Wow, this is a hard one. They're both failed escapes, and both equally as frustrating. I really don't like either episode honestly.

Two runs. Both failed escapes. Both SHOULD'VE been wins. This is hard.

I won't be able to be on tomorrow much because I will have to work and study for a big test. So I hope you don't mind if I reveal my vote now. I would keep it anonymous if I wasn't so busy tomorrow, but I will reveal it now that I have time. Anyways, both episodes are examples of an episode where the earlier rounds are good but the temple run is disappointing and frustrating. I can't really tolerate either temple loss at all, but the rest of the episodes are good. With that being said, I voted for "Lost Lariat". I just enjoyed the episode slightly more than "Icarus". "Lost Lariat" had a very interesting legend, a fun temple game sequence, and a temple run that is notorious for everyone including the host for the team losing. I enjoyed the earlier rounds of "Icarus" too, but I hate the temple run more than I do for "Lost Lariat". Jason's layout was way too easy, and he still manages to blow it somehow. At least the "Lost Lariat" run had Colleen and was interesting for all three players failing. Which is why I chose that episode.

The Winner is
PECOS BILL'S LOST LARIAT

This was tough, as both were Green Monkey runs had their male runners blow their load. I picked Icarus, as this was much closer. Pecos Bill was so irritating to me, as I couldn't point the finger at anyone. Colleen prevented this from being a solo run, Chris was slow, and Kirk told Chris to plow through the walls. Icarus also annoyed me as Jason had all this time and failed. However, the Green Monkeys got so lucky with the Silver Snakes blowing the tiebreaker.   Jason takes this advantage to take his sweet time. Maybe if he would remove one flaw, he would've won.

[The Red Jaguars]

No surprise to see this one close. And if one vote went from Lost Lariat to Icarus, then we would've had a tie. My vote went to Lost Lariat because is was a slightly more entertaining episode than Icarus. I can also tolerate Lost Lariat's temple loss more than Icarus. They were both good pre-temple rounds, but Lost Lariat had more going for it to me.

Admittedly, I picked Icarus. I thought this team was slightly better, but I can understand why it lost. A failed solo attempt vs. a failed team effort, I can live with this result.

I voted for Pecos Bill. This temple run and team was WAY less frustrating than Icarus. Icarus is both infuriating and overrated.
