The Temple Games / Legends Episode Generator Baseball: Game 1
« on: September 15, 2022, 04:42:41 PM »
Who wants to play imaginary baseball here on Phantom's Temple?

Like the golf game, we'll use a random number generator (1 to 133) to generate an episode number from both the original series and the reboot. We'll all take turns for each inning.

As every episode for the original series has already been rated, I thought we could rate every episode of the reboot we saw on the CW. Of course, 10 is for incredible episodes that you'll want to keep watching and 1 is for horrendous shitfests with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. With that, the rating applies to the entire episode and not just the Temple Run alone.

Pending:
Day 1: The Lucky Losing Pok-ta-Pok Ball of the Hero Twins
Day 2: The Fiery Lava Rock of Pele
Day 3: The Amazing Talking Rooster of Lam-Ang
Day 4: The Magic Flyswatter Conga Scepter of Mwindo
Day 5: The 10,000 Year Pearl Necklace of Rama
Day 6: The Golden Torc of Freyja
Day 7: The Golden Apple of Atalanta
Day 8: The Broken Sword of Heaven of Susanoo
Day 9: The Deadly Spear of Cu Chulainn
Day 10: The Seven Scorpions of Isis
Day 11: The Mysterious Bundle of the White Buffalo Calf Woman
Day 12: Gilgamesh and the Lycium of Immortality
Day 13: The Fiery Yam Stick of the Seven Sisters

The Treasure Room / Had LOTHT Continued on Nickelodeon: Episode 121
« on: May 17, 2022, 02:58:30 PM »
(Camera moves through a thick jungle taking two wrong turns and finally reveals King Olmec)

Olmec: Legends of the Hidden Temple!

(Title card forms)

Olmec: With your guide, Kirk Fogg!

(Title card shatters)

Olmec: And here he is now!

(Kirk Fogg swings onto the set)

Kirk: Thank you! Thank you very much! Nice to see you! Thank you Olmec! Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple. Which one are we gonna hear about today?

Olmec: The legend of the woolen shreds of Old Faithful.

Kirk: Oh, the woolen shreds of Old Faithful. Well, the legend is set and one of these six teams will have a chance to retrieve the woolen shreds.

(Camera shows each team cheering)

Will it be the Red Jaguars?

The Blue Barracudas?

The Green Monkeys?

The Orange Iguanas?

The Purple Parrots?

Or the Silver Snakes?

Kirk: They'll have to pass some pretty tough physical and mental tests, and in the end, only one team will earn the right to enter Olmec's temple. But first, they have to cross the moat, and Olmec will tell them how they'll have to do it today.

The Treasure Room / Legends of the Hidden Temple: Casino Edition
« on: May 04, 2022, 04:26:33 PM »
I recently had ideas for a Legends of the Hidden Temple casino game as I’ll soon be flying to Las Vegas with my older brother along with two of our aunts and our remaining grandfather. Below are the prizes.

Moat Crossing
First: +$20
Second: +$15
Third: +$10
Fourth: +$5

Steps of Knowledge
Question 1: +$11
Question 2: +$10
Question 3: +$9
and so on

Temple Games
Winning Game 1 or 2: +$10
Winning Game 3: +$20
Tying Game 1 or 2: +$5
Tying Game 3: +$5
Winning the Tiebreaker: +$10

Temple Run
Finding the Half Pendant (if applicable): +$10
Making it to the Artifact's Room: +$10
Grabbing the Artifact: +$25
Winning; +$25 (normally); Jackpot (if perfect)

Above is for a $1 wager. If a player wagers $5, $10, $20, $50 or $100, the prizes multiply by any of those denominations.

Jackpots by Wager
$1: $100,000
$5: $2,500,000
$10: $10,000,000
$20: $40,000,000
$50: $250,000,000
$100: $1,000,000,000

As always, credit goes to GreenMonkeys#1 for the scoring.

I was wondering if any of the following losing Temple Runs would be better without a production error. You know how production errors can screw a run up and cost the team a win? As a way to improve losing Temple Runs, one good solution would be to tell the crew to test the temple before putting the run into action.

The Lost Logbooks of Magellan
The Golden Stallion of Ali Baba
The War Fan of the Forty-Seven Ronin
The Good Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
The Seven Scorpions of Isis

In the fall of 2017, my older brother Jack decided to make a video where he sings Smash Mouth's most iconic song, "All Star" while playing a karaoke version of the Dave Matthews Band's most iconic song, "Ants Marching".

Changes Made
A. As there was a mini waterfall on the Red Jaguars' end of the moat in Season 3, another one was added to the Silver Snakes' end.
B. The set is more decorated with artificial plants than in the first three seasons.
C. There are team animal statues scattered across the set (Red Jaguars - On either side of the Steps of Knowledge; Blue Barracudas - Floating on either side of that team's moat lane; Green Monkeys - Clinging to the rails in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey; Orange Iguanas - Resting on rocks at the base of Olmec; Purple Parrots - In a large nest above the Pok-ta-Pok Pit; Silver Snakes - Coiled around that team's moat torch).
D. Black team symbol stickers have been stuck to the gong glasses.
E. When a team rings in, the step lights in their lane would light up their color rather than white.
F. When a team makes it down to the bottom step, their entire lane - down to the bottom step - would light up their color.
G. Whenever Kirk introduced the contestants before the temple games, their first and last names would be revealed. Of course, only the contestants' first names would be seen on the name stickers.
H. Rather than pink, the contestants' path and flashing dot on the HUD would be the temple team's color.

Specials
1. Legends of the Hidden Temple at Super Bowl - February 2, 2002

11
Here's the second installment to my "what if" scenarios on the more deserving temple teams going to the temple.

1. Annie goes first and will start in the Room of the Three Gargoyles, where she encounters the Temple Guard and gives him her pendant.
2. She opens up the Wall climb, jumps down and heads for the Observatory.
3. Once she had successfully climbed up into the Observatory, Annie runs to the sundial, spins it and heads down into the Heart Room where the second Temple Guard takes her out.
4. Brad quickly retraces Annie's steps and enters the Treasure Room from the Heart Room.
5. He runs through the Treasure Room and opens Shrine of the Silver Monkey.
6. Brad easily figured out the simple three-piece puzzle and went up into the Pirate's Cove.
7. In the Pirate's Cove, he spins the wheel and climbs down into the Dungeon.
8. On the way down into the Dungeon, Brad sees the other half of his pendant and promptly grabs it.
9. With both halves of his pendant, Brad busts through the Stone Wall and into the Tomb of the Ancient Kings, where he finds the key in the coffin right away to open up the Swamp.
10. As he tries to make it through the Swamp, Brad was scared for a moment by the third Temple Guard and gave him both halves of his pendant.
11. He then opens up the Room of Harmonic Convergence, enters the room and promptly grabs the small pot-bellied pig statue as he sees it on the ladder.
12. With Amelia Earhart's lucky pot-bellied pig in hand, Brad makes his way back through the Wall Climb, into the Cave of Sighs and back out to Kirk and Annie!

Here's the first installment to my "what if" scenarios on the more deserving temple teams going to the temple. Why "The Treasure Map of Jean Lafitte"? Of every episode I have listed, this was the first to air.

1. Jacqueline goes first and will start in the Cave of Sighs.
2. She opens up the Wheel Room and opens the Room of Harmonic Convergence.
3. In the Room of Harmonic Convergence, she encounters the first Temple Guard and gives him her pendant.
4. Once she's completed the objective, she climbs up to the Heart Room, sees the other half of Rex's pendant, hits the Treasure Room actuator and gets caught by the second Temple Guard.
5. Rex quickly makes it to the Heart Room where Jacqueline was taken out and grabs the other half of his pendant from the Treasure Room actuator.
6. With both halves of his pendant, Rex runs through the Treasure Room and opens up the Shrine of the Silver Monkey.
7. In the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, Rex had no problem putting the monkey together.
8. After successfully assembling the silver monkey, he heads into the Pirate's Cove, spins the wheel and climbs down into the Dungeon.
9. From the Dungeon, Rex busts through the Stone Wall and encounters the third Temple Guard in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings.
10. He gives the Temple Guard both pendant halves, finds the key in the coffin and opens up the Swamp.
11. Rex sees the map on top of the wall at the front of the Swamp and promptly grabs it.
12. With Jean Lafitte's treasure map in hand, he makes his way back through the Room of Harmonic Convergence, into the Wheel Room, up the ladder into the Cave of Sighs and back out to Kirk and Jacqueline!

The Treasure Room / Temple Runs Done by the More Deserving Teams
« on: November 06, 2021, 08:30:24 AM »
I was thinking about what it would have been like if the more deserving teams went to the temple in the following episodes.

Season 1
The Lucky Pot-Bellied Pig of Amelia Earhart (Purple Parrots)
The Treasure Map of Jean Lafitte (Red Jaguars)

Season 2
The Lost Lion Tail of Little John (Silver Snakes)

Season 3
The Marble Armrest of Xerxes (Purple Parrots)
The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass (Purple Parrots)
The Enormous Feather of the Mê Linh (Purple Parrots) - Despite the fact that Karisa was able to grab the artifact in the real temple run
The Lily-Crested Crown of Clovis the First (Purple Parrots)

Season 4
The Broken Sword of Heaven of Susanoo (Blue Barracudas)
The Mysterious Bundle of the White Buffalo Calf Woman (Orange Iguanas)

Which ones am I missing?
