All right, Singapore's internet providers are seriously flawed. The first, M1, uses USBs to get internet, and with three computers, my family's gonna be paying for three subscriptions - not worth it. The second is Starhub. You buy your modem, and then they connect it to the one internet cable in each building. That's right - one cable per building, and it gets really sluggish if everyone in the building is using Starhub. The third is SingNet. Everyone gets their own modem, and the internet's fast... but!... your IP address is the same IP as over 40 other people in the country. I'm currently using the third.
Anyway, I've heard that the Megaupload toolbar helps free users bypass the "one file at a time" rule. I'm constantly being annoyed by other people using the site at the same time I am, because of this IP shit, but I've also heard that the toolbar has spyware - even though my sources were written three years ago. So, has anyone experienced spyware with the toolbar - ever?
