The Jesters' Court / Re: The Main Spam Topic 2.0

Here's the way to get him to look at it if he's still alive.  Every person who does care about him is happier just because he's alive, and they all want to share that happiness with him to help him out of his depression.  Feelings of apathy and self-loathing aren't uncommon and he's not alone, but the most productive solution is to get help from people who care about him, rather than kill himself because he falsely believes they actually don't.

Wish I could've been around sooner to really catch this when sooner.  Because honestly, going through counseling and all myself, I'm understanding more about how depression affects the way someone feels and thinks.

Worst part? I can't be physically there to help him. We're on the opposite ends of the world. And he's said I'd be okay with him gone. :cry:

Man, I've totally been there with online friends as well.  Depression just does this sort of thing, blocking out any positives and warping everything someone hears or thinks into another reason to hate themselves.  But in plenty of cases, the world doesn't hate them and they need to be reminded that there are people that care about them and can help them find the strength to keep going.

http://therealicarlyfan.webs.com/

Found another Legends website, even though I don't know how often it's updated. It looks a lot like TAW's site.

Yes, his website looks very close to TAW's episode guide that he used for his fansite. I am not sure who would own that site though, but his personal episode reviews though don't look too bad. Although that Bifocal Monocle and William the Conqueror sounds very familiar...
Yeah, his/her reviews are similar to TAW's episode reviews, and generally copied the format TAW had. Apparently the webmaster has a fanfic series out, that he/she was eventually gonna post on the site. It's not too bad of a site, but it's so similar to TAW's site.
I'm positive that was lothtfan's website, although he hasn't been here in years.  But I do remember him ripping off epilogues from me and TBK, so yeah.

Definitely keeping tabs on the Smogon thread now, hahah.  Still not too happy about Ice getting shafted, but at least some of the move tweaks seem to be good choices... aside from maybe powering down Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Flamethrower and Thunder/Blizzard/Fire Blast, but I suppose it'd make the metagame a little slower-paced compared to the lightning-fast Gen V.

I do think the moves with the dual type quirk are a little too much (especially if some line up for a double weakness on one type, like Electric/Grass on a Water-type), but other than that, not as broken as I was expecting.  Still looking out for the tiers and clauses to be solidified, but it wouldn't surprise me if every single Mega-Evo gets booted straight into Ubers.  I wouldn't have it any other way if I were to join the Gen VI metagame.

I'm probably going to wait a while for the hype to cool down, heheh.  From on the sidelines, I'm still overwhelmed by all the new stuff and not going "ZOMG FUCK YES" right away like most of the internet seems to be... I'm just left wondering if there's other people that feel about the same way, but are too afraid to give an honest critique out of fear of being labeled genwunners.

So far, all I can say is I think the mega-evolutions are bull, it sounds like the main game's going to be way too easy, Ice seems to be getting the short end of the stick as I expected (really, it's just become the rarest type in the game) and Chespin's final evo actually made out pretty well.  I think I'd still be going with Fennekin on my first playthrough if I do get one of the games, but Chespin might be my second choice.  But I'll wait and see if it's actually worth getting once all the hype cools down.

Lately I've been looking for work and trying to set up a webcomic so plenty of time online is still going to those and multiplayer gaming... not MMO's, thankfully, just some FPS's that don't take up as much of the day.  Ideally.  XD;;

Back for the moment, not sure how long I'll be back for but let's just say the Carmen Sandiego fanfic brought in a little more nostalgia. :)

Well, well, I guess I picked a good time to come out of hiding. :lol: I loved reading this too, and imagining the entire show and everything as I read it.  Admittedly the final round seems a bit too easy with only one extra gate but 30 extra seconds, but I definitely liked the entire read and how some other parts like Round 2 were made a bit harder to balance things out.  Good job, looking forward to more!

But yeah, figured I might as well check in since it's been a while again. :P I've basically been trying to pick up the job search while also drawing a lot more and whatnot.  Once I get things going on my old deviantART account again, I'll probably release the link for it.

Nah, I didn't watch either.  I just thought that commercial was kind of amusing.
