throne Room. Not that there's anything wrong with that. ;) It was an alright room, but the execution was rather poor. I mean, a plastic seat. Come on now.

I'm glad that it's not all unanimous. That would be boring.

None of these polls have been unanimous at all. Same with the color combination thread. Again, nothing wrong with that. I just find it interesting.

And with a 3.68 average, time to end the poll for the Throne Room.

Up next is The Pit of the Pendulum. ;)
