Wish I could've been around sooner to really catch this when sooner.  Because honestly, going through counseling and all myself, I'm understanding more about how depression affects the way someone feels and thinks.

Worst part? I can't be physically there to help him. We're on the opposite ends of the world. And he's said I'd be okay with him gone.

Man, I've totally been there with online friends as well.  Depression just does this sort of thing, blocking out any positives and warping everything someone hears or thinks into another reason to hate themselves.  But in plenty of cases, the world doesn't hate them and they need to be reminded that there are people that care about them and can help them find the strength to keep going.

Here's the way to get him to look at it if he's still alive.  Every person who does care about him is happier just because he's alive, and they all want to share that happiness with him to help him out of his depression.  Feelings of apathy and self-loathing aren't uncommon and he's not alone, but the most productive solution is to get help from people who care about him, rather than kill himself because he falsely believes they actually don't.

Couldn't agree more. He just needs to be reminded that people actually do care.

Sorry for ignoring that post here TRJ (it's a good find), but I need to say this.

My mom and I are going through a crisis right now. She might be breaking up with her husband (my stepdad) and if this happens, then I don't know what to do. I live here and we might have to find a new place to live if one of his daughters keeps causing drama. I'm really worried.

Sorry to hear that, PP319. Family drama is always one of the hard things to go through, especially when you are caught in the middle of it. Hopefully everything works out though because I know moving around means leaving everything and everyone special behind.

Thanks TRJ. We've had to move once after my mom broke up with my dad about 12 years ago and it wasn't fun. We stayed in town, but it's a frustrating process, even for someone young like me. I just don't know what to do or what will happen next. I hear arguing right now and it's not pleasant. I'm really hoping for the best.

I believe I brought this up in this very same thread months ago. And I believe it's a FAKE interview. YOU even admitted it was fake and there was no way that was Jason. I brought up a bunch of those "interviews" months ago.

Guys. He's fine. Turns out he's been in the hospital for that long getting treatment. I'm just thankful he's alive.

Thank goodness he's alive and getting treatment. That's good news. I'm hoping he can get through this and live a happier life. I'm glad you're feeling better too, RJF.
