What will the return of Legends to the network, if it has indeed happened, mean? Is this where Legends will find its home after Nick GaS is gone?
(Read the announcement in this forum (http://http://phantomsden.6.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=1046) if you haven't already.)
-
Well, one episode once a day compared to two episodes five or six times a day...
-
I don't know ed. Probably some goof is playing a prank on us that works for nick.
If legends were going to air, they would have announced it or at least show more nickelodeon retro shows.
-
I don't know Herored. I recall Mr. Wizard airing at like 6:30 AM when I was younger, and I never saw any publicity for that.
Maybe this is just a sign of the demise of GAS. Which, really, isn't such a bad thing.
Although I just saw the Paper Football "Heroes of the Game" for the first time yesterday, and the Scrabble "Trade Tricks" - which I've only seen a handful of times - was also on.
-
What are you talking about. Scrabble trade tricks and paper football are shown just as much as hot hands heroes and Maria Sharapova backhand serve.
My point is, it seems a little too good to be true for me. They would have revealed this to us a long time ago. They have shown legends on nick in over 10 years. Don't you think they would be more optimistic about it?
-
I think they are putting it there, because legends fans like us, will wake up or tape the show in that time slot.
Mmm ratings.
If it says Legends Of The Hidden Temple at 7:30 EST, I'd trust it.
Off topic, notice how under the name of the show, it has the episode name. It counts down from 340K, to 337 K on Thursday, and jumps to 336J on Friday.
What do you think that means?
-
Another reason I think this is fake. Its probably somebody playing a prank. They would play guts etc. before after.
-
If its true than its definitive proof that there is a God. And hes an awsome God.
-
I'm thinking if they really have moved it, it's just to open a few more time slots on Nick GaS and let in some more diffrent shows.

I have a feeling those are production numbers, with the "3" denoting Season 3 and the other two numbers indicating the number of the episode within the season. Maybe the letters denote production days?
-
If it is true, then why do they have to play it so early? :?
-
>:o School starts at 7:30
-
Yeah, the "340" is just too perfect. But think about it--if this is true, we could get definitive production numbers for each of the last five episodes.
Nick has gotten to the point where it doesn't advertise certain shows to be on at certain times like they used to. Slipping in a few episodes of Legends wouldn't be unheard-of judging by the network's recent scheduling trends. Remember--it's only schedules for this next week, but we can hope it will continue some time afterward.
-
Amazing, and so close to my 16th birthday at that.
This would mark the exact thing I've been waiting for for the last 10 years and have only come close to finding bits and pieces of it since. It does seem way too good to be true as most of these things really are. Only time will tell.
-
I hope it does come back to Nick, that would be great!
-
I doubt it, but maybe it means they're showing new episodes and there is going to be more seasons. (Again, I doubt they are going to do that, as Kirk would probably be too old to continue the show, unless they got a new host).

Well, Kirk's only in his forties (born November 17, 1960,) but it can't be new episodes, since Nickelodeon Studios was closed for good on April 30, 2005.

They do still have plenty of production studios, but they're all in California. It's impossible that they'd be making new Legends episodes, though, considering how there has been no advertising of any kind for the show. Nick would at least hype it up.
-
Well hell guys, say it really is coming back, do you know what this could mean? It could mean that our loyal devotion all these years could have infact brought it back. Maybe, just maybe, Nick has seen our many fansites, the many devoted fans, we may have brought back a TV show.
(key word: "may")
-
How ironic! The supposed return of LEGENDS to cable nick JUST HAPPENS to start on my 20th birthday.
-
 NO WAY!!!
Thankfully, I don't leave for school until 8:20, so I'll have to remember to set my alarm clock!
-
Um, guys? I highly, HIGHLY doubt there are new episodes of Legends. The production numbers are kind of clear; I'm thinking the letter was the production day. (K is the eleventh letter of the alphabet, and 11 production days for 40 eps isn't unheard of...)

When I say brought back, I'm not saying renewed, I'm saying back from the dead.....well atleast for myself I suppose, realize I don't get GaS.
UPDATE: Looks like it's scheduled for the next week as well, this might really be happening guys.
-
Holy... Please please PLEASEEEE SAY THIS IS TRUE! I have to leave at 7:25 to go to school, so I'll set a recording for this. Please.......
-
Well, the programming for Nickelodeon looks like this starting on Monday. All times Eastern.
6:00-6:30 - As Told by Ginger
6:30-7:00 - The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron
7:00-7:30 - The Fairly OddParents
7:30-8:00 - Legends of the Hidden Temple
8:00-8:30 - Spongebob
8:30-9:30 - Dora the Explorer
9:30-on - Nick Jr.
-
UPDATE: Looks like it's scheduled for the next week as well, this might really be happening guys.
Indeed, it has been! Notice, too, how they're playing the episodes. They're starting at the last episode produced in Season 3 and working their way backwards.
I want to make it clear that Legends was not originally set for the following week when I made the announcement. But with that said, my digital cable menu and the website agree with each other. This can only mean that the change was intentional.
-
:( That I'll be in school... maybe I can convince my parents that I can come in late every day for the rest of the year. Oh well, summer will be here soon, I just don't know if I'm up for waking up that early.
-
Maybe this is the first step towards putting this show on DVD
-
i think this is for real, and my digital tv guide agrees....lol
maybe, just maybe, this could be the building up of hype for a new legends....but i highly, HIGHLY doubt it....
-
I don't think they'l be new Legends at all. I think their trying to capitalize on the ratings they get on GAS and get them on Nickelodeon as well.
It is May sweeps I believe.

We can finally solve the mystery of Episode 120, then
-
I can tell you right now, I've got it narrowed down to the "slippery footpath" Moat day or "The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen," but don't get angry at me if I'm wrong.
-
I just discovered another thing as well. This is not for certain, but it's certainly plausible. You know how on the guide it labels the episodes with three numbers and a letter? As we already know, the first number is the season and the second two are the episode within that season. But I was thinking about the letter...
I'm almost certain it designates the day of taping. Notice how it begins at 340K (the 11th letter) and goes to 331I (the 9th letter)? I can't imagine the letter could be anything but. This can only confirm the hypotheses of our episode guide thread in The Pit.

Actually, to be perfectly honest with you guys, DD2K was the highest rated show on GaS last month. (found this out from a reliable source). BUT nevertheless, Im glad Legends will be back on Nick. 2 things: Maybe MORE Updated Plugs???? and where to put the Nick logo...over the clock??

Ed, you might be right. Maybe the letter is the day of taping. And thesilvermonkey, I have no idea where they'll put the logo... Maybe in the top left corner? Or maybe it'll disappear?
-
Of all things, I hope it's not on the clock. I remember reading quite a few complaints about the YouTubed Temple Runs where the Nick GaS logo obscured the clock.
-
Yah, then again.. the GaS logo was filled in. If they use the current nick logo, at least its see through..
-

Possibly, but even then I don't think it would be transparent enough...
-
But, we will all have to wait and see
-
Yup, and maybe we should post a Nick Daily Episode Log perhaps?

Oh, Ed. You're behind.
-
I'm betting anything they gave "The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen" its own letter since the Temple Run was postponed (credit to outer space for realizing it,) so otherwise it would just be ten production days for Season 3.
-
My two cents...
As much as I want to believe this true, I'm still skeptical. Why would they bring back a show that hasn't been seen on Nickelodeon in, about 8 or 9 years without any bit of advertising? And, hey, if they want to be fair about it, they should probably bring back Double Dare, Global Guts, Figure it Out, etc.
It also seems like an odd time to be airing it, at a time where most kids are off to school, which includes me.
I'll set my VCR tomorrow morning, because on my TV with Nick GAS, the VCR can't record, and be hoping for this to be true, but I wouldn't bet my jar of coins on it.
-
Oh, Ed. You're behind.
Alas, this thread has moved too quickly for me to keep up with it. Nice work finding that out before me.
I'm betting anything they gave "The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen" its own letter since the Temple Run was postponed (credit to outer space for realizing it,) so otherwise it would just be ten production days for Season 3.
This brings up the question of how they'd label episodes like The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen and The Golden Cup of Belshazzar. I don't think they'd put a special letter for an episode like this--I'm sure they labeled all the episodes with their numbers and letters before they even started taping.

"The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen"? Why's that there? That wasn't postponed.
-
This is kinda odd 4 nick to do this w/o warning......Its very strange and suspicious.....Maybe they're making room for a show on GaS???
-
They're bringing back Finders Keepers, but you're right, I have a suspicion they're not stopping there.
-
possible, Global Guts, or the originl DD??
-
They haven't dropped Global GUTS, I saw some episode of that last month one day I was waiting for Legends to come on. It's just not counted as a separate series, but as the fourth season of GUTS.
-
Well I'm turning in pretty soon, I'll verify in the morning if this is indeed true or not. God knows I hope it is. Cross your fingers everyone, our day of salvation may finally come.
-
You guys on the east coast will know before I do. If anybody is around when it's on, spread the word as fast as you can so that I may know. (Please?)
-
I'm waking up at 6:30, just to watch the show, since I don't have Nick Gas. You West coasters, it'll be on at 7:30 Pacific time.
And I still don't think Nickelodeon would say anything about Legends returning to the main Nickelodeon channel. I think they just needed to fill a slot in the early morning before Nick Jr. starts.
-
What's weird is that the 7:30AM block is really the "primetime" of the morning, if you will. Many kids will be eating breakfast during that time before heading off to school--it's not like they're putting it in the 5:30AM slot.
-
Time zone, Ed.
-
LEGENDS IS ON RIGHT NOW, NOT FINDERS KEEPERS.
Take that as you will.
-
It's TRUE ! The Jewel Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great is on right now!
-
Ladies and Gentelmen, we have confirmation, there is a god.
-
so The Jewel-Encrusted Egg episode must be the last episode?
-
Looks like it, Jake.
-
My DVR scared the crap out of me, the name 'Fairly OddParents' stayed on the recording, and the episode information, only to start it up.. to here Olmec say.. "LEGENDS of THE HIDDEN TEMPLE!" right at the beginning.
Holy crap. This can't be happening, can it??? Someone pinch me.. PLEASE!
-
It's true.
-
A few notes about Legends back on Nick: 1) The logo didnt seem to get in the wa of the clock to much, at least we can see through it. 2) The Credits werent Crunched
and 3) The Prize Plugs stayed like they were back in the late 90s... Hopefully the kids of today like Legends! keep this in mind: If Nick Airs Legends M-F from now on, in reverse order, it will take us till approx Nov 2 to get all 120 episodes from Nick Airings.
-
I'm willing to wait that long. The correct episode order is a major part of my website.
-
Thats a MAJOR part to any of the many Legends sites. Yes, even though my site is currently taken down, I am still making changes.
-
LOTHT will be on next week to same time

http://www.nick.com/shows/tv-schedule.jhtml (http://http://www.nick.com/shows/tv-schedule.jhtml)
-
I'm excited, I don't have Nick Gas, so I can wake up to watch the show. If I don't wake up in time, I have DirecTV and they have a 2nd Nickelodeon channel that bases their programming on the West coast. Therefore I can watch Legends at 7:30 Pacific time if I wanted to.
<------A Little excited.
-
Nick 2, i believe thats what its called.....
-
I'm fine.....I'm finally free.
AHEM.
On a less emo note, do we have any idea at all why it has been brought back?
-

Judging by the overwhelming presence of disbelief in this thread, I'd say no.

Like i said, its weird nick did this w/o warning. maybe this is the start of GaS's death?
-
I'm at school right now and can't download Flash... Can anybody tell me if Legends is scheduled for the week after next (therefore guaranteeing us fifteen ordered episodes)?

Bad news, it doesn't look like it. Doesn't make much sense though, why bring it back for 2 weeks all of a sudden just to take it back off?
-

Hmm. That's too bad. It could be a periodic thing where they put Legends on for two weeks every couple of months. If they do bring it back again but later on, they better continue with episode 3x30 and work their way down, otherwise it'd be quite annoying.
-
Don't be so sure. They change the complete schedule on Nick.com every few days.

But remember. Originally the schedual said that it was just available for this week and then suddenly the next week schedual was changed and legends was added.

Maybe so, it can't hurt to have faith.

What if Legends doesn't come back the 28th? What then?
-
What if Legends doesn't come back the 28th? What then?
Then we'll be exactly where we were two weeks ago...
-
Haha, I just noticed this. How odd of them to all of a sudden bring back a show that they haven't aired in about 12 years.
I also wonder about those "codes" they put under.

I'm talking about things like "336J" and stuff like that that they put under the schedule thing.

*sigh* For the nth time...
First number (3)=SEASON NUMBER
Next numbers (36)=EPISODE NUMBER
Letter (J)=PRODUCTION DAY!

Lol, thanks Olmec.

Welcome

-
Now the Nick.com schedule doesn't even list Legends for tomorrow...
...Yes it does. Same time, same place.
-
By what you describe, this seems like a week-by-week trial by ratings. The same thing was pulled with Doug around this time about 3 years ago. My advice is to tune in (and convince others to do the same) so that Nick can see that there is a following for Legends. I put the odds on getting a remake of Legends at 3%, while getting Legends back for a run on Nick over the summer: 25%-27% (being optimistic: 35%). Other suggestions: E-mail whoever is in charge of Nick scheduling and say good job. Like by the dozens. I'll try to dig something up on their forums.
-
I'm very excited to be watching Legends again tomorrow!
I want to see a one pendant run through the temple though before the week is over.
-
Good News Everyone!
We're not done with this yet, folks. A kind man named Seth sent an e-mail to me and pointed out that while Legends is not planned for next week at all, check out what reappears beginning June 4th!
Yes, it's Legends, and it's episode 101A: The very first one produced. Three cheers for Nick!
My guess: The Golden Cup of Belshazzar
-
Keep the guesses on production order in the Pit.
-
Ok, does anyone find it a bit odd that Legends returns for 2 weeks after 10 years. Goes off the next week, then comes back the week following that?
Am I missing something here?
-
GOOD NEWS ALL! Legends is on next week! Head on over to http://www.nick.com/shows/tv-schedule.jhtml (http://http://www.nick.com/shows/tv-schedule.jhtml) and look at 5/28...continue with season 3 and as of now nick.com says 6/4 will start with 101 still...... it could change

Year, I was just informed of this recently over e-mail. This means (at least) FOUR STRAIGHT WEEKS OF LEGENDS!!! It appears to me that the show is quite popular on the channel, or else they wouldn't put it on for so long... This is simply really good news.

Ha! The way I phrased it would suggest that, eh? Of course, I'm just excited about the return of Legends to the (more loved anyway) Nick cable channel.
-
Wow, thats great news! I knew legends would be back after this Friday. There's no way they'd show it and then take it off soon after.
-
It's all about ratings. If they get us to watch the show, the advertisers will pay Nickelodeon more to advertise on their programming.
Both sides benefit.
Also, in my opinion, Legends carries the Nick Gas channel.
-
Even though Double Dare has more ratings sucess, a lot of their audience I believe comes from Legends people to lazy to turn the channel. In addition, it would be silly to just keep running a season over and over again ergo, Legends got the nod. I salute Nick for giving the hard working fansiters a nod.

Yeah. For a company that doesn't say anything, they do seem to listen pretty well.
-
Also, Double Dare can also have the ratings edge, if Legends is shown over 5 or 6 times a day. People aren't forced to watch one showing of Legends, they can watch it over any part of the day. I bet if you add up the number of people who watch Legends to Double Dare, Legends would win.
-
So now we have a bit of a conundrum... There were two temple runs that used Layout 1 of Season 1. As we know, in addition to the Dead Man's Hand and Galileo's Cannonball episodes, the Golden Cup was taped on the same day, but its temple run was postponed.
The problem? Nick.com lists next Thursday's episode number as 104A. If we are correct in assuming that the letter represents the production day, then what happened? Was there another episode that began in Layout 1, or was there something else that happened that we aren't aware of?
-
There WERE four episodes, however, that filmed in Layout IX...
*continues reading*
-
And isn't it true, from what I heard, that Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress was the first episode aired on Nickelodeon, and it was filmed in Layout IX?
-
You know, while I do doubt it, there was never any confirmation that the temple layouts appeared in the order they are assumed to be... You don't think that Mr. Reynolds could have gotten the order wrong, do you?
It's very unlikely, but I'm just hypothesizing to pass the time until next Monday.
There WERE four episodes, however, that filmed in Layout IX...
Are you proposing that Layout IX would have actually been Layout I? Otherwise, I'm afraid we misunderstood each other.
And isn't it true, from what I heard, that Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress was the first episode aired on Nickelodeon, and it was filmed in Layout IX?
Yes, but the first one that aired in Season 2 was the Shriveled Hand of Efoua, my point being that the first aired episode probably doesn't have to do with production day.
-
Are you proposing that Layout IX would have actually been Layout I? Otherwise, I'm afraid we misunderstood each other.
It was an idea I was tossing around.
I also think it's unusual that the layouts in the order we assume go BACK to the Throne Room for no explicable reason.
Might I suggest that Layout V is, in fact, the last day of filming? It would make sense for Belshazzar to be tagged on at the very end.
-
I also think it's unusual that the layouts in the order we assume go BACK to the Throne Room for no explicable reason.
A while ago I looked at the layout orders and tried to see if any different one would make more sense than the one that is assumed. I think I remained inconclusive, but I do remember noticing that in order for the entire Throne Room's run to appear in consecutive layouts, the Troubled Bridge/Wheel would have needed to be taken down at some point before being put back up again, which I do not think they would go through the effort to do. As it is now, the Torch Room-Pirates' Cove-Room of Three Torches configuration makes the most sense.
EDIT: In fact, looking at it further, if any two layouts of the first season were to be switched in order, it would mess up the congruity of at least one room. (this chart (http://http://www.geocities.com/nicklegends/templelayouts2.html) helps a lot to visualize that).
-
And isn't it true, from what I heard, that Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress was the first episode aired on Nickelodeon, and it was filmed in Layout IX?
Yes, but the first one that aired in Season 2 was the Shriveled Hand of Efoua, my point being that the first aired episode probably doesn't have to do with production day.
What? Since when did we figure that out? I'm pretty certain that the first episode of season 2 that aired was "The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid."
I just remember so clearly.
-

Really? Well, that's certainly possible. I can't remember where I heard the Efoua thing, but I remember that the only thing the person who claimed it was remembered about the episode is that the first two temple games ended in ties. I shouldn't have been so quick to spit that out, though.
-
This could be dead wrong (even other than the "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Billy the Kid" tidbits, I mean,) but:

This could be dead wrong (even other than the "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Billy the Kid" tidbits, I mean,) but:

It lists the Season 3 episodes in alphabetical order. WRONG.

I mentioned this in another thread, but never trust TV.com. They took the episode list exactly as it appears on my site and used that to justify the order.
-
Sorry, I didn't know TV.com did that. I thought they were just fine going by the order aired but you were waiting to find the official production order.
-
And some more good news: Legends continues at the 7:30AM block for the week of the 11th, beginning with episode 106B.
-
Legends = ratings.
It wouldn't surprise me to see this stay on permanently.

Yeah, I'd love to get some ratings numbers to see how Legends is doing. We can already see that the show has held the same spot for five weeks--Nick certainly could have ended that run earlier if they had wanted to.
The appeal of Legends will undeniably wear off at some later date, at which point Nick has two options: either take off the show from the network, or experiment with making more kids' game shows... What will it be?
-
I could be wrong, but I am almost certain that the first TWO episodes that aired of season 2 were Purple vs Green in the temple games.
The first one being "The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid" and the second being a Green Monkeys temple episode.
-
It could only be either "The Very Tall Turban of Ahmad Baba" or "The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata." Can you remember which one?
-
I have a really hard time believing that Nick would start with two wins.
-
That didn't stop them two weeks ago.
-
Nick.com has changed their schedule, on 6/4 the episodes will continue with season 3(that's what it says), and then jump to 106B on the 6/11 week. Odd.
-
I bet the "106B" week will also change to Season 3, then, just wait a couple days.
-
Damned VCR taped over the weekend even though I programmed it otherwise, so now I've got part of whatever aired this morning.
In the unlikely event that Nick aires all 120 episodes and starts over again then I can catch it when it repeats, but what are the chances of that?
UPDATE: I lucked out, turns out we had a power outage this morning.
-
Get ready for something random...
Wait for it...

Just a bit more...
Nick is showing Legends for the week of the 18th, but starting with episode 2x31 (#71). There's still no word on whether they'll change the episodes for next week or not.

ESPN classic is doing that with Amerian Gladiators- the precursor of Nick's GUTS. So, who knows?
-
Okay, now we're getting really jostled around... Tuesday the 19th's episode is set for 128G, following Monday's episode 231. I wonder if there's any particular reason there's no letter on the Season 2 episode, come to think of it...

I forgot to mention the shifts they're doing. Apparantly, the 7 PM airings are a couple episodes (give or take) ahead of the 2 AM airings.

But we already know the order of the last ten S2 episodes.
Hell, they just aired them on GAS.

Totally weird. Now for Wednesday the 20th, it's set for 119E.

Maybe they're going randomly?

When Nick GAS started airing Legends in episodic order, they started with The Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley, episode 2x31.

I think they'll just change the schedule to all season 3 in order, as it is going now, wait for it to change..

I think they'll change next week's episodes, but not the following week.

...
Well. Nice while it lasted.
EDIT: On second thought, wait for Monday before I would call for the death knell. This could be a production slip up [evidenced by the odd timing of the pull on a Friday instead of starting fresh on a Monday and without finishing the season to boot] or the actual end [Would make sense to make Oddparents into an hour instead of bringing back Danny Phantom for another mediocre run. My honest opinions are that most anything made by Butch Hartman is too formulaic for prolonged viewing]
-
Legends of the Hidden Temple has been replaced by the Fairly OddParents...
....................
-
It should be noted that Today was the only day since Legends re-aired that Oddparents was called for 7:30 correctly. Again, may just be a fluke. If not, get those petitions ready.

Hmm, Nick DID have it on their site in that slot. So, I suppose it was never a fluke that it was on. Uhh, if it is over, which I doubt, that absolutely sucks, but at least this whole ordeal revamped my interest in Legends. I'd watch it on GAS 5 or so times a week out of 10, but it's just awesome to see it on Nick. Oh well, I'll hope for the best.
-
I just looked at the NICK Schedule..
and..
Legends is going on a week-long vacation to Saddlebroken Ranch in New York, as it is still on the schedule for 6/18-6/22. If this changes.. uh.. yeah. 15 day vacation then? Or 22? Or 10 years. Yeah, if this isn't back on soon, Legends will return in May of 2017.

Hopefully it'll only be a one-week hiatus. Otherwise, I'll expect season 4 in 2017, LIVE from Orlando. That would be the best thing EVER.
-
I really don't like the way this is looking. If they had to change the schedule in the middle of the week, that's not a good sign.

It's Friday, though, the end of their weekly schedule. It's hopefully only a one-week thing, but I suppose in the end there's only time to tell the tale.

Ugh. Now, the entire schedule is filled with The Fairly OddParents... Not good.

Oh well, maybe they planned this beforehand. It was great to watch on Nick again, and I hope some of the younger audiences got a good look at what once was so great. Now, I'll have to worship Nick GAS. What a brilliant network it is.
-
Like nicklegends said, Nick has changed their schedule and Legends is gone from the NICK.com schedule through 6/22. Legends has about a 1.5%chance it'll return on the week of 6/25, in my opinion. If not, Legends won't be on in the near future, probaly.

A man can dream, can't he.

There really should be no reason why legends is taken off nick. Maybe it will take a one week break and be back in 2-3 weeks. I mean, Nick's schedules are always changing.

If they want to play the demographic games, Legends will possibly give them the 17-25 group.
And lol, identical posts.
-
Well that blows. I had no school today and was hoping to watch the Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland.
I seriously see no reason why they must use the Legends time block for the Fairly Odd Parents. The show already has 2-3 time blocks. :-/
-
I made a very special tribute those 19 episodes that for a brief shinny moment aired on nickelodeon to a song thats very special to me.

What the?
*Temple Guard sound plays*
Kirk: Oh, temple guard! *Nickelodeon gets taken out of the temple*

One hope left basically, we take over Nickelodeon and force them to show Legends again. Yeah. That won't happen.
Uh, one hope really.. if it's on the schedule for the 6/25 week. Or are they moving its time slot? Never know.
Or, is Legends gone for good.. I think so. I don't have much hope unless a schedule change.
-
I'd say the only hope I have is that the schedule will change and/or legends is just taking a one week break.
-
But why did the pull the plug on a Friday? i don't understand.
-
I don't understand either...but last time nick erased legends from the schedule, it ended up coming right back on. Maybe this is the case here? (Even though it was a Friday when legends got the plug pulled).
-
Well, we're talking Nickelodeon here; I for one am not surprised. They've been pulling all the good shit for years, but this one takes the cake, I mean this is almost worse than when legends originally went off the air. There goes my hope of seeing all 120 episodes.
I suppose there is still a thin ray of hope, as others have already pointed out, this would be the second time we though our Neo Legends regimen would be destroyed. If you remember correctly there was just a scheduling change to begin with. However, I will admit things look very grim. I should have uploaded my video earlier.
And Hell, I spent $10 on 5 6hour tapes, what am I going to use the rest for now?........Full House anyone?

Unless you're talking about the Korean drama with the same name, most Full House seasons are out on DVD, the others coming soon.

Sounds like a big waste of money if you ask me. Anyhow, let's get back on topic.

This is what you get for pulling the plug on LOTHT, Nick:

They sure do deserve a shitty Photoshop.
Please. None of us can "stick it" to Nickelodeon, despite what you think.
-
All right guys, help your admin out. I've heard nothing so I am assuming that Legends is NOT airing this week. If anyone has any reason why I should set my VCR for tomorrow morning other than to capture an episode of Fairly Odd Parents, please tell me now.
-
Other than it might just suddenly change back, like friday, I can't think of any real reasons.
-

That's what I'm worried about.........I suppose it couldn't hurt to set the VCR just in case.

Now Legends is not dead but on candlelight vigil with "Next week" a desperate attempt at stifling the pain of losing a part of one's childhood...again.

On a bitter and somewhat jaded note:
Personally, I think Nick gives Butch Hartman too much credit for these shows. Too formulaic to be anything more than mindless drivel and the satire is attempts flails in the wind for attention by referencing (by now irrelevant) topics in a flede;ing manner. Even the show has to dash in a slew of snot and gross-out jokes just to justify it's being there.
-
Well, it didn't come on. Though if my theory is correct, it will return back tommorow.
-

What is this magical "theory?"
-
My theory is that today they will show the final two season 3 episodes on Nick Gas. So, what I was thinking is that they will do the same thing they did to season 3 to season 2. Have both Nick and Nick Gas show all of the season 2 episodes.
-
Interesting theory. Hopefully it will be true.
-
It wasn't.
10% Chance of Survivial
-
Guys.
EVERY show on GAS is airing in production order. GUTS is in Season 1 (<8 targets on the Crag, unfinished Crag paint, dumb events like bicycling and tennis), FIO is in the Wild Style phase, etc.
Relax.
-
Thank God for production order.
-
Sorry I'm a little late to post in this thread. I just found out GAS is gone after this year. I did not know they showed this on Nick until i found this site. Maybe them having it on nick for a few weeks was just a test to see if it would be good to put on nick after gas is gone.
I hope so anyway as i started capturing the episodes of this(as well as Guts and Nick Arcade) as soon as i heard gas is going away and if the schedule stays the same i should get all but 12, maybe nick will have those on later.

That's an interesting theory. It certainly would explain the odd return and abrupt cancellation of Legends on Nick.
