The Dark Forest / Making a dramatic return this winter...
« on: December 17, 2009, 11:24:37 PM »
...will be me, folks! Granted, I'm not the most enthusiastic Nickelodeon fanatic anymore, sadly, but that ain't stopping me from returning to the forums and posting now that my winter break has officially begun! *Insert cheering from fellow spammers here*

Everyone may now begin their raising their post count by replying!

The Dark Forest / Classes, classes, and more classes...

I'm pissed that they always do fire drills in 2-2, my free period (or "recess"). Cuts away 30 minutes of my trying-to-finish-up-homework-that-I-didn't-do-because-I-was-playing-Guitar-Hero-and-I-couldn't-make-it-up-at-4AM time.

You guys still call your breaks "recess"?

Soundstage 18 / Maybe Nick hasn't given up on game shows yet...
« on: September 07, 2009, 02:49:23 AM »
Hmmm...I'd say MFGG looked better than this. Of course, I'd have to watch the show. And the concept of bringing up audience members to do challenges reminds me of What Would You Do in a way, complete with a slimy punishment. Perhaps they combined What Would You Do, Get the Picture, and some different ideas to get BrainSurge?

QuickTime should play the MP4. Otherwise, get Any Video Converter or Xilosoft (both free) and convert to WMV or AVI.

Soundstage 18 / Favorite Version of Double Dare
« on: September 02, 2009, 04:23:24 PM »
^ DD2K wasn't that bad...

1989 Super Sloppy Double Dare for me as well. It just had the right physical challenges and obstacle courses to make a great version of the show. The Nick GaS bumpers weren't too catchy, though.

"And now it's time for something super messy...Super Sloppy Double Dare."

Anyway, I'd say Fox's Family Double Dare might come in a close second. I really liked their set and obstacle course.

The Heart Room / Overrated Contestants?
« on: September 02, 2009, 04:20:29 PM »
Mitchell is probably the most overrated. I find it funny though, that older websites still say that "The Moccasins of Geronimo" was "an excellent solo run". *Cough Cough* :P

Quote from: ""The Bamboo Forest""
If the theory on Medusa was a late shipment is correct, maybe the path wouldn't have been so easy. The crew probably sets up the path beforehand and maybe they wanted the team to pass through the four-snake Medusa's Lair. But because it never arrived on the first day of filming, they had to use the Heart Room instead...

Just sayin'. I usually don't think the crew gives such easy wins, especially on the first day.

You know, that actually makes sense. And no, I'm not just supporting TBF because he's my brother. There wasn't much other alternatives to a path for the crew to choose either. IMO, they wouldn't have forced the team down the entire central shaft, and the temple guards thing was due to the path Paula chose to enter the temple.

Soundstage 18 / Potential GUTS Interviews?
« on: August 24, 2009, 02:22:43 PM »
This is exactly why I'm hesitant to let too many people work on the interviews. This is what may have happened, and I guess it just did. That's why I didn't want that. Does this answer your question now Bob?

On a side note, ALF PM'd me and TBF, and he STILL hasn't got a response from Drew. Oh well...

NO. :)

@ Toltendo: Have you contacted Blake yet?
@ Bob: This might bite me in the ass later, but...sure, help out if you wish. Since you have MySpace, try searching up some contestants there too.

Another interesting thing I found was a "Blake Gratton" from Florida on Facebook. Surely GUTS wasn't so localized, was it...?
