(Camera moves through a thick jungle taking two wrong turns and finally revealing King Olmec)

Olmec: Legends of the Hidden Temple!

(Title card forms)

Olmec: With your guide, Kirk Fogg!

(Title card shatters)

Olmec: And here he is now!

(Kirk swings on a rope into the new Legends set)

Kirk: Thank you! Thank you very much! Nice to see you! Thank you Olmec! Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple. Which one are we gonna hear about today?

Olmec: The legend of Calamity Jane's extracted bullet.

Kirk: Oh, Calamity Jane's extracted bullet. Well, the legend is set and one of these six teams will have a chance to retrieve the bullet. Will it be:

(Camera shows each team cheering)

The Red Jaguars?

The Blue Barracudas?

The Green Monkeys?

The Orange Iguanas?

The Purple Parrots?

Or the Silver Snakes?

They'll have to pass some pretty tough physical and mental tests, and in the end, only one team will earn the right to enter Olmec's temple. But first, the must cross the moat, and Olmec will tell them how they'll have to do it today.

Olmec: Before each of you is an ancient rope that hangs above the moat. When Kirk gives the signal, one player from each team will hang from the rope with their hands and feet and shinny across to the other side. Once the first player is safely across, their partner will cross the same way. When both players have crossed the moat, run over and hit the gong. (Kirk hits the Silver Snakes' gong) The first four teams to hit their gongs will go on to the next round.

Kirk: OK teams, are you ready?

Teams: YEAH!

Kirk: Are you ready Olmec?

Olmec: Ready when you are Kirk!

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!

We've got our four teams right here! They are: The Red Jaguars, the Green Monkeys, the Orange Iguanas, and the Purple Parrots!

Kirk: As the quest continues, it's now time for Olmec to tell us about Calamity Jane's extracted bullet. Pay attention teams, because your knowledge of the legend will bring you one step closer to Olmec's temple.

Olmec: One of the most famous frontierswoman in America was Martha Jane Cannary Burke, better known as "Calamity Jane". A professional scout known not only for her claim of being an acquaintance of Wild Bill Hickok, but also for having fought Native American Indians. Legend has it that she got her nickname her campaign at Goose Creek, Wyoming. Captain Egan was in charge of the post there.

Egan: You, soldier! What's the situation out there?

Soldier: Sir! We're up to our Adam's Apples in squabbles against those In'jins! Six men've died, an a bunch more're plum injured!

Egan: We can't keep this up! Everyone back to the Post!

Olmec: But they were ambushed on their way back, with Egan suffering a bullet! Jane just happened to hear the gunshot while riding in advance, and went to see the Captain.

Jane: Captain! You all right?

Egan: Martha...go on without me. I'm-a headin' fer the last roundup.

Jane: Yer talkin' nonsense, sir! Don't fade on me-I'll bring ya back!

Olmec: Jane successfully managed to bring Eden back to the Fort, and even took out the bullet that penetrated his flesh. As he was recovering, the Captain said to her:

Egan: (chuckles) I name you Calamity Jane, the heroine of the plains.

Olmec: That bullet found its way to the temple years later. Your task is to find the bullet, and bring it back here.

Kirk: Thank you Olmec, now tell us, where is this bullet?

Olmec: Calamity Jane's extracted bullet can be found in Medusa's Lair.

Kirk: Teams, you're now standing on the Steps of Knowledge. In a minute, Olmec will ask you a question. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on the ancient marking in front of you. If you're right, you'll move down to the next level. But if you're wrong or ran out of time, I'll give the other teams a chance to answer. The first two teams to make it to the bottom level will be one step closer to Olmec's temple. Olmec, we're now ready for your first question.

Olmec: Before she got the nickname “Calamity Jane”, her first name was–?

(Male Red Jaguar rings in)

Kirk: Red Jaguars

Male Red Jaguar: Martha.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Nice job!

(Red Jaguars move down)

Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: Which of these is not part of Jane's full name? Mary, Cannary, or–?

(Female Green Monkey rings in)

Kirk: Green Monkeys

Female Green Monkey: Mary.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Step down Green Monkeys!

(Green Monkeys move down)

Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: Jane had an acquaintance with–?

(Male Orange Iguana rings in)

Kirk: Orange Iguanas

Male Orange Iguana: Wild Bill Hickok.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Step down Orange Iguanas! Now you're on the board!

(Orange Iguanas move down)

(Female Red Jaguar rings in)

Kirk: Red Jaguars

Female Red Jaguar: Goose Creek.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Step on down!

(Red Jaguars move down)

Olmec: Goose Creek was located in which state?

(Male Purple Parrot rings in)

Kirk: Purple Parrots

Male Purple Parrot: Wyoming.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Now you're on the board Purple Parrots! Step down!

Olmec: Who was in charge of the Post at Goose Creek?

(Male Green Monkey rings in)

Kirk: Green Monkeys

Male Green Monkey: Captain Egan.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Nice job! Step down!

(Green Monkeys move down)

Olmec: Who were the soldiers fighting against during that time?

(Male Orange Iguana rings in)

Kirk: Orange Iguanas

Male Orange Iguana: Native American Indians.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: Nice job Orange Iguanas!

(Orange Iguanas move down)

Next question, Olmec.

Olmec: The soldier reported to Egan that how many of their soldiers died? Six, nine, or twelve?

(Male Orange Iguana rings in)

Kirk: Orange Iguanas

Male Orange Iguana: Six.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: We got our first team! It's the Orange Iguanas!

(Orange Iguanas move down and high ten)

Olmec: The decision made by Egan was to…fight to the last man, not shoot until they saw the whites of their eyes, or retreat back to the Post?

(Male Purple Parrot rings in)

Kirk: Purple Parrots

Male Purple Parrot: Retreat back to the Post.

Olmec: That is correct!

Kirk: There you go! Step down Purple Parrots!

(Purple Parrots move down)

Olmec: Upon returning, Egan and his men were…Ambushed, rained on, or–?

(Female Red Jaguar rings in)

Kirk: Red Jaguars

Female Red Jaguar: Ambushed.

Olmec: That is correct!

(Red Jaguars move down, cheer with, and high five/ten each other and the Orange Iguanas)

Kirk: We've got our two teams that are going head to head in the Temple Games! They are: The Red Jaguars! And the Orange Iguanas!

Kirk: Welcome back to Legends, now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, I wanna talk to our team players. On the Red Jaguars we have:

Natasha: Natasha.

Kirk: How old are you Natasha?

Natasha: 11.

Kirk: It says here that you want to be a psychologist.

Natasha: Yeah, I'd like to help with tough situations.

Kirk: Life can be tough. Now who are you?

Devin: Devin.

Kirk: How old are you Devin?

Devin: 12.

Kirk: It says here that you'd like to start a band. Now tell me about that.

Devin: Well I like listening to rock music and I play my guitar when I got nothin' else to do.

Kirk: How long have you been playing your guitar?

Devin: I'd say about a few years.

Kirk: Nice. Let's hear it for the Red Jaguars!

And over here on the Orange Iguanas we have:

Stella: Stella.

Kirk: How old are you Stella?

Stella: 13.

Kirk: It says here that you ride horses. Now tell me about that.

Stella: Well my family owns a farm and we've got horses, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, cats, goats, sheep, and rabbits. I always have fun riding the horses.

Kirk: What kinds of horses do you have?

Stella: Two Belgian horses, six Icelandic horses, and four zebras.

Kirk: You really have zebras on your family's farm?

Stella: Yes. I also ride them.

Kirk: Nice. Now who are you?

Pedro: Pedro. I'm 14 years old.

Kirk: It says here that you fly to the Dominican Republic a lot.

Pedro: Well I was born and have family there. I live in Boston.

Kirk: Well you may visit them after the vacation if you win it in the Temple Run. That is, if you and Stella go to the temple. Let's hear it for the Orange Iguanas!

Why don't you girls get set up for the second temple game over there and guys get set up for the first one here. In the temple games, teams are competing to win Pendants of Life. The winning team will need those pendants to protect them from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the temple. There are three temple games, and Olmec will tell us about the first one.

Olmec: A few soldiers died during the fights against the Indians, and many more with injuries. You are strapped to bungee cords on a mat, and two columns on the corners. One has first-aid kits, while the other is vacant. When Kirk gives the signal, make your way to the column with the first-aid kits, take one, and place it on the other column. Then come back and do it again. The first player to transfer both kits, OR the player furthest along in 60 seconds wins!

Kirk: Let's put 60 seconds on the clock! On your mark, get set, GO!

Kirk: That's it! Red Jaguars got both of theirs just before the Orange Iguana could get his second one. That means that the Red Jaguars get a half a pendant of life! Orange Iguanas can catch up in the next game; it's worth a half pendant. Olmec, tell us about it.

Olmec: Soldiers who needed medical attention had to make do with bandages to cover their wounds. Before you is the entrance of a tunnel, with a long bandage covering up the top. When Kirk gives the signal, make your way through the tunnel, swimming through the debris and rubble inside, and grab the bandage on the other side. Then, come back to the entrance with the bandage all the way out. The first player to finish the task, OR the player furthest along in 60 seconds wins!

Kirk: Let's put 60 seconds on the clock! On your mark, get set, GO!

Stella - Done (0:03 Remaining)

Kirk: That's it! Orange Iguana got hers out first while the Red Jaguar was more than halfway out. That means that the Orange Iguanas get a half a pendant of life! It's now tied up, but either team can win the next game; it's worth a half pendant. Olmec, tell us about it.

Olmec: Bullets and arrows would constantly be shot out from both sides respectively, but some forts were armed with cannons. One player is armed with small cannonballs. When Kirk gives the signal, they must fling the cannonballs at their partner tied to a wall, who must catch them on their bodies. The team with the most cannonballs attached in 60 seconds wins!

Kirk: They're really throwing plastic Velcro balls. Let's put 60 seconds on the clock! On your mark, get set, GO!

Red Jaguars - 8
Orange Iguanas - 12

Kirk: Time's up! Let's see how many each team got. The Red Jaguars got eight while the Orange Iguanas got 12. That means that the Orange Iguanas get a full pendant, giving them 1½; the Red Jaguars only had a half. The Orange Iguanas are going to the temple!

Kirk: Welcome back! The Orange Iguanas have earned the right to enter Olmec's temple. But before they get started, Olmec's gonna give them some information to help them retrieve Calamity Jane's extracted bullet.

Olmec: You could start by running up the stairs to the Crypt! Grab the book from the skeleton and pass into the Pit of Despair. Here, you must choose your next path. You could race up to the King's Storeroom, smash the clay pots and find the key that could take you down into Medusa's Lair. Place the snakes in Medusa's head and pass into the Room of the Ancient Warriors. Place yourself in the correct armor and open the door to the SHRIIIIIIINE of the Silver Monkey. Assemble the statue and you may be headed toward the Clockwork Room. Turn the gears to lift the weight, and you can climb down into the Dungeon where you could smash to the Dark Forest. But beware of the Temple Guards that may inhabit the trees. Find the key in the tree, and you'll enter the Bamboo Forest. If you escape, you could gain entry to the Throne Room. Sit upon the Throne of the Pretender, then race through the pit, CLIMB through the Ledges, race down the stairs and back through the temple gate. The choices are yours and yours alone. You won 1½ pendants in the temple games. Who's going first?

Stella: I am!

Olmec: Very well, Stella. When Kirk gives the signal, you'll race through the gates into the temple and make your way towards the bullet. Hidden inside the temple are Temple Guards assigned to protect three specific rooms. You can trade your pendant for an extra life and go on. BUT if you're caught without a pendant, you will be taken out of the temple, and it'll be Pedro's turn to enter and try his luck. Hidden somewhere in the temple is the other half of your pendant. If you can find it and you're carrying the other half, you will get an extra life. If you can reach the bullet, all of the doors of the temple will instantly unlock and the Temple Guards will vanish. Return through the gates with the bullet in three minutes and you will both be handsomely rewarded and here's how:

Kirk: Let's try to get these two to the White Mountains, so let's get started here. Olmec, lower your gate!

(Olmec moans gutturally while the gate lowers)

Kirk: Get in position. Mouthpieces in. Put three minutes on the clock!

(Timer bangs down)

Kirk: On your mark, get set, GO!

(Temple run music starts and HUD moves in on screen)

Stella heads up into the Crypt and tries the middle skeleton which doesn't work. As she was about to try the left, she was caught by a temple guard (2:53)! She gives up her pendant and the camera-left skeleton opens up the Pit of Despair. She jumps down into the pit and opens up the Throne Room (2:37). She enters and sits on the throne, tries to go up into Medusa's Lair and sees that the upward door is locked. She then sees that the door to the Bamboo Forest is open, and makes her way across into the Dark Forest. She opens the door, runs over to the stone wall, busts through and is caught by another temple guard (2:07)! Pedro follows Stella's path up into the Crypt, jumps down into the Pit of Despair, and all the way to the Dungeon. He climbs up into the Clockwork Room, finds the other half pendant on the wind-up key and turns the key once, opening up the Shrine of the Silver Monkey (1:21). He enters the room and encounters a temple guard (1:17)! He gives up both halves of his pendant and starts assembling the silver monkey. Once the silver monkey was fully assembled (1:00), he headed into the Room of the Ancient Warriors.  He tries the middle armor which doesn't work, and then the camera-left which opens up Medusa's Lair (0:49). He jumps across the Pit of Despair without falling, rushes up into the Crypt and out (0:26)!
