The screen fades in to reveal lush greenery while faint ghosted images of contestants in various situations appear on the plants as the Legends theme music plays.

As the montage ends, the screen fades to show a man in a blue shirt and denim jeans walking along the edge of a large pool of misty water. “Hi,” he says. “My name is Kirk Fogg, host of Legends of the Hidden Temple: Wild Jungle, and today, it is a pleasure for me to showcase the golden moments of the show.

“We’ve seen teams come and go, wins and losses, funny moments and sad ones, but out of all of them, some moments stood out to us. So sit back and enjoy Legends: The Golden Moments.”

Two halves of a pendant of life crash together to form the show’s logo, which then pushes back and the words “The Golden Moments” appear below it.

The screen wipes to reveal Kirk standing in front of the Moat. “If you’ve seen our show,” continues Kirk, “you’ll know that any team that wants to make it to Olmec’s Temple needs to cross the Moat before they do anything else, and there’s so many ways to do it. There have been successful crossings and not-so-successful ones. Let’s take a look at some of the best moments we’ve ever seen out on our misty Moat.” A stone background pushes its way into the screen with words on it, made out of vines.

GOLDEN MOAT CROSSINGS

“The Shark-tooth Medallion of the Hawaiian King”:
Quote
“There they goooooo!” yells Kirk excitedly as the teams jump down into the water, each bringing the rope back and swinging across without much trouble. “They’re all doing well!” comments Kirk. “Let’s see if they can get the partners over—and they do, good job!” All the partners then try swinging over, and in moments the teams start gonging in.

“We’ve got one—” says Kirk as the teams begin banging down on the buttons “—two—three—we’ve got our four teams, right here!”
“The Secret Script of Miguel Cervantes”:
Quote
All six teams jump in and bring back their rope with fairly even speed, but the Orange Iguanas fall back into the Moat after trying to swing across. “Oh, it’s neck-and-neck… It’s a really close match!” comments Kirk as the players toss their ropes back. “But it looks like we may have our first team…it’s the Green Monkeys!” The Green Monkeys high-five each other, then slam down on their gong ahead of everyone else.

“Who’s gonna be the rest?” asks Kirk as the other teams attempt to catch up. “It’s very close… Oh, my… Looks like we might have…The Red Jaguars! And the Silver Snakes!” The two teams both hit their gongs with split-second timing, right as— “The Blue Barracudas are here! We’ve got our four teams!”
“The Secret Saddle of General Grant:
Quote
All six girls begin running on the rollers, with the Green Monkeys’ girl misunderstanding the rules—she pathetically takes a headfirst dive down the rollers and is sent back by the stunt spotters. “No,” says Kirk, “you can’t use your hands in this one—you just have to keep walking…keep walking!” The other five teams have less trouble, but the Orange Iguanas can’t seem to really get across without stumbling or slowing down, and eventually they collapse and are sent back about 2 feet away from the deck. “It’s tough because these rollers are slippery!” comments Kirk as the remaining four teams send their other players over—and at this point, it’s a little obvious who’s going to have a landslide victory, but…

“Oh no!” shouts Kirk as the Red Jaguars almost do a complete 360-degree flip in the air, landing on his back! “C’mon, you didn’t touch your hands…keep going, keep going, keep—Blue Barracudas in! Silver Snakes in! Purple Parrots in!” Suddenly, a wave of teams arrives and all gong in, closely followed by—

“THE RED JAGUARS!” yells Kirk. “We have our four teams!”
“The Golden Amulet of Haakon the Seventh of Norway
Quote
Six players edge forward towards the menacing logs spinning over the water. “This isn’t easy!” reminds Kirk. “If they don’t keep their feet moving, they’ll be in the water in no time.” The girl on the Red Jaguars, galloping like a horse, keeps her feet moving—but too fast, and loses her footing, falling into the water early. The boys on the Silver Snakes and Blue Barracudas seem to be just moving across the logs as fast as they can, while the Orange Iguanas steadily jog on the log as they move sideways, pulling each vine to the furthest point it can go. “The Green Monkeys are catching up!” says Kirk, right as the boy on the Purple Parrots—already halfway across—falls into the water. Meanwhile, the first players on the Orange Iguanas, Blue Barracudas, Silver Snakes, and Red Jaguars are already on the opposite deck and cheering on their partners. “This is a tough Moat crossing!” comments Kirk.
“The Useless Fishing Hook of the Chinese Fisherman
Quote
“It’s an exercise of balance and teamwork,” Kirk explains, “because they’ve gotta push on each other to keep their balance—but if they push too much, they might fall in.” The Blue Barracudas seem to have the idea at this point, as with the Orange Iguanas, and they move across the railway quickly, while the Green Monkeys lag behind. “Oh, red fell into the water!” shouts Kirk as the Red Jaguars, one on top of the other, fall into the Moat with a massive splash. “Woah!” Kirk exclaims as the spray from their drop is sent in different directions.
“The Dried Snake-hair of Medusa”
Quote
“And off they go!” shouts Kirk as the teams begin to make their way over the log jam. “Woah, these teams are blazing today!” He seems to be taken aback by the speed of the players, with the boys on the Green Monkeys, Purple Parrots, and Silver Snakes simply splashing their way across using the net, placing only one foot on each log as they spring across the water. “This is amazing!” exclaims Kirk as water splish-splashes around the set. The girl on the Orange Iguanas falls into the water, however, but at merely 15 seconds into the round, three boys are standing on the opposite deck. “This looks like it’s gonna be a quick Moat today,” Kirk comments as the second players on four teams begin to cross.
“The Silk Sari of Muhammad Jinnah”
Quote
“The trick to this one,” explains Kirk, “is so that when you lean against each other, you can balance—but you’ve got to be careful not to put too much weight on one of you!” The girl on the Green Monkeys falls backward, and her partner falls between the railway tracks, and have to go back. “The Red Jaguars are coming up fast!” comments Kirk, as the Red Jaguars reach the end and hit their gong. “We’re still looking for three more teams, though…” The Orange Iguanas and Silver Snakes are the next two to finish, banging down on their moss-covered buttons at about the same time. Meanwhile, the Purple Parrots collapse into the water in the same direction—the girl falling RIGHT on top of her partner as they splash into the misty water—and the Blue Barracudas go ahead.
“The Propeller of Jimmy Angel’s Plane
Quote
“This is a hard Moat,” comments Kirk. “You’ve got so many things going on… balancing on the platform and pulling yourself across with that rope!” The boy on the Blue Barracudas is going quickly across the Moat… but his partner isn’t holding onto the rope that she needs to pull the platform back for herself! “Oh, no, grab it, grab it!” shouts Kirk as the girl on the Blue Barracudas leaps forward grabs the rope—but a little too far, and ends up jumping right into the Moat as a result.
The clip freezes and the live shot slides back into the screen. “That last one was just… brutal,” comments Kirk, laughing. “Well, needless to say, she did get the rope in the end, but ended up getting very, very wet by doing so. Anyway, what you actually see every time you watch the Moats is sometimes just a tiny little section of it. Just watch what happened in this episode…”

A wide shot of a second-season Moat crossing—identifiable as the one from “The Incorrect Map of Ptolemy”—comes onscreen, with “60X” in the upper corner of the screen, and a timer rapidly increasing in time in the lower corner. “What you’re seeing here,” explains Kirk, “is a Moat crossing that took us a half hour to finish.” The clip rolls on, with players falling off from the rods left and right as the counter continues to count up and up until it reaches 31:27, when the fourth team finally hits their gong.

“Needless to say, that was a tiring day,” Kirk says, once the clip fades back to a close-up of him, now standing on a large lily pad in the middle of the Moat. “Anyway, that’s just the first bit of our Golden Moments special. When we return, we’re gonna see some more of Legends’ Golden Moments—right after this!”

Wild Jungle EP: The Golden Moments
« Reply #1 on: September 15, 2010, 03:38:26 AM »
When the screen fades back in, we see the show’s logo with the words “The Golden Moments” underneath. The pendant and the words both shatter and spin off in different directions to reveal a shot of the empty audience sections, which zooms out to show the entire Moat before fading back to a shot of Kirk sitting on the top Step of Knowledge.

“Welcome back to Legends,” he says. “This is our Golden Moments special, and today, we’re showcasing some of our favorite moments from our show. As you all know, once we get down to two teams, they have to compete in three Temple Games to decide who goes to Olmec’s Temple. We posted a poll on Nick.com with clips of five brand new Temple Games that we brought to Wild Jungle this season, and asked you to vote on which was your favorite. Here are the clips, once again…”

We pan through short snippets of the games featured, with its name appearing in the corner of the screen in lieu of the clock for each.

WALL RUN
Quote
“On your marks, get set…GO!” Kelli and Jessica both run into the first wall—but it seems harder than it looks, as Kelli has to body-slam till all the blocks fall over. Jessica takes a small lead and sheaths the first sword, but the Orange Iguanas are hot on their tail. “These are two tough teams!” comments Kirk, as the two girls learn their lesson and take a good run-up before they smash open the next wall.
PLATFORM HOP
Quote
“On your marks, get set…GO!” Both of the boys each grab a—rather large—sack of potatoes and jump with help of the elastic cords and both throw it into the crate instead of going over…and the both miss! “Might want to take a little time out,” says Kirk, “and go over to the crate instead.” Brett and Danny take this advice, and they take a few steps farther onto the platform, and both score.
STEPPING STONES
Quote
“The Blue Barracudas are making a good comeback,” notices Kirk as Marc catches up with Shane by running across the stones. He grabs the first apple and sprints back to the start to put it in his basket. “Nice move by the Blue Barracudas!” comments Kirk as Shane runs back to bag his first apple.
TEETER-TOTTER
Quote
“On your marks, get set… GO!” Russell and Ted both dash out onto the teeter-totter, cautiously crossing the platform as it tips downward into the pits of foam blocks on the other side. “They’re over the tipping path now,” commentates Kirk, “and now they’ve gotta… take their sword and knock down the soldiers!” The two boys both swing the swords at the first soldier, both knocking theirs down.
MAZE OF OBSTACLES
Quote
“The Red Jaguars are doing good,” commentates Kirk as Ana sticks the pole of her first flag into the holder and moves on, just as Megan gets off the slide. “Now the teams have to head through the dreaded Jungle,” says Kirk, as the Red Jaguars maintain their lead heading into the Jungle, full of elastic cords criss-crossing. Megan follows suit soon after, entering the Jungle and crawling through as low as possible, while Ana simply tries to scramble through the elastics.
The clip pauses and fades back to Kirk, who is now standing next to the bottom Step of Knowledge. “Those are the new games of the season,” reminds Kirk, “and we let you pick the best one—results later. But now, it’s time to take a look at our Temple Games round. In the first two games, the players compete alone head-to-head to win a one-half of—” He stops and pulls out a small golden disk from his pouch, holding it up to the camera “—a Pendant of Life. These things protect them from the dreaded Temple Guards later on. These games are all about toughness, endurance, speed, and having a competitive edge, and some of our players have really brought those traits to use during the Temple Games. Here’s a look at our Golden Solo Games.”

GOLDEN SOLO GAMES

“The Crown of Carloman”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set… GO!” The players start jumping up and down in their enclosures, trying to toss rocks through the center hole. “You can block too!” reminds Kirk as he continues to watch red rocks—from the Purple Parrots—and cream-colored rocks—from the Green Monkeys—fly everywhere inside the cage. [0:42] The Purple Parrots, having already scored five rocks, are yet to miss, while the Green Monkeys have only scored thrice.
“The Feathered Crown of Prince Edward”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set… GO!” The two girls, harnessed and held on by elastic cords, begin to cross the pool—rather sloppily, too, with water splashing as they step onto the shaky “stones”. [0:50] “They’ve got to make their way across,” explains Kirk as Veronica grabs a feather and starts to make her return trip, “and it’s real tough when those stones wobble around like that!” The Green Monkeys also return their first feather, but Veronica missteps and plunges into the water a few seconds later.
“The Secret Saddle of General Grant”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set…GO!” Emily and Dean both jump onto the other platform successfully, grab a sheet of leather, and return it to their basket in about eight seconds, making— “Good time so far,” comments Kirk, right as Emily’s feet crash into the second platform and she has to be pulled up to the platform by the spotter.
“The Ripped Newspapers of Alfred Wegener”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set… GOOO!” Immediately, the two girls begin crawling towards one of the columns in the corners of their soapy mats. [0:55] “This isn’t easy,” reminds Kirk. “They REALLY have to work hard to get to those sections of the… world, there…” Courtney suddenly loses her balance and slides all the way back to the center of her mat, smashing into the pole holding the elastic cord. “OHHH!” winces Kirk. “That has gotta hurt…”
“The Stone Beard of Ramses II”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set… GO!” Jessica and Joanne immediately begin shinnying up the “camels’ backs”, with Jessica clearly faster at this point. [0:54] “Oh, the Orange Iguanas are doing great,” comments Kirk, “looks like they’re gonna be doing this…” With 47 seconds remaining, Jessica pegs her camel’s nose, and ends the game. “And it’s over!” shouts Kirk. “Stop right there…”
“The Iron Helmet of Richard the Third””:
Quote
“Okay, teams! On your marks, get set… GO!” The camera immediately zooms in on Dean and Alex running towards the Camp—strewn with broken tents and firewood lying all over the place. “This is a tough race!” Kirk comments as nimble Dean climbs over the mess while Alex tries to remain on his feet instead. “The Green Monkeys are doing a great job so far, but here come the Red Jaguars!” The first obstacle ends with a small wooden slide to a marked track on the Temple Games floor, and Dean gets there first, taking his first helmet from the small rock stand. The Red Jaguars make an attempt to catch up; Alex grabs his first helmet a few seconds later, and then dives into the jungle—a metal frame filled with elastics. “The jungle’s real hard to get through,” says Kirk as both boys struggle as they crawl through the strings. “They have to avoid those elastics and still keep up their speed…” Once again, Dean is first out and grabs the second helmet. Now with both hands full, he reaches the lake leg of the course—a large pool of water to get across. “He can swim, he can walk, he just has to get across that lake!” explains Kirk as Alex reaches the lake. The Green Monkeys look strong, as Dean simply wades across the bottom of the pool as fast as he can. “Looks like the Green Monkeys are gonna do it!” Kirk shouts as Dean climbs out and grabs the third helmet. “And he does!” Dean crosses the finish line to greet Kirk, as Alex does about seven seconds later.
“The Original Book of Marco Polo”:
Quote
The two girls take a good run-up and attempt to land on their bellies…but Jessica almost lands on her knees instead. As a result, she uses her hands to break her fall, and slows down rapidly—while Tara pulls way ahead sliding to about halfway down the entire pathway before stopping.
“What was that, 10 seconds?” remarks Kirk, as the clip pauses and fades back to a close-up of him. He laughs. “Great job indeed by all those players. But Legends isn’t all about overcoming individual challenges—it’s about teamwork as well. From the start, our teams must work together to get to the Temple Games, and in the final game, the stakes are higher, with a full Pendant on the line. Let’s now take a look at some of the Golden Team Games.”

GOLDEN TEAM GAMES

“The Original Book of Marco Polo”:
Quote
On your marks, get set, GO!” Tara runs out, but her light figure ends up being a disadvantage when she’s catapulted backward by the bungee cord. The Silver Snakes make one exchange, and the spotters flip one of their cards over. Tara seems to have learned how to control her cord, but their pace is only about three-fourths the speed of The Silver Snakes. 20 seconds pass, and the Silver Snakes are still pulling ahead with “3” on their scoreboard, while the Purple Parrots still try and work up to get their third.
“The Golden Amulet of Haakon the Seventh of Norway”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set… GO!” Ana and Megan are boosted up by their partners, and then the boys begin climbing up the first step, holding onto their partners’ hands for extra support. “It’s gonna be a close race to the top!” comments Kirk as the two teams still race neck-and-neck, trying to get up onto the second step. Megan sets foot on the second step first, but her standing position makes it hard to help Peyton up the step, making the Silver Snakes’ lead virtually redundant. [0:47] The Red Jaguars catch up soon after, and “—it’s gonna be neck-and-neck up the final step to victory!” yells Kirk from the base of the steps. The girls once again get up onto the top step at the same time and begin to pull at their partner’s arms to desperately get them up.
“The Stolen Shovel of Erik the Red”:
Quote
“On your marks, get set…GO!” Amanda pulls Bryson along the footpath with a good rhythm, but the Silver Snakes seem to have trouble sliding along their path. “This game takes a lot of teamwork and communication,” says Kirk, as the teams get their first shovels in at about the same time. [0:43] “They’re pretty much neck-and-neck now, as they were before. These are two tough teams that are not gonna give up!” Both teams get their second shovels in, making it a tie game still.
“The Missing Map of Juan de la Cosa”:
Quote
“This is for the temple… On your marks, get set…GO!” Both teams immediately start climbing up through the first set of metal handlebars, then up along the top of the “map”, with the Orange Iguanas edging ahead of the Red Jaguars. Eventually, this small lead allows them to pull ahead, reaching the end of the track a few feet ahead of the Red Jaguars. “They’re scramblin’ to get out of the map!” shouts Kirk excitedly as the Red Jaguars begin to unhook themselves, but— “ORANGE DID IT!” yells Kirk. “That’s it…” The clock freezes at 14 seconds and disappears as Kirk walks over to the Orange Iguanas.
“The Space Helmet of Yuri Gagarin”:
Quote
“It’s neck-and-neck!” says Kirk. “Who’s going to the temple? It looks like they all wanna go to the temple…” Erin and Karen grab onto the third step and pull themselves up, with Karen getting up first, but…Keith falls a little behind again! Both teams scramble to the gongs and slam down at around the same time… but only the Blue gong lights up!/
Quote
“The Secret Scrolls of Francis the First”
Quote
“Woah! Nice move!” shouts Kirk as Darren races up the stairs—but Kurt is already furiously swimming his way across the Lake, reaching the end much farther ahead than Darren, who is still wading across the water. “Oh, it’s gonna come down to the wire,” says Kirk, as Julia and Kurt run over to the Tower and begin to climb, with Kurt just below Julia. “Here come the Red Jaguars…” Darren and Lorraine follow soon after, but the Purple Parrots are already halfway up the Tower, and they step off to hit the gong first—they’ve won the game!
“That was exciting,” comments Kirk. “Anyway, you can see that our teams work very hard to earn their way to Olmec’s Temple. But the games that they have to face are all different. Very different. You see, on Legends, the challenges aren’t just about the way they’re played—they’re also about what they’re played on, and this season brought us many new Temple Games. You saw the five that we asked you, our viewers, to ponder over and pick out the best one. Well, we have the result right here…” Kirk reaches into his pouch and pulls out a small index card.

“And the winner of ‘Best New Game’ is…” He flips the flap of the index card open and announces: “The Maze of Obstacles! That one was one of one of my favorites, too. But it’s not over yet. When we come back, we’re gonna take a look at the Golden Temple Runs, as well as find out what everyone’s favorite Temple Run of all-time is.”

Wild Jungle EP: The Golden Moments
« Reply #2 on: September 15, 2010, 03:39:05 AM »
When the screen fades back in, we see the show’s logo with the words “The Golden Moments” underneath. The pendant and the words both shatter and spin off in different directions to reveal a shot of a fog machine spewing out fog at the entrance of the Room of the Tropicana Birds, zooms out to show the entire upper entrance, and then fades back to a shot of Kirk standing in front of Olmec.

“Welcome back to Legends: The Golden Moments,” he says. “In total, 60 teams proved themselves worthy enough to enter the Temple, the property of my good buddy, right back here, Olmec. Hey, Olmec, what’s your favorite part about the Temple?”

The lights under Olmec switch on and he begins to speak. “That it’s MY Temple!” he booms.

“Ha, it certainly is, Olmec,” laughs Kirk in response, “and inside it, a lot of adventure goes on. There’s vines to be pulled, beaks to be hit, bananas to be sacrificed to the monkeys, rivers to be crossed, and of course, the Silver Monkey to be assembled. Just take a look at these Golden Temple Runs.”

GOLDEN TEMPLE RUNS

“The Secret Saddle of General Grant”:
Quote
[1:43] Emily slides down and hits the charred floor of the Secret Woods on her behind…hard. “She might feel that one in the morning,” says Kirk. “But is she going to find that key?” She stands up, walks through some charcoal-looking material, and peels the top off the rotting log. “It’s tough, because all that rotten wood inside…” Emily searches for the key among the shredded wood, even emptying most of the shreds out of the log, but with no luck. “Break through the wall then!” advises Kirk. Emily makes one last search, then hits the wall with both hands, walks over the pile of fallen stones, and climbs over the small stone ledge and into the Lion Cage with 1:21 left on the clock.
“The Incorrect Painting of the Ching Dynasty”:
Quote
“She’s into the Treasury of the Monkeys now,” commentates Kirk as Olivia bends down to pick up one of the bunches she knocked down. “Now she’s just got to make a sacrifice to the monkeys and see which is the right one…” She places the first bunch on the altar—nothing happens. She goes and gets the second bunch, placing it on the altar with 1:38 remaining. The lights in the room immediately go out, apart from the altar, which glows an eerie green, and the door to the Grand Marsh opens. “All right, now she’s gonna head into the Tropical Marsh!” says Kirk, misnaming the room. Olivia pushes the panel-door away, then climbs into the Grand Marsh. But before she can even set both feet in the room, a TEMPLE GUARD emerges from the murk to capture her with 1:26 left on the clock.
“The Crown of Carloman”:
Quote
“Now he’s in the Elephant’s Cave,” observes Kirk as Vincent enters the room with 36 seconds left on the clock. He opens up the first box, perched on a small ledge attached to the front railing. Finding nothing but straw, he moves over to the center box, this time being faced with a large peanut. “All right, he’s got the peanut, now he just has to find the right elephant!” shouts Kirk. Vincent places the peanut in the center elephant’s mouth first, but the mouth doesn’t close after a few tries. [0:22] “Try the other ones!” Vincent moves over to the rightmost elephant, and its mouth clicks shut when Vincent tries to close it this time, and the door to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey rumbles open with 15 seconds left.
“The Broken Sword of Lexington and Concord”:
Quote
[0:39]“Alright, now go…go…go! Assemble the monkey!” yells Kirk. “Ooh, nice move—she grabs two pieces!” Unfortunately, this does her in—the head of the monkey topples over the railing. “Place the base first!” yells Kirk. “Use the base first—” The head comes flying back over the railing and hits the temple guard door, right as Kelli starts to place the middle…the opposite way. “This part gives ‘em the trouble!” comments Kirk, with 26 seconds left on the clock. “It’s upside-down I think…” Kelli gets the difficult middle part in place, then chases after the head in the back of the room. “Slam it down!” says Kirk. “Jam it—”
“The Regal Robes of the Sun King”:
Quote
Racing at breakneck speed, Bryan heads into the room and slams the door of the cage shut. Trundling along downward, the elevator takes what seems like eternity to get to the bottom. “All right, go, Bryan!” cheers Kirk as time ticks away. “Bust through the wall!” [0:12] Bryan crawls out of the elevator, stands up, and breaks through the wall into the Forest of a Thousand Dragons with FIVE SECONDS REMAINING. “Go, go, grab it!” yells Kirk, as Bryan squats, grabs the robes, and holds them high above his head as time just runs out.

“They got it! They got the robes!” says Kirk excitedly.
“The Broken Plough of the Egyptian Farmer”:
Quote
“You’re just one room away!” says Kirk. “Come on, Graham!” [0:38] He enters the room, sliding to the floor, but picking himself up and turning around to search the first dragon’s mouth—nothing. He searches the ones in the left side of the room, time ticking away, but with no luck. “You might wanna try the other ones,” advises Kirk, “or bust through the wall!” [0:17] Graham keeps searching the mouths on the left, then moves to the three dragons nearest to the stone wall. “Go through the wall!” says Kirk. After searching one more mouth, Graham crashes sideways through the wall—but we’re OUT OF TIME!
“The Iron Helmet of Richard the Third”:
Quote
[0:53] He grabs the peanut, and then places it in the purple elephant’s mouth. He closes the mouth of the elephant, which stays shut, and the door to the Wildebeests’ Hideout slides open slowly. “Go! Go! Up the stairs!” cheers Kirk as Dean turns around and begins running up the stairs. “He’s in the room—grab it!” Kirk yells as Dean enters the room and takes the IRON HELMET with 44 seconds remaining. “He’s got the Iron Helmet!” shouts Kirk as Dean races out of the room. “All the doors are open! He just has to make it out now!” Dean arrives at the Walk of Faith, carefully crossing the creaky vine bridge to the door on the other side. [0:32] Dean runs up the steps to the Room of the Tropicana Birds, then passes through the room quickly and runs down the first set of steps to the fork behind Olmec. “He’s gonna make it!” shouts Kirk, as Dean rounds his final corner and crosses the finish with 25 seconds to spare!

“They did it!” shouts Kirk as Lacey and Dean hug each other tightly. “They made it out!”
“The Sheathed Sword of George V”:
“He’s heading into the Vine Jungle!” shouts Kirk, misnaming the room, as Wayne crawls his way through the door and into the Vine Drop, running past the three vines to the entrance of the Tiger’s Den. “Cheer him on,” Kirk says to Sharron, who is already jumping up and down in excitement. [0:44] Wayne has some trouble navigating his way through the room, initially climbing downward, but correcting himself and climbing up onto a ledge that leads back to the entrance. “He’s got plenty of time!” declares Kirk. “Bring me the Sword! Bring it to me!” Wayne hurries up the slide, runs past Olmec, and then crosses the gate with 33 seconds on the clock!

“They did it!” yells Kirk as Wayne continues running down the final steps to hug Sharron. “They got the Sheathed Sword—he is tired! They got it all! They—” Kirk is briefly interrupted by applause as Sharron, Wayne, and Kirk group hug for a few seconds.
“The Feathered Crown of Prince Edward”:
Quote
“All right, now he’s moving into the Shriiiiine of the Silver Monkey!” Mist pours out of machines in the room, causing a thick fog circulating around the already dim room. Ted has trouble finding the base of the monkey, grabbing the middle at first, but still correctly placing the base. [1:30] “It’s a three-piece monkey!” comments Kirk as Ted fiddles with the middle, turning it around to fit. “First you’ve got the base… and then the belly… and then the head!” Ted returns to the back of the room to grab the head, then slots it into the hole and jams it down to complete the monkey. The door to the Lion Cage opens with 1:13 on the clock.
“The Missing Map of Juan de la Cosa”

“Turn it around!” yells Kirk. “Turn it… You might wanna turn the middle around...it’s upside-down, I think!” Jamie finally turns the middle right-side up, then places it on correctly. [0:12] “Oh, no! It’s coming down to the wire…” says Kirk as Jamie gets the head, slamming it on with FOUR SECONDS REMAINING! “GO GO GO!” bellows Kirk as Jamie starts running up the small staircase—but we’re OUT OF TIME!

“NOOOOOO!” shouts Kirk. “They were sooooo close, but they didn’t get the Missing Map!
The clip fades back to a close-up of Kirk, now standing in front of the Tiger’s Den. “That was really exciting, wasn’t it?” comments Kirk. “Now those were all great moments, and every one of this season’s 40 Temple Runs were great, but only one can be the Best Temple Run of the Season. We also posted a poll on Nick.com for your votes, and you have decided that the Best Temple Run of the Season was—”

A drumroll plays Kirk pulls another index card from his waist pouch and opens the flap. “—‘The Space Helmet of Yuri Gagarin!’” The Legends victory fanfare begins to play as Kirk continues. “I think I know why you chose it—it’s very exciting,” he says. “Just take a look…”

“COME ON! YOU CAN DO IT!” screams Matt by Kirk’s side. Erin has a little trouble, but then notices the false roof of the log, and digs her hand into the wood shreds, popping up all four pieces in the process, as scrap wood goes flying. [0:37] Unfortunately, so does the key—right out of the temple and getting wedged between the two fallen columns lying outside the Secret Woods. Erin has a little trouble, looking up at the camera at several intervals, but reaches into the gap and grabs the key. [0:30!] “Grab it, grab it! GO!” Erin sticks the key onto the lower door of the Tropical Forest, and it opens up with the ‘swamp water’ slopping out of the door. She wades through the murk, pushes aside the vines covering the door to the Treasury of the Monkeys, and hits the actuator with 23 seconds left! “She’s in the room! She’s in the roo—SHE’S GOT IT!” yells Kirk suddenly, as Erin lifts the Space Helmet off the altar with 17 seconds remaining! “ALL THE DOORS ARE OPEN! Get outta there!” Erin begins scrambling through the Jungle Crevice, and crawling into the Tiger’s Den. “Go faster! Go hard! It’s coming down to the last seconds!” comments Kirk as the audience begins cheering.

“SEVEN! SIX…” The audience gets louder and louder with each movement in the caverns. With FOUR SECONDS REMAINING, Erin is seen climbing up the slide. “Will she make it?” asks a tired Kirk. “Up the stairs…three…two…ONE…SHE MADE IT!!!” Kirk goes wild as Erin is seen jogging down the stairs, completely out of breath as Matt rushes up to give her an excited hug, while Kirk rants on and on in a fast, excited, voice. “THEY DID IT! THEY DID IT ALL! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!”
“And today,” says Kirk, now sitting in a director’s chair, placed on the deck of the Moat, “we have the stars of ‘The Space Helmet of Yuri Gagarin’ themselves—Matt Newbill and Erin Baldonado! In the words of my good friend, Olmec, and here they are now!”

The Legends theme plays as a short boy with curly dark hair, and an equally short girl with blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail rush up the Steps of Knowledge to the Moat’s deck.

“All right, have a seat…” says Kirk, pointing to two other chairs situated to the side of his. “Okay… so, the last time you were on this show, you made it into the Temple and brought the Space Helmet out with just one second to spare—that has got to be exciting! Now, Erin—you brought the Helmet out… tell me what was going through your mind as you were making your way out of that Temple.”

“Well, I mean, I was just trying to make my way through that Temple as fast as I could,” she laughs, as we see a clip of her grabbing the Space Helmet and making her way out of the Temple. “Um, I kept thinking, like, ‘oh no, I’m not gonna make it, I’m not gonna make it, the audience is counting down…’, and I mean, it put a lot of pressure into me, but that definitely helped me… you know, like, get motivated and move faster, I think.”

“Now Matt,” continues Kirk, “you spent a minute and a half in the Temple, and I believe you broke a record—I mean, look at this speed, right here…” As Kirk says this, a clip of Matt running through the Vine Drop, pulling vines as he goes. “Tell me about your speed, did you train for this or…?”

“Oh, well, no, I don’t really do sports,” laughs Matt, as we see a clip of him sliding his way down into the Tiger’s Den. “If I hadn’t been caught and taken away, I probably wouldn’t have made it out in time, ha. I just tried to, you know, run as fast as I could, and I mean, we did have a plan on how to get to the Helmet, and we tried to go across the top and then go down as soon as we could to get the Helmet, but it’s like, when I was in the Temple, I just tried to move quickly and not really think too much about it.”

“Well, I can imagine how hard it must be to have all that pressure and the clock running down… and you have to do all those things in that Temple,” says Kirk. “So, what do you think about your experience on Legends in general—both of you?”

“It was definitely exciting,” says Erin. “I think it was one of the hardest things I’ve done in my life, really. Um… I swim, so I guess that helped… a bit… but there’s so many things to do in the… uh, Temple, and that room, with the wood, I got so excited that I threw the metal… thing out of the room…” She laughs. “But yeah, I think it was a great experience.”

“And you, Matt?” Kirk then asks.

“It was awesome,” he says. “There were so many challenges to complete, and we made it all the way to the Temple, so we thought we were gonna win for sure, but once we got in there, it became a lot harder. And it’s like, at the Moat, we almost didn’t make it, so we were like, super excited that we could move on, and I think that helped us through the whole day, you know, thinking about how lucky we were.”

“You definitely did well,” assures Kirk. “And for your accomplishments, we’re awarding you two these trophies for being the Best Temple Runners of the Season!” The camera zooms in on two trophies shaped like Pendants of Life.

“Thanks,” the two players say in unison, as the Legends theme begins to play.

“You’re very welcome—you deserved them,” says Kirk. “We’re outta time on the Legends Golden Moments episode—check us out next time for more adventure and another great Legend of the Hidden Temple! Buh-bye!”

The credits scroll as various ending scenes are shown: a close-up of the Anaconda’s Sanctuary, views of the Moat, without its signature fog, and Kirk chatting with Matt and Erin on the deck. Finally, the camera fades out, and the light bulb-Nickelodeon logo is shown as an electric buzzing noise is heard.
