Analysis: This one is easy. I'll take the much better Applewood Amulet.

I also went with Applewood Amulet. This to me, is one of the best episodes and temple runs on the show. Who cares if the layout was easy? Who cares if there was only a mere second left on the clock? Olivia Emma and Robert were excellent players and deserved to win. Layouts don't mean anything to me. We should be glad we even had an exciting, nailbiting run like this.

Also, I like how both episodes feature Green/Purple temple games, and finished in the exact same spots for the moat and steps.

[The Red Jaguars]

I have to give this one to Zapata also. It is an entertaining episode that never gets old to watch. The Green Monkeys were a great team too, easy layout or not. Also, the ending was one of the most exciting endings on the show after Lawrence of Arabia IMO. Golden Pepperoni was good and memorable episode too, and the temple run is no where near of a disaster people make it out to be. But it just does not stack up against Zapata.

Moving on to the Round of 32 is...

One of the best endings to an episode ever.
