Here's something weird, Brain Surge is acctually liscenced from Japanese tv. The Show was Originally called Brain Survivor.

Was it September 18 or September 28 that BrainSurge starts airing? I don't watch Nickelodeon anymore, and I'd be thoroughly embarrassed if the show's already being broadcast.

That. Was. Awful.

Seems to me that they quickly threw together a set with bad lighting, at least IMO, and combined some quick games to play and what do you get? BrainSurge.

I will say that it is much better than Get the Picture in terms of gameplay, but Nick once again decided to bring back and old classic and didn't do it well... what a surprise there, huh? I honestly think they should move on from gameshows, even though I loved all of them before Ben Lyons and gang came along. This is even lower than My Family's Got GUTS to sum it all up, in terms of props, host, and from an entire show standpoint.

It was disappointing, but I wasn't expecting much anyways. You'd think Nickelodeon would have better game shows since Legends and GUTS have came along. Very uncreative. The most disappointing thing is that the game doesn't require any intelligence, so you can't laugh at the contestants for lacking it, like you could in Get the Picture. It also looked way too easy. I wonder why Nickelodeon would go back to quiz-style game shows? The most boring Nickelodeon game shows were like that. This probably won't live to see a second season, which isn't good for everyone hoping to see more games shows on Nickelodeon.
