I agree with GM1, I think that shipped has sailed in regards to another Legends reboot. The original show will be 30 years old this year and the production value for most game shows have changed since the mid 90's. I tried to keep an open mind with the Reboot, but it was just too slow paced and barely resembled the original show. Also, the target audience for the show is now mostly in their 30s and 40s.

I always felt the best time to reboot the show was back in the 2000s or early 2010s when the target audience was still in their teens/20s.

I wonder why the video keeps getting deleted? Also, this video seems longer than the previous version. Is there new content?

I did glance through the video and I found an interesting scene. At around 44:42, you see a room full of contestants. The Player Coordinator, Andy, introduces the contestants to the team member in charge of each set of players. He introduces the team leaders as "3.16, 3.17, 3.18, and 3.19". I believe he is referring to the official episode production order for that day. In this case, the episodes would be Discarded Seal, Mary Shelley, Dried Apple Half, and Missing Portrait in that order. Also, you can see Elisa from Discarded Seal at 44:46 mark.

I will watch more later to see if I can find anything interesting. ;)

Of course the Chiefs win a game where the other team shoots themselves in the foot.  Are they going to be the next Patriots dynasty where everything goes their way? The Bengals should leave that bum in KC for making such a boneheaded mistake. Tough break for the 49ers where their QB was out most of the game. Although I wanted the Eagles to win that game anyways as they're a fun team to watch.

Chief vs Eagles is actually a great matchup on paper. Battle of the #1 seeds, Andy Reid facing his former team, and battle of the Kelce brothers. Mahomes might not be healthy for this game, but gotta give him credit for playing through an injury in the championship game. I'm definitely rooting for Eagles though.

I'm not actually mad about the Ravens losing to the Bengals last week. Huntley put up a good effort and it was a close game despite the turnover in the red zone. The one bright spot that came from this game was they finally canned the OC Greg Roman. Good riddance, his playcalling was awful. Hopefully Ravens and Lamar can agree to a reasonable long term contract.  :mrpurple:

As for the other games last week, I think ,ost of the games were pretty good.

Chargers choked in typical fashion like they always do. Makes me feel better about the Ravens loss.
Vikings and Kirk Cousins also choked in the playoffs like they always do.
Tom Brady looked bad and I'm glad to see he won't be advancing. He has looked like Peyton Manning in his last season this year. Will he finally hang up the mitts? Although not a fan of the Cowboys.
Dolphins put a good effort against the Bills with a back-up QB. I wonder what Tua's future will be like?

As for the remaining teams, I want either Jaguars or Bills to represent AFC. Unfortunately, I don't think the Jaguars will beat the Chiefs this evening but I hope I'm wrong. I'm tired of the Chiefs coming close to the SB every year where everything goes their way. Feels like the old Tom Brady Patriots.

As for the NFC, I wouldn't mind seeing the Eagles or Giants represent. Eagles are a fun and talented team to watch and I like watching Hurts play. I personally find the 49ers boring and hope they're eliminated, although I have to give credit to Purdy aka Mr. Irrelevant carrying the team this far.

I predict Super Bowl will be the battle of the #1 seed teams - Eagles vs. Chiefs.

Happy New Year 2023!  :mrblue: :mrorange: :mrpurple: :mrred: :mryellow: Personally, this is going to be a big year for me as I will be working towards my CPA license. My sister is also getting married in August this year.

Also, Legends will be 30 years old this year. Hard to believe how long ago this was now. When I first joined this forum, the ending of Legends was only 11 years old. Maybe we can do something for the 30 anniversary?

The Heart Room / Re: Legends CW version canceled after one season

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised the Legends reboot only lasted one season. I think PP319 nailed the reason why the reboot didn't work for me. It didn't really resemble the original show much and the pacing was pretty bad. Plus, it wasn't the same without the younger contestants. I always felt that they waited too long to reboot the show. This should've happened in the late 2000's/early 2010's when the target audience was still in their teen/20's. The target audience now is in their late 20's/30's/40's. Sadly, I think this is the final nail in the coffin for a Legends revival. I don't think any studios will consider producing another Legends show in the future. Although I would be glad to be proven wrong about this. I did enjoy the Josh from Empress Theodora and Nick from Great Seal episode from the reboot. If they had more episodes like this, it might've been more enjoyable.

Yes, Sarah and Josh were a good team that got screwed with a jacked up layout. Both players tried every path possible and hit nothing but dead-ends. The only other possible route would be the Golden Idols-Swamp door... a route that was never used once in Season 1 aside from the Moccasins run. The Swamp door in particular could've been a potential production error. Maybe it was the poor lighting or production error, but the layout was complete crap. No reason why the Heart Room or Observatory door didn't open. Like the Golden Cup team, Sarah and Josh deserved a second chance in a heartbeat.

It would've been a very close call if Josh let the elevator descend all the way since he had very little time. They would've had more time if Ashley didn't act like she was on an afternoon strollion the temple. And yes, I think that Katherine and Sean would've had a better outcome if there were no production errors. They didn't even seem like bad contestants at all. Katherine moved at a fast pace and had a good strategy to start on the lower path. Despite having a more time consuming dead-end than Sabrina, Katherine and Sean still made more progress than her.

I would say any type of BTS video would be interesting. ;)

I think Trubinsky could be a good fit for the Steelers as well. Based on how Justin Fields performed for the Bears this past season, I think it's safe to assume it might be a Bears problem rather than a QB problem. And Rudolph is not cut to start in the NFL.

Amari Cooper to the Browns? I have a feeling that will turn into another OBJ situation. There's also a lot of drama with Mayfield now. That team can never catch a break.

And Tom Brady is still around to torture us another season.  :P The Ravens play the NFC South next year, so that means we get another chance at facing Brady. I'm hoping he has a bad offensive year like Peyton Manning had in 2015 with the Broncos .

There's actually a video (sort of) with BTS moments from Season 1. Someone uploaded this video in the early 2010's, but it was eventually made private/removed. Someone else uploaded the same video a few years back. The video shows various short clips from Season 1 rounds like the Snake Bracelet moat, Fountain of Youth temple run, and the            temple win. It also shows various cast members and contestants in the hallways and other rooms outside of the set. The most interesting part is seeing the audience members doing the "Egyptian Walk" while during the storytelling portion of the show (4:05 of the video).

I'm glad that David Greenfield decided to re-uploaded his video. I was wondering what happened to the original video. I didn't realize some lame-ass stole his videos and tried to upload them as his own. Nice to see an extended version of the original video. I did ask him in the last video he uploaded what was the correct spelling for Benzibab. He did confirm that Benzibab is indeed the correct spelling. He took that video down before I had to chance to reply and save his comment.

I don't recall there being a production error in the Empress Theodora run? Unless you're referring to the elevator stalling for Josh, that was not a production error at all. He took his hands off the actuators that operate the elevator, which is why the elevator stalled and the team came up short of the artifact. If he kept his hands on the button, perhaps he could've reached the artifact. Or if Ashley moved faster in the temple.

For the Golden Cup run, there is no doubt in my mind that this run would've been much better if there was no production error in Room of Harmonic Convergence. Katherine was moving pretty fast in the temple, but losing all that time in the Harmonic Convergence hurt them. Also, Sean ran into a production error in the Treasure Room. This was one of the most unluckiest teams on the show. Not only was their original temple run postponed, but their new temple run was riddled with production errors. After the Discarded Seal team, Katherine and Sean deserved a second chance in the temple no questions asked.

Also, you can add the Lost Logbooks and Golden Stallion run to your list too. Lost Logbooks had the production error in Harmonic Convergence and Golden Stallion had the Throne Room error.

Looks like it will be Bengals/Rams for the SB match-up! Before the season started, I never expected either team to make the playoff much less the Super Bowl. This is actually a pretty interesting match-up. A veteran QB whose never been to the SB vs. an up and coming QB who took their team from worst to first. I'm excited for this SB as it doesn't contain any NFL golden boys.

I honestly don't mind if either team wins. If the Rams win, Stafford will finally get a ring. If the Bengals, they will get their first SB trophy in franchise history and have a second year QB with a perfect playoff run.

I will post my predictions once we get a little closer to the SB date. The SB won't be for another 2 weeks though. First, we need to get past the lame ass Pro Bowl.  :afro:

And the Bengals shock the world and upset the Chiefs! What an incredible playoff run for them. They went from 4-11-1 last season to now being the AFC representation! Their last playoff win prior to beating the Raiders was all the way back in 1991. And now they're literally one win away from getting their first SB ring! I hope they go all the way and win the big one.

And now we have to wait for the NFC team. I'm rooting for the Rams over the 49ers because I would love to see Stafford in the SB. But really, I'm just glad that we don't have to see Brady or Chiefs in this year SB.

Argh the goddamn Chiefs manage to pull out a win against the Bills!  :x Are they going to be the new Patriots where everything goes their way?! Although it didn't help that the Bills gave up a FG with 13 seconds remaining. That was a great game though! Probably one of the best since the Ravens/Broncos double OT game in 2013.

In other news, Brady has been eliminated from the playoffs!  :mrred: The Rams tried hard to blow that one, but at least they prevailed. Too bad the Chiefs won or else this would've been the perfect weekend. And all four road teams would've won as well.

Next week is the Conference Championship game. It will be the following teams:

Bengals @ Chiefs
49ers @ Rams.

I have a feeling that Bengals will probably lose to Chiefs. They are too banged up and everything seems to go the Chiefs way.  :afro:
I pick the Rams for NFC game since they're more talented and healthy. But division games are definitely tricky to pick.  :afro:

SB match-up will probably be Rams-Chiefs, although I would love to see Rams-Bengals instead.
