This is an episode of the new Legends called Legends: Evolved ( Any problem, please go to the link stated and post.

Also, no comments until the end of the episode.

Episode 126 (3x46):The Cannonball of the Globe
The camera manoeuvers through a lot of plants and stops in front of an ancient Mayan Temple. Then, a talking stone head appears and says:
LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE! (The pendant logo appears and the background shows the whole temple) With your guide, KIRK FOGG! (The pendant logo breaks into pieces) AND HERE HE IS NOW!!!!

Kirk swings in to the set and lands. He then says:
Thank you very much! Thank you! Nice to see you! Nice to see you, Olmec! Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan Temple Guards. Only Olmec knows the legend of each of the treasures of his temple. Which one are we gonna here about today?

Olmec: The legend of the Cannonball of the Globe!

Kirk: Wow, The Cannonball of the Globe. Well, one of these teams will have a chance to retrieve the cannonball. Will it be... (The camera shows the team up close)

The Red Jaguars?
The Blue Barracudas?
The Green Monkeys?
The Orange Iguanas?
The Purple Parrots?
The Silver Snakes?

(The camera goes back to Kirk) They'll have to pass a lot of physical and mental tests, and in the end only on team will earn the right to enter Olmec's temple. But first, they'll have to cross the Moat, and Olmec will tell us how they'll have to do it today.

Olmec: Before you lies a hollow log floating in the Moat. When Kirk gives the signal, the first player will roll the log to the other side, with their partner moving on top of the log. If the second player falls into the water, both of you must begin again. Once both of you are across, run over and hit the gong!

(Kirk hits the Silver Snake gong to demonstrate)

Olmec: The first 4 teams to hit their gong will go on to the next round.

Kirk: Alright. Teams! Are you ready?

(The teams indicate they're ready)

Kirk: Olmec, are you ready?

Olmec: Let?s rock!

Kirk: On your marks, get set, GO!

(All the teams start off strong, and it actually is neck and neck)

Kirk: Wow, these teams are fast.

(All the teams are safely across and everyone hit the gongs, but from the looks of it, the Blue Barracudas and the Green Monkeys gongs aren?t on)

Kirk: That?s it! We have our 4 teams. (Kirk walks to the Silver Snakes) Wow, you were incredible along with the other teams! Going on to the Steps of Knowledge are the Silver Snakes, and the Purple Parrots, and the Orange Iguanas, and the Red Jaguars.

Kirk: The Green Monkeys and the Blue Barracudas gave a great effort. They?re not going away empty-handed, here?s what we got for them.

Announcer: A savings bond from Nestle Quik (Description).

(Kirk and the teams are at the Steps of Knowledge)

Kirk: As the quest continues, it;s now time for Olmec to tell us about the Cannonball of the Globe, but pay attention, because your knowledge of the legend can bring you a step closer to the Temple.

Olmec: One of the most successful playwrights and poets is William Shakespeare, often called England's national poet and "The Bard of Avon". Around 1585, he became part owner of a playing company known as the Lord Chamberlain's Men. From 1589, he started writing many works from comedies and histories to tragedies such as Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet and Macbeth.

Olmec: In 1599, one of the greatest theatres was built known as 'The Globe', owned largely by Richard Burbage and his brother Cuthbert, both in Lord Chamberlain's Men. In this magnificent theatre, many of Shakespeare's plays have been performed in front of thousands of people. The first performance recorded was Julius Caeser, and many plays have followed suit.

Olmec: But one fateful day, during a performance of Henry the Eighth, a cannon misfired and burned down the entire Globe theatre. No one was hurt except for someone whose breeches were burned. It was rebuilt the following year, but during the rebuilding, they found that the cannon had a cannonball lodged inside of it, and this cannonball made its way to the Temple. Your quest is to find the Cannonball and bring it back here.

Kirk: Thanks, Olmec, where's this cannonball?

Olmec: The Cannonball of the Globe can be found in the Jester's Court.

Kirk: Teams, you are standing on the Steps of Knowledge. In a minute, Olmec's gonna ask you a question. If you think you know the answer, I want you to stomp down on the ancient marking in front of you. If you’re right, you’re gonna move down to the nest level, but if you’re wrong or ran out of time, I’m gonna give the other teams a chance to answer. The first 2 teams to make it to the other level will be one step closer to the Temple. Olmec, we’re now ready for the first question.

Olmec: Shakespeare was famous for....
or poetry?
(Orange Iguanas stomp in)
Female Orange Iguana: Poetry!
Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: Nice answer by the Orange Iguanas. Next question.

Olmec: Where is Shakespeare from?
(Silver Snakes stomp in)
Both Silver Snakes: England!
Olmec: Right on!

Kirk: Whoa! Great answer! Next question.

Olmec: Where is Britain located?
(Purple Parrots stomp in)
Male Purple Parrot: Europe!
Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: Yeah, the Purple Parrots are on the board now. Next question.

Olmec: What was Shakespeare's other official title?
The Duke of London...
The Bard of Avon...
(Purple Parrots stomp in)
Male Purple Parrot: The Bard of Avon?
Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: The Purple Parrots are just one step away already! Next question!

Olmec: What was the name of the playwright company?
Lord Simon's Servants...
Lord Chamberlain's Men...
or Queen Elizabeth's Knights?
(Purple Parrots stomp in)
Both Purple Parrots: Lord Chamberlain's Men!
Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Purple Parrots are already through to the Temple Games! But we're looking for two teams, we need one more. Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: Which of these is a famous play of Shakespeare?
(Red Jaguars stomp in)
Both Red Jaguars: Romeo and Juliet!
Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: Now the Red Jaguars are on the board. Next question.

Olmec: What was the last name of the brothers who owned most of the Globe?
(Red Jaguars stomp in)
Female Red Jaguar: Burbage
Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: Now the Red Jaguars are one step away from the Temple Games! Next question.

Olmec: What is the name of the first performance of The Globe?
(Red Jaguars stomp in)
Male Red Jaguar: Henry the Eighth?
Olmec: That is correct.

Kirk: These two teams will be moving on to the Temple Games, and they are the Purple Parrots, and the Red Jaguars! Come over, guys. The Silver Snakes and the Orange Iguanas have put it in a good effort. They're not going away empty handed. Here's what they get.

Announcer: Skechers Footwear (Description)!

Kirk: These two teams wil be playing for the right to enter Olmec's Temple and they'll do it right after this!

(The camera pans from the Quicksand Bog to the Jester's Court and zooming into the Cannonball and the pendant logo crashes and the show fades to break)

(The show is back from break and the pendant logo splits and zooms out of the cannonball)

Kirk: Welcome back to Legends! Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, let’s meet our team players.

Kirk: On the Red Jaguars, we have Zachary who collects baseball cards and is in the marching band, and Amelia who’s a cheerleader and a choir girl in her school. Let's hear it for the Red Jaguars!

Kirk: And on the Purple Parrots, we have Michelle who loves poetry and dancing, and Will who's into basketball, baseball and tennis. Let's hear it for the Purple Parrots!

Kirk: Why don't you girls get ready for the first Temple Game and the girls for the second, and I’ll tell you what’s gonna happen here. In the Temple Games, teams are competing to win pendants of life. The winning team will need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the Temple. There are 3 temple games, and Olmec, tell us about Temple Game #1.

Olmec: William Shakespeare was always writing poems when he was younger, but he sometimes lost track of them. Your task is to help him retrieve them. When Kirk gives the signal, crawl underneath, pop through the hole and grab the poem. Then, crawl back and pop through another hole. If the poem you find matches the one you have, go back and put it in your bin. Otherwise, switch the poem with the one you have and move on to the next hole. The player that retrieves 3 pairs of poems or the one that's further along in sixty seconds wins.

Kirk: Time for some spring cleaning. Let's put 3 minutes on the clock.

(The clock bangs down with sixty seconds)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!

(Both girls crawl underneath and grab their first poem)

Kirk: They gotta find that one matching poem. (0:54)

(Amelia finds her pair while Michelle switches her poems)

Kirk: The Red Jaguars have one pair already. (0:46)

(Michelle and Amelia both find a pair after switching a few)

Kirk: The Purple Parrots need to catch up. (0:29)

(Michelle finds another pair and goes back to her bin, and so does Amelia, meaning...) (0:15)

Kirk: That's it! Let's see what they got! Alright, the Red Jaguars got 1, 2, 3 pairs of poems, which means they get the half pendant of life.

Kirk: The Purple Parrots can catch up in the next game. It's also worth a half pendant. Olmec, tell us about it.

Olmec: The Burbage brothers needed to promote the performances for the Globe, so they had to get people to sell tickets to the British. In this case, you will be the ones helping them. When Kirk gives the signal, grab a ticket, move to the other side, and drop the ticket in your bin. Then, make your way back and grab another ticket. The player with the most tickets at the end of 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: Let's put 60 seconds in the clock.

(The clock bangs down with 60 seconds)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!!!

(Zachary and Will immediately get their ticket and dump it in the bin at the other side)

Kirk: They're moving fast already! (0:54)

(Both are neck and neck and dump their tickets at about the same time)

Kirk: Both players are blazing right now. (0:45)

(Less than 15 seconds, and half of the tickets are gone for both players)

Kirk: Wow, Shakespeare is gonna be rich! (0:10)

(10 seconds later and a last ditch effort by Will...)

Kirk: That's it! Time's up! Let's see what we got. The Red Jaguars got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 tickets, while the Purple Parrots got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 tickets. The Purple Parrots get a half pendant of life!

Kirk: So the Red Jaguars and the Purple Parrots have a half pendant each. We go to the third and final game. It's worth a full pendant. Olmec, tell us about it.

Olmec: Lord Chamberlain's Men had to make sure that they get rid of any cannonballs that were sent along with the cannon that burnt the Globe. Now you'll have to experience the same thing as them. When Kirk gives the signal, one of you will throw a cannonball up and your partner will have to catch the cannonball and put it in the bin. The player with the most cannonballs at the end of 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: This is for the Temple. Let's put 60 seconds on the clock.

(The clock bangs down with 60 seconds)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!

(The girls start throwing the cannonballs and the guys catch them in quick fashion)

Kirk: Whoever wins this will get the full pendant and a half, and they look fired up. (0:50)

(Michelle and Will start losing pace, while Zachary and Amelia remain consistent)

Kirk: Purple Parrots need to pick up the pace. (0:42)

(Michelle and Will begin to catch up while Zachary and Amelia continue to stay strong throughout)

Kirk: It's getting neck and neck. (0:30)

(30 seconds later....)

Kirk: Time's up! Let's count them up. The Red Jaguars have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 cannonballs, while the Purple Parrots have 1, 2, 3, 4 cannonballs. That means the Red Jaguars win the full pendant, which gives them a pendant and a half. The Red Jaguars are going to the Temple!

Kirk: The Purple Parrots have done wonderfully throughout the show. We got a great gift for them, and here's what it is.

Announcer: Melody pops (Description)!

Kirk: We'll see if the Red Jaguars can make it through Olmec's Temple and retrieve the Cannonball of the Globe right after this!

(The camera pans from the cannonball and busts through the wall and the pendant logo crashes and the show fades to break)

(The show is back from break and the pendant logo splits)

Kirk: Welcome back to Legends! The Red Jaguars have proven themselves worthy and have now earned the right to enter Olmec’s Temple, but before we get started, Olmec’s gonna give them some information to help them retrieve the Cannonball of the Globe

Olmec: You could start by running up the stairs to the Crypt! Grab the book from the skeletons, and pass into the Pit of the Pendulum. Knock over the column, and climb into the King's Storeroom! Smash the clay pots to find the key, that will lead you into the Chamber… of the Sacred Markers. Match the symbols on the right, to the rules on the left, and pass into the Rooom… of the Ancient Warriors! Place yourself in the correct armor, and open the door to the SHRINE of the Silver Monkey. Assemble the statue and you may be headed toward the Room… of the Secret Password. Find the tablet with the correct inscription, and shout it out to open the door to the Pharaoh's Secret Passage. Slide down the tunnel to the Quicksand Bog, where you could smash through to the Dark Forest… but beware the Temple Guards that may inhabit the treeeeees! Find the key in the tree and you'll enter… the Jester's Court! Press yourself against the correct wall painting, and you'll gain entry to the Tomb of the Headless Kiiiiiings! Pull the vines to release their bones, and attach the missing skull to its proper king! Then, race through the pit, CLIMB through the Ledges, rrrrrrace down the STAIRS and back through the Temple Gate! The choices are yours and yours ALONE! You won 1 and a half pendants in the Temple Games. Who's going first?

Zachary: I am!

Olmec: Very well, Zachary. When Kirk gives the signal, you'll race through the gates into the Temple and make your way towards the Cannonball of the Globe. Hidden inside the Temple are temple guards assigned to protect 3 specific rooms. You can trade your pendant for an extra life and go on, but if you're caught without a pendant, you'll be taken out of the Temple, and it will Amelia’s turn to try her luck. Hidden inside the Temple is the other half of your pendant. If you can find it, and you're carrying the other half, you will get an extra life.

Olmec: If you can reach the Cannonball, all the doors in the Temple will instantly unlock and the temple guards will vanish. Return to the gates with the Cannonball of the Globe in 3 minutes and you’ll both be handsomely rewarded, and here’s HOW!

Announcer: First you're gonna get a CD Player (Description)!

Announcer: Grab the Cannonball in 3 minutes and you'll receive this encyclopedia (Description)

Announcer: If you can bring the cannonball out of the Temple before 3 minutes, you'll both be going to Mexico (Description)!

Kirk: They both wanna go to Mexico, so let's get them there! Get into position, Zachary! Lower your gate, Olmec!

(Olmec lowers the gate)

Kirk: Put 3 minutes on the clock!

(The clock bangs down with 3 minutes)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!!!

Zachary goes into the Ledges and immediately... (2:53) "Temple Guard! But he has a pendant, so he can move on." (2:49) He climbs up to the upper crawl tube and makes his way to the Pit of the Pendulum (2:39) He swings on the rope and knocks down the column (2:31) and the doors to the Tomb of the Headless Kings and the King's Storeroom open. Zachary climbs up the Pit and goes to the King's Storeroom (2:19). He smashes the first pot and gets the key (2:16). He tries the first keyhole, but nothing happened (2:13). He tries the second keyhole, but nothing too (2:10). He tries the last keyhole, and the stone slab lowers (2:06). Zachary makes his way to the Room of the Ancient Warriors (2:00) and tries the first suit, but nothing (1:57). He tries the second suit, and the door to the Shrine opens (1:52). He grabs the base of the Monkey and places it in the space, but... (1:45)

"Temple Guard! It's time for Amelia!" Amelia makes it to the Shrine (1:19), and grabs the middle and the head of the Monkey. She assembles the Monkey in quick fashion (1:08). The doors to the Room of the Secret Password and the Dark Forest open, BUT only the Dark Forest door is open while the door in the Shrine is still closed. Amelia heads into the Room of the Secret Password after checking the Shrine doors (1:04), and shouts the passwords. "Klaatu Barada Nikkto!" But nothing (0:59) "Open Sesame!" And still nothing (0:53) "Long Live Olmec!" And the door to the Pharaoh's Secret Passage opens (0:47). "Slide down the Egyptian Slide!" Amelia gets to the Quicksand Bog (0:38) and struggles to bust through the wall (0:35) and enters the Dark Forest (0:32). She tries the left tree and gets the key (0:27). She uses the key on the door to the Jester's Court, and it opens (0:24). She enters the Jester's Court and.... (0:17)

"She's got the cannonball, now she needs to get out of the Temple!" Kirk shouts while Zachary yells "Come on, Amelia!" Amelia enters the Tomb of the Headless King (0:11), then the Pit (0:04), and on the way to the lower crawl tube when... (Time's up!)

Kirk: Oh! They were so close in getting out with the cannonball! And they did such a great job out there! But they do get the CD Player and encylopedia. We gotta get outta here, so join us again next time for another Legend of the Hidden Temple. Bye!

(The camera pans to the Moat and the top floor while the credits scroll)

Legends of the Hidden Temple is recorded in front of a live studio audience in Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios, Florida.

Well, seeing as you asked, I will say the time issue is starting to improve. :P I think a few of the room objectives, particularly the Dark Forest, the Pit of the Pendulum and the Room of the Ancient Warriors, seemed a bit fast, while the King's Storeroom might have just been spaced a little funny (I could see the hunt for the key taking a little more time and the hunt for the keyhole a little less, but overall the room seemed to take the right amount of time).

I don't really expect that she should've been able to get to the artifact taking all this into account, or at best, it would've been a much closer grab.  But the situation is in fact improving from your first episode— I can admit that much. ;)

Otherwise, I noticed a couple things that may need to be fixed: the heading with the link to the old board, the Purple Parrots only needing two answers to get to the bottom (was their other answer incorrectly attributed to the Iguanas or the Snakes?) and a little typo in the Temple Run rules description, referring to the last episode's artifact.  Just thought I should point those out for fixing, but this wasn't a bad read otherwise. :P
