Yeah, I meant episodes as a whole. And as a whole, Larry got a low 6 average, meaning he will not rank in the Bottom 10. ;) Contestants like John, Tia, Evan, and Claude however, will definitely rank among the worst. Since they managed to get below a 5 average in my rankings. I might have some low 5 averages in the bottom list, but like I said, I still need to compile the list itself. :P

Well, I finished my review for "Amelia Earhart". It was a very lackluster episode and I am not surprised by the low score it received.

THE LUCKY PIG OF AMELIA EARHART

MOAT: 4/10

Compared to other S1 moats, this one was slightly different. For once, the producers did not require the second player to cross by making them walk across a rope. But still, the idea for this moat was very basic. The first player had to cross on a raft by paddling across. The second player then had to pull the raft back to themselves and cross the same way. There is not much to say about this moat except the Orange Iguana second player fell on while trying to jump on the raft. The Purple Parrots finished in second and the Blue Barracudas finished in dead last.

LEGEND: 7/10

Amelia Earhart was the first pilot to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Everyone was following Earhart as she attempted to travel around the whole world. When she was traveling in New Guinea in the Pacific, she had some close calls with some heavy storms. Jojo, Earhart's mechanic, fueled and fixed up her airplane for the last leg of the journey. He also carved up a pot-belly pig for Earhart to keep her safe for her final portion of her flight. Earhart could not accept the Pig though, and handed it back to Jojo. As she flew off into the Pacific, Earhart disappeared and was never heard from or seen again. Some said she was captured by the Japanese, while some said she ran out of gas.

Amelia Earhart is definitely a familiar figure for most people. Her story about how she disappeared has sprung up many conspiracies about her whereabouts. The story of Earhart presented by Legends basically is another spin on the same story. For the most part, the legend was very accurate and presentable. The only downside to this legend was the lame artifact they associated with Earhart. I mean an ugly pig that looks like a piggy bank? They could've done better.

STEPS OF KNOWLEDGE: 5/10

This was a pretty average Steps round. There were a couple of incorrect answers given by the Blue Barracudas, but that didn't really matter since the Silver Snakes and Red Jaguars weren't really trying anything. Annie from the Purple Parrots did good though and she got all three of her questions right. The Blue Barracudas eventually joined the Purple Parrots for the temple games.

TEMPLE GAMES: 4/10

The two teams in the temple games featured the Blue Barracudas and the Purple Parrots. The Blue Barracudas consisted of Scott and Kristen while the Purple Parrots consisted of Brad and Annie. One note about the players in these temple games were how young they were. Kristen, Scott, and Brad were all 11 years old. And Annie was 10 years old herself. I don't think there is any other episode that featured that many young players. Furthermore, I am surprised to see how young Annie was.   I didn't think they allowed 10 year olds on the show. The temple games were pretty boring though. The one highlight of the temple games though at least is the rare use for the "Bamboo Maze" temple game. This temple game was used only one other time in "Henry VIII's Great Seal". This is literally the only reason to watch this temple games round.

Temple Game #1 - Pigs A-Go-Go

In the first temple game, Brad and Scott had to place two Lucky Pigs on each corner on their side of the mat. While doing so, the mat will be slippery, making it hard for them to pull themselves. In the end, the team with the most Lucky Pigs on their corners would be the winner. The temple games were very close, but Scott won in the end by getting all four of his Lucky Pigs onto each corner while Brad with just a few inches off on getting his last Pig up. On a side note, Kirk flat out calls Amelia Earhart stupid in this temple game.

Temple Game #2 - Maneuver Through the Jungle

The second temple game featured a very rare temple game that was used only one other time on Legends. The only other time this temple game was used was in the "Great Seal" episode. In this temple game, Annie and Kristen had to maneuver through a Bamboo Forest with their plane wings. The first player that reached the other side would win. In the end, Annie beat Kristen to put the pendant score 0.5-0.5.

Temple Game #3 -Charting Earhart's Progress

The final temple game had the teams collecting airplanes and placing them on a globe. One player had to grab the airplanes from their bin and pull themselves towards their partners. Their partners then had to grab their planes and place it on the globe on the other side. In the end, the Blue Barracudas won 5-3 and earn the right to enter Olmec's temple with a Pendant score of 1.5-0.5.

TEMPLE RUN: 2.5/10

Kristen was way too slow of a player to be the frontrunner in the temple. She didn't know what to do at all. She spent a long time in the Wall Climb just trying to reach one of the higher doors because she was too fat to climb up properly. When she finally climbs up to the top, she gets confused in nearly every room. Kirk and Scott had to tell her what to do in easy rooms like the Treasure Room and Dungeon. She also had one of the slowest Silver Monkey assemblies too. I guess that is only fitting since Kristen spent a long time in each of her rooms. By the time she was taken out in the Swamp, Scott had no chance of entering the temple at all and only made it up 2-3 steps. The layout for this temple run was pretty hard. There was no shortcut in the Shrine and the one room away guard was pretty unfair. However, this is not why the team lost. Kristen was a lost cause and she is to be blamed 100% for this loss. This temple run is very frustrating because Kristen wasted three minutes acting stupid. What makes this run sort of enjoyable though was Kirk's enthusiasm and Scott supporting of Kristen. Other than that, this temple run is very lackluster and Kristen was a bad player.

FINAL VERDICT: 4.5/10
"Lucky Pig" was a very lackluster episode, and that is all thanks to Kristen. She barely scraped by every round of the episode and Scott did most of the work for the Blue Barracudas. Overall, this might be the weakest Blue Barracuda episode on the show. The only highlights of this episode is the rare Bamboo Forest temple game and the enthusiasm from Kirk and Scott in the temple run. Other than that, I wouldn't really suggest this episode to anyone. This was personally my first episode I watched on Nick GaS. It was amazing of how bad of a player Kristen was in the temple. This is one of those episodes where it would've been better if the Purple Parrots won in the temple games. On a side note, Annie of the Purple Parrots and Scott of the Blue Barracudas were classmates at the time of this episode's recording. Pretty amazing on how both classmates end up playing against each other in the temple games.

By the time she was taken out in the Swamp, Jim had no chance of entering the temple at all and only made it up 2-3 steps.

For the millionth time, it's SCOTT NOT JIM. ;)

And I'm pretty sure Annie turned 11 years old after her episode was done taping. According to that article found long ago, both Scott and Annie were 11 years old and in 6th grade by September 1993, when the article was printed out. Their episode was taped one month earlier, in August 1993. As for this episode, it's pretty lackluster other than the temple game sequence. This team would've had a MUCH better chance at winning if Scott had gone in first, or not get paired up with Kristen. A measly 4.5 average doesn't surprise me one bit. In my player rankings of Kristen, she only got a 4.6 average. I swear, someone like her would not qualify for the show in Seasons 2 and 3.

The only way Kristen would qualify for Season 2 or 3 if the episode was like "Lost Lion Tail" and the team only gets to the temple by luck. Either way, she was definitely a bottom 10 player overall on the show. She contributed nothing at all to her team's progress. I don't believe I have read Scott and Annie's Legends article though? I know it is posted somewhere here. I definitely need to read that though. ;) Either way, I hate the Amelia Earhart episode and glad that I got it out of the way.

And speaking of crappy episodes, I am going to do One-Eye Jack next. I want to see how bad this episode ranks with the other crap like Alhambra, Cricket Cage, Cracked Crown, and Snow Cone. I can't think of anything good about that episode.

The article was posted a long time ago, but the link is broken. If anyone had an extra copy of the article featuring Scott and Annie, I would love to see it. It's not like it's a full interview, it just talks about how they were on the show.

And good luck with One Eyed Jack, that was a pitiful episode. I'll probably do Dolley Madison next. That should be an immense improvement over Lucky Pig and One Eyed Jack.

Too bad that it doesn't work. :( If there is a link to it somewhere, I could run it through the Wayback Machine and I am sure that it has a copy of it. I never read though, and I am sure it would be an interesting read even if it wasn't an actual interview. I really kind of wish that the producers revealed these details on the show. Like how Joel and Jamie were related, how Zac and Levi were brothers, and how Annie and Scott were in the same class. It would've made the show much more interesting. I know the show didn't like to make reference to other episodes, but it would've been pretty cool.

And thanks, doing Bifocal Monocle is going to suck. :P Luckily I remember most of it from T90'sAAT airing from last summer. I have a feeling that it is going to rank in the 2-3 range also. But Dolley Madison is a great choice too. It will be interesting to see how the Steps rank in that episode with Ashlie getting 3 incorrect answers. And how the temple run will rank too with the mistakes made by Matt and Ashlie.

I'm pretty sure I can find the URL somewhere. You can try running it through Internet Archive if you want. Not sure if it will work though. And yeah, I'm sure ranking Dolley Madison will be interesting to rank, especially for the rounds you mentioned.

My turn to write another review. And today's episode will be "The Bonnet of Dolley Madison." :mrorange:

THE BONNET OF DOLLEY MADISON

MOAT: 6/10

For this moat, the players had to swing on a vine to get across, one teammate at a time. This was one of the more simpler moats, which was also used in episodes like "The Missing Eye of David" and "The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe the Ox." This particular round here was average. Not much to note except the Red Jaguars showed some great teamwork at the end of the moat. By pulling their partner's feet to help get across. They ended up being the last team to ring in.

LEGEND: 7/10

The legend in this episode revolved around Dolley Madison, who was being arrested by General Ross during the War of 1812. Dolley tried to play airplane with Ross' food, in an attempt to trick him. Dolley then noticed her servants taking paintings and documents out to the back door. As soon as Dolley stood up, Ross grabbed her, but Dolley gave Ross her bonnet as Dolley went to the White House. Ross then burned the White House down, but he kept Dolley Madison's bonnet. Very interesting legend, as anything pertaining to the War of 1812 and James Madison's presidency is. However, I probably would've given this a higher score if it wasn't for the ridiculous "Playing airplane with Ross' food" tidbit. That was a bit silly to me. But otherwise, I have no complaints about this legend.

STEPS OF KNOWLEDGE: 5/10

This round had good and bad parts. On the positive side, the Purple Parrots were extremely smart during the Steps of Knowledge. As they were down to the final step within only four questions. On the other hand, Ashlie of the Orange Iguanas almost cost her team a trip at the temple games by ringing in wrong three times. They did make a comeback though, as Matt got most of the questions right for his team. And Ashlie got at least one question right, so it's not like she was a total lost cause. Ashlie is probably one of the only contestants I'd agree with getting a low Steps of Knowledge score when it comes to player rankings. But oh well, the Orange Iguanas were the second team to join the Purple Parrots on the final step. I probably would've ranked this round much higher if it wasn't for Ashlie's wrong answers.

TEMPLE GAMES: 8/10

While the temple game results were extremely one sided, it was still a very fun and exciting round. In the first game, Matt and Dwayne had to row a boat and then put a vessel into their boat. Matt basically pwns Dwayne and finished with plenty of time left on the clock. And stupid Kirk couldn't even get the team names right. He called the Orange Iguanas the "Orange Monkeys." Oh Kirk. And he did it during the moat too, only he mistook the Orange Iguanas for the Red Jaguars. In the second game, Ashlie and Jessica had to jump up to the ceiling, and put the portraits of the first four Us Presidents in order of their presidency. Ashlie ends up winning, completing a full pendant for her team, with the Purple Parrots having yet to score. In the third game, the teams had to swing out, collect the silver pieces, and put it in their baskets. The Purple Parrots were very sloppy in this game, and kept losing their silver. The Orange Iguanas struggled at times too, but managed to beat the Purple Parrots in the final game 2-1. This gave Matt and Ashlie of the Orange Iguanas a full pendant, and a trip to the temple with 2 pendants, completely shutting out the Jessica and Dwayne of the Purple Parrots. This marks yet another Orange/Purple loss for the Parrots, but this episode was so much better than the likes of Enormous Feather, Lily Crested Crown, etc.

TEMPLE RUN: 7/10

Both Matt and Ashlie were extremely fast in the temple. However, a few mistakes made by both players cost them a chance at victory. Matt goes in first and enters the Ledges, which was not only a dead end, but the first temple guard was waiting. He makes his way up to the Crypt, across the Pit, and up into the Observatory, where he assembles the stone column is record time. In the King's Storeroom, he is removed from the temple by a second temple guard. Ashlie goes in next and trips up the stairs, and it looks like she's in pain the entire time she's running. She was doing just fine until she reaches the Dark Forest with a minute left, where disaster struck. She spent a huge chunk of time running back and forth utterly confused, even breaks the wall down, which would obviously be a dead end. Eventually, she made it to the Jester's Court with 16 seconds remaining, but couldn't even get out of the room when time ran out. She kept on dangling on the Jester's Court/Laser Light Room ladder. If it wasn't for Ashlie's mind blank in the Dark Forest, or if Matt had started in the Crypt instead of the Ledges, this team would've had a very high chance at winning. Matt and Ashlie were a great team, they just made a few mistakes.

FINAL VERDICT: 6.6/10

Overall, this was an exciting episode. The strongest points were the temple games and the temple run, despite the outcome. The only weak point was the Steps of Knowledge, for all the wrong answers Ashlie gave. This is one of the very few Orange Iguana episodes that I like, and I recommend this episode to anyone.

Dolley Madison is an episode that gets a bad reputation. I remember before I first watched this episode, everyone was describing on how bad Ashlie performed in the temple because she spent a minute in the Dark Forest. I thought this would be an "Enormous Feather" type run with a stupid second runner. But I was wrong. As for the whole episode, it was a great watch. The legend was interesting because it actually related to a U.S. President for once. I forgot about the "playing airplane with food bit". I hate when Legends adds their own spin to their stories, it really kind of ruins it. But still it was a good legend. The Steps of Knowledge featured a couple of interesting occurences. First off, the Purple Parrots were pretty dominant. And then Ashlie got three questions wrong, and the Orange Iguanas still advanced! Oh well, at least the Orange Iguanas make up for it in the temple games.

The temple games were actually pretty fun, even though the Orange Iguanas swept them. It featured some pretty unique temple games that day. I liked Ashlie's temple game the most where they had to jump up and grab the portraits of the President and put them in the right order. It required both knowledge and skill to complete. In the end, the Orange Iguanas shut out the Purple Parrots like usual. But this Orange/Purple was better than most of them. And boy, was Kirk off that day or what when it came to Fogg-ups? He messed the Orange Iguanas team name up twice and he called Ashlie, "Aqila".

The temple run was very exciting, but Matt and Ashlie made too many mistakes. Matt was very fast and had one of the fastest Stone Column assemblies ever. Unfortunately, he took the direct path at the beginning of the run that hurt their chances at a solo win. Ashlie was a fast second runner, but she was a little bit clumsy. But still, she completed most of her rooms with no problem. However, she spent a lot of time in the Dark Forest. She got very confused and didn't know what to do with the Dark Forest key. She even knocked the wall down because she didn't know where to go. By the time she got her act together, there was no chance at victory. But despite the mistakes this team made, they were still good players. I think both of them, especially Ashlie, gets undeserved criticism sometimes. They were solid all around and their fast speed made this run exciting.

Good episode review, and I think we covered every episode from that production day now. ;) :P Good choice for an episode too and people need to realize that "Dolley Madison" is not a bad episode at all. I am going to do the much beloved Bifocal Monocle next. It should be interesting to see how that one ranks.

And just as a future reference, so there's no confusion from reading the OP, these are the episodes I want to do next:

The Helmet of Genghis Khan
Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat
The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici

And yeah, Dolley Madison gets way too much of a bad rap here. I mean, everyone criticizes Ashlie for her choke job in the Dark Forest, yet Tess from Sojourner Truth goes the exact same thing, yet she gets nothing but praise. It makes no sense to me. Besides, Dolley Madison is a MUCH more exciting episode than Sojourner Truth, an utterly boring episode if you ask me. Ashlie and Matt were great players, Tess and Eddie were just plain average. Plus, at least Ashlie reached the artifact, Tess didn't. And I definitely look forward to reading your review on Bifocal Monocle. I feel kind of bad I'm sticking you with all the bad episodes, yet I'm getting exciting ones. I'll save some of the good ones not covered yet for you, I promise. ;)

I actually don't mind reviewing the bad episodes. I mostly review those ones to see how bad of a score those episodes end up with. It's also kind of fun to go back and watch how bad those episodes are. Like the "Snow Cone" legend, the "Golden Cricket Cage" temple run, "Lost Lion Tail" temple game fail, etc. are pretty hilarious to go back and watch. I am also interested to see how "Bifocal Monocle" ranks too. I have a feeling that it will rank close to Alhambra and below Snow Cone/Golden Cricket Cage. I already have the summary for the legend and temple run because those two I can remember.  :P

And I am not worried if you take the exciting episodes either. ;) Believe me, there are plenty of those that are still around. :P Even episodes that seem like they would be boring or bad like Mysterious Manuscript, Henry Hudson, and Judge Roy Bean have some good parts to them. The only ones that will be hard to sit through are those forgettable S1 episodes like Silver Saddle Horn, Golden Chains, Lost Fountain of Youth, and Da Vinci. But then again, I am sure they have some good points to them. As for my next project, I have a lot in mind:

Bifocal Monocle
Golden Jaguar
Golden Stallion
Sultan Suleiman
Queen Boadicea
Electrified Key

I am definitely doing "Bifocal Monocle" next. After that, I am torn between "Electrified Key" and "Atahualpa". I might go with Electrified Key for the two big fails in that episode.

Also, I recall seeing the likes of Jeweled Necklace, Poseidon, and Cleopatra in the OP too. Assuming those are also episodes you'd like to cover. ;) As for me, I'm starting to run out of episodes I can do completely from memory. But I could always rewatch parts of an episode on YouTube to refresh my memory. Oh, and I counted, we're up to 41 episodes reviewed now. I know it doesn't mean much since we STILL have a long way to go. But that's incredible progress for just us reviewing all the episodes. :o Your review on Bifocal Monocle will be the 42nd episode reviewed. And you should totally do Electrified Key after that. Especially for the Steps of Knowledge and the epic fail tiebreaker. "AMBASSADOR! AMBASSADOR! AMBASSADOR!" :mrblue:

Oh yeah, I definitely want to do Snake Bracelet and Montezuma too.  :mrred: Most of the episodes I watch on Youtube when I am recapping the earlier rounds. I can easily do the temple run section of every episode without watching. Sometimes I can do the temple games and legends too depending on how well I remember. I don't mind though re-watching episode as it does bring memories back for me and you find interesting stuff that you never noticed before (Like the Silver Snakes in the moat of Clovis the First) :P There are a few episodes like Polynesian Girl, Queen Boadicea, and Anne Bonny I could do from memory. :P

And now that I think about it, I will definitely do Electrified Key after Bifocal Monocle. I am really interested to see how each round ranks with the fails that happened in each of them. From the tiebreaker fail to the Blue Barracudas fail in the temple. Now that one would be interesting.  :mrblue:

Time for a new episode review, and this time it will be the dreaded "Bifocal Monocle". Brace yourselves for a terrible and crappy ride.

THE BIFOCAL MONOCLE OF ONE-EYED JACK

MOAT: 6.5/10

In the very first Season 3 moat ever, the teams had to cross using an ancient bridge. To do this, they had to grab one pole and then work together to reach their next pole and pull themselves across the moat. Once they crossed all five poles, then they must hit their team gongs. The four teams that make it across first would go onto the Steps of Knowledge. I always thought this moat crossing was very creative. It emphasized teamwork and forced the players to work together. It was a pretty close moat crossing and it did come down to the wire for the most part. Looks can be deceiving though, as the episode goes down hill from here.

LEGEND: 1/10

One of the fiercest and meanest Pirates of them all was Bluebeard, a retired British officer that turned Pirate. He ecame famous along the coast of America for sacking and burning ships. But his most dreadful invention of all was making folks walk the plank. Eventually, the Navy captured Bluebeard and sentenced him to hanging. Legend has it that one night a strange looking woman appeared in the jail. The woman turned out to be... *gasp* a man by the name of One-Eyed Jack, Bluebeard's first mate. After a pretty lame exchange between Blackbeard and One-Eyed Jack, Blackbeard asked to exchange clothes with Jack in order to escape. He promised that he would come back for Jack, but he never did. Eventually, One-Eyed Jack grew so hold that he needed to wear a Bifocal Monocle.

If you read the above narration, you are probably confused on what went on during this legend. Don't worry, I was confused too by this legend. It was just a bunch of nonsense and the whole plot was bad. The "jokes" were not funny and Legends overused the gag about men disguising as woman and fooling other people. Did anyone actually think that Jack was a woman? Or Blackbeard for that matter? And the Bifocal Monocle wasn't introduced until the very end of the legend. The producers must've literally pulled this legend out of their ass because I can't for the like of me explain where this one came from. And the Bifocal Monocle looks pretty atrocious as an artifact. It looks both cartoonish and lame. And why is there an eye drawn in it? This had to be one of the worst stories and artifacts on the whole show.

STEPS OF KNOWLEDGE: 3/10

Just like the legend, the Steps round was pretty bad. All of the questions asked were from silly parts of the legend. There were also quite a few wrong answers in this round, especially from the Green Monkeys boy. This Steps around was pretty annoying also, mostly because the kids kept going blank while giving answers. It also felt like a S1 Steps round because Olmec was rejected some answers that seemed to be right. It was a pretty mediocre round and the questions asked were really lame.

TEMPLE GAMES: 2.5/10

The temple game sequence used in this episode is among the worst on the show. The temple games had nothing really to do with the legend. There was also no competition at all and it was basically the less sucky team going to the temple. The highlight of this temple games round was during the male temple game. Read below to find more about this "special moment". The two featured teams include COlby and Megan of the Red Jaguars and Thomas and Veronica of the Orange Iguanas.

Temple Game #1 - Pirates' Treasure Trove

The first temple game utilized the "underground maze temple game". Basically, Nicole and Veronica had to crawl through a maze and try to find bars of gold. If they found one, then they had to bring it to their team bucket. If they found a silver bar, they had to grab it and replace it with a gold bar once it is found. The player that had the most golden bars in their buckets would be the winner. This was a pretty lousy use of this type of temple game IMO. I liked it better when the players had to find matches of something by memorizing areas of the maze they entered. This version of the temple game was dumbed down. In the end, Nicole won 4-3 for the Orange Iguanas.

Temple Game #2 - Raise the "Jolly Roger"

This game featured one of the worst temple game performances ever on the show. In this temple game, Thomas and Colby had to jump through a series of holes with the use of the trampoline. Once they reached the top level of the "ship", they had to raise their ship's flag and then proceed back down to the start. What makes this temple game so bad? It was Colby's lack of performance. He literally spent his entire time trying to pull himself through the second hole of the ship. He was dangling from the hole trying to pull himself up. In the mean time, Thomas was taking his plain old tike raising the flag and coming back to the starting point. You can't blame him either. By the time Thomas reached the starting point, Colby STILL couldn't pull himself through the hole. What a sad and pathetic performance.

Temple Game #3 - Escape Bluebeard's Brig

The final temple game had the players trying to escape Bluebeard's brig in order to avoid "walking the plant". The two teams were chained to a wall and had to traverse through a mini maze in order to reach the opening at the bottom. Once they reached the opening at the bottom, then one of the players had to pull themselves through the hole. The player that reached the bottom would be the winner. In the end, Veronica and Thomas won which gave them the right to enter Olmec's temple.

TEMPLE RUN: 1/10

You would think that most of the really bad temple runs would come from S1, right? S1 had a lot of really bad temple runs like Alhambra, Lost Hammer, Blackbeard, Golden Cricket Cage, and Golden Ship. This temple run also ranks among the worst temple runs ever on the show. In fact, this temple run might very well be the second worst temple run ever. Veronica and Thomas were a HORRIBLE team in the temple. They made so many mistakes that were unique just to their run. Veronica spent over a minute just to climb out of the Pit of the Pendulum. She just couldn't pull herself out of the Pit at all. She literally spent a 1/3 of her run just in the Pit of the Pendulum. When she finally climbed out of the Pit, Veronica eventually hit a deadend in the Room of the Ancient Warriors. Instead of refollowing her steps though, Veronica ran up into the uncleared King's Storeroom instead of going back to the Chamber. She was thankfully taken out in the Tomb of the Headless Kings. With very little time for himself, Thomas had no real chance at victory though. But that didn't stop him for showing his stupidity. He was the only contestant to pull the books in the Crypt when the objective was only completed. And then he ran into a dead end into the Room of the Ancient Warriors. His time ended in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, aftering forcing us to sit through this abomination for 3 minutes.

There is no excuse for how poor this temple run turned out. I don't care if the Room of the Ancient Warriors dead end was cruel or if this was the first episode of S3. Veronica and Thomas were a bad team who had nothing redeemable about them. This is the second worst temple run in the series and you would be better off to stay away from this.

FINAL VERDICT: 2.8/10
"Bifocal Monocle" was a terrible episode and ranks among one of the worst episodes on the show. With this ranking, the only episode that outranks this one is "Alhambra". So it tells you how bad this episode is. This was a God awful way to start off S3 and every round of this episode was bad. The legend was a joke, the temple games featured a pathetic performance by both teams, and the temple run is among the worst on the show. If there is anything good I have to say about this episode was that the moat crossing was sort of interesting. But the other episodes that day do the moat better anyways. I do not recommend this episode to anyone. It was so bad and is a pretty damn good way to turn off a person from wathcing S3. The one good thing is that there are only 2-3 other REALLY bad episodes from S3. The only reason to watch this episode is for the sake of completion so you can tell people that you managed to sit through a full 24 minutes of "Bifocal Monocle". It was a horrible experience and if someone tells you otherwise then they must have bad judgement. Definitely a bottom 5 episode on the show!
