Have you guys heard of the Leelah Alcorn suicide? It's just so tragic to see the bigotry those parents showed to their child just because she's transgendered. And the fact that their intolerance is still showing even after her death is incredibly sad.

Should I feel bad for the parents? Only if for the fact that they lost a child. But as it stands, not only are they referring to her as "he", they have the nerve to say that her suicide is an accident. Also, the fact that they put her through conversion therapy... that alone is child abuse imho. They should be prosecuted. I'm not the only who thinks that they should be prosecuted either. I mean, putting her through conversion therapy, and then taking her out of school and taking away her laptop and all access to social media and isolating her. Those parents should be charged with abuse tbh.

They should. And didn't one of the parents deny the suicide happening on Facebook? If I remembering correctly. Either way, they were too close minded, and they should face repercussions for it. I hate to say it, but I really don't feel sorry for them. :roll:

I definitely remember that episode! One of the many reason why the older SpongeBob episodes were more original and entertaining. I was always curious which which words that Patrick and SpongeBob were using in that episode, and I figured it was the F word mainly. :P This episode reminds me of the Rugrats episode where Angelica learns a new bad word from Carol's TV show. :mrred:

Oh yeah, the Miss Carol episode. What a fantastic influence that children's TV host was. She used all that language in front of the kids too! :lol:

And yeah, I always figured those dolphin chirps were SpongeBob and Patrick saying the word "fuck." I especially liked how the author included all the swear words Mr. Krabs used. :P That author of that fanfic did a MUCH better job interpreting all the curse words than all those YouTube videos trying to make their own "edit." But yeah, I love that episode, easily one of my favorites ever. The older episodes of Spongebob were much better. If there is an old pre movie episode airing on Nickelodeon, you can bet I'll be watching it. :mrpurple:
