Final Fantasy Fever

I decided to replay FFX for the hundreth time. It just seems to get better and better everytime I play it. I just haven't been able to find a good RPG since FFX, but that aside, I've been freaking crazy about FFX lately, I've even spent my free time in school day dreaming about teaching a class on "Ancient Spirian Studies". I even wrote a short essay about the crusaders in my english class, perhaps I am befalling to the dreaded "fandom"........nah, I'm too cool for that!
Crazy, but that's how it goes.

7 had so much more to work with than 3/6 though... like, if they would've just saved the 3/6 story and characters and music for a playstation game ratherthan a SNES game and a remade playstation game, then it would be the best game in the history of games (well... it already is the best game in the history of games, but whatever). :P

LOL, yeah, FF7 is and always will be my number one favorite game. Not much I would add or take away from it (maybe a few more sidequests and bosses). Anyway Final Fantasy X was definatley one of the most unique games of the FF series (In my opinion.)

Unique... yes... but it was a little too "unique" for FF for me. Still an alright game and awesome graphics and the voice acting was a definite plus, but the battle system was blah (however, that was something they improved on in FFX-2 which, IMO, has the best battle system of any FF game). Anyways, the sphere grid was cool and new, but.... i dunno... i missed good ol leveling.  :P

Gotta agree with you there, nothing compares to good old leveling up. Although FFX2 was a big let down for me. It just seemed to be lacking something the first one had. It was too much sidequest, and not enough main plot. It's been a while since I've played through FFX2, but after I beat FFX again, I might return to FFX2, after all, who in their right mind could resit those scantly clad sphere hunters?   (Seriously who? No one, that's who)

I don't know why everyone disagrees with me on FF being a girly/gay game series.

Yeah... honestly, FFX-2 was just one big side quest... I hated all the freedom that it gave the player. Like, some freedom is nice... deciding the outcome of the entire game sucks. I like to follow a story.

And I can resist their slutty clothes. I'm cool like that. :P

I just walked from Macalania, all the way back toward Besaid. This is right before Yuna confronts Seymour about the assasination of Jescal. Furthermore, Yuna and Seymour about to wed, and if you happen to walk along the Mushroom Rock Road, you'll come upon a Guado woman guarding the road who will say: "What in Spira are you doing here? Maester Seymour expects you in Macalania." This one asspect shows you how indepth the programers went, to change the dialoge for every character after every event, even characters they don't expect you to be meeting with :!:

That was probably to make up for the fact that there was no world map and they needed you to advance the story.

FF1: teh pwnsomeness! My all-time favorite. I love Garland.
FF2: Never played it.
FF3: Never played it.
FF4: That's the one that was 2 in the states, right? Good, but I wish I didn't have to redeem Cecil.
FF5: Never played it.
FF6: Soooo Overrated. This marks the series' downfall IMO, with all the steampunk.
FF7: Ewwww. I am never touching anything to do with that overmerchindiced garbage.
FF8: Meh. It's getting out of the steampunk ages, so that's a plus.
FF9: Garland returns! All right! But the rest isn't so good.
FF10: We are finally back to high fantasy, but I am not fond of the chars.
FF12: Never played it.
CC: GET OFF MY BACK MOG! IF YOU CAN'T CARRY THE STUPID CHALICE DON'T ASK FOR IT!
Tactics: Never played it.
TA: Didn't get very far.
