I am going to give a strike to Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress. It took Candice 30 seconds to get out of the Cave of Sighs, and she could have skipped the Room of the Fallen Columns and avoided the guard in that room. David also went into the Room of the Fallen Columns, which ate up a few extra seconds. However, he was smart to go straight down into the Tomb of Ancient Kings, and his decision to climb up the wall in the Wheel Room allowed him to get out of the temple in time. Overall, this is a great win, but I think that there were a few aspects of this run that could have been better.

#5: "The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain"
#6: "The Lucky Medallion of Atocha"
#7: "Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great"
#8: "The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus"
#9: "John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine"
#10: "The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen"

Gotta agree with PP4L on this one. Strike two for Lawrence.

Favorite Team: Purple Parrots
Favorite Room(s): The Dark Forest, followed by the Lightning Room and the Shrine of the Silver Monkey

Heart vs reason. In this round reason wins, and with nothing to add to PP4L, strike 3 for Lawrence

Strike #3 for Freydis. A very exciting solo win and Tarrah was a very strong player. However, the final two wins were just a hair better.

That just leaves Mussel-Shell Armor and Annie Taylor left.  ;)

We are now down to the only "Center of the Rooms" victories. This is a very hard decision.

Missy was a fun contestant to watch throughout her episode, and came from behind to gain entry to the temple. She had the first victory from the Center of the Rooms, and it was a solo victory to boot. She tried the door leading directly to Medusa's Lair from the Pit, but who can blame her (especially if there was a door malfunction and it opened)? She also took the shortcut leading directly from the Dark Forest to the Shrine. If she had chosen to plow through the wall instead, chances are good that she would have been removed from the temple by a second guard. Missy's excitement at the end of the run "ties a neat little bow" on the episode.

Amanda and Gator were strong throughout their episode, winning 2 pendants in their temple games. They faced a pretty difficult journey to the Chamber of the Sacred Markers, entering eight rooms en route to the Mussel Shell Armor. Amanda moved at a steady pace and was removed in the Dark Forest. Gator followed up on her path very well, found that there wasn't a key in the Dark Forest, went into the Quicksand Bog, then went to the top floor. His encounter with the guard in the Shrine was quite memorable. He escaped from the temple with 10 seconds left on the clock.

I think that Mussel Shell Armor is the stronger of the two runs. The team showed that they were strong throughout their whole episode and entered more rooms (and more difficult rooms) in the temple, but exited the temple only 10 seconds later than Missy. That included having Gator follow up on Amanda's path. I enjoy both runs, but from an analytic standpoint, I must give Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor a strike.

Agreed with PP4L. Strike 2 for Lucky Pillow. I love both runs, but in terms of strength, Mussel-Shell Armor is a stronger win. Amanda was okay, but Gator was outstanding.

Strike 1 for Mussel-shell armor. Tough choice, but Annie Taylor is my favorite episode.

Well, this list was surprising. But I actually agree with it for the most part, especially the top 5. Honestly, all of those wins belong in the top 10 pretty much. I would've had "Annie Taylor" win the whole thing though, but Mussel-Shell Armor is good too.   Here is the final rankings:

#1: "The Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak"
#2: "The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor"
#3: "The Milk Bucket of Freydis"
#4: "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress"
#5: "The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain"

#6: "The Lucky Medallion of Atocha"
#7: "Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great"
#8: "The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus"
#9: "John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine"
#10: "The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen"

Can't believe I forgot to rank this. :o

1. Mussel-Shell Armor of Apanuugpak (perfect!)
2. Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor (one lower, 3rd)
3. Milk Bucket of Freydis (two lower, 5th)
4. Lawrence of Arabia’s Headdress (two higher, 2nd)
5. Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain (one higher, 4th)
6. Lucky Medallion of Atocha (good)
7. Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great (put Bandit Queen here and push everything between it and this win one spot lower)
8. Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus (one lower)
9. John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine (one lower)
10. Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen (one lower thanks to Bandit Queen; I'd probably swap this with Sultan Saladin, which in that case 11th for Saladin is good)
