One question during the Applewood Amulet SoK asked, "Which of these men was the leader of Mexico when Cortez invaded?" The choices were Atahualpa, Geronimo, and Montezuma. Each of these people had their own legend on the show: two prior to the Applewood Amulet production day (in Season 1) and one a few days later.

Also, one of the answers to one of the questions in the Applewood Amulet SoK was "Pancho Villa". The episode prior to Applewood Amulet, Lucky Medallion, had the legend revolve heavily around Villa. And on the same token, the Lucky Medallion legend and SoK mentioned Emiliano Zapata. ;)

Also, Napoleon is mentioned in quite a few legends too:
- Two-Cornered Hat
- Good-Luck Watch
- Madame Tussaud

There were a lot of episodes that featured different artifact namesakes as their choices during the steps. It happened quite a bit in Season 1 too.

These aren't so much coincidences, but rather interesting tidbits.

- Legends was the only Nick gameshow that differed from the formats of "Team A vs Team B" and "Player A vs Player B vs Player C". (This excludes Figure It Out, which wasn't a competitive show, and Wild And Crazy Kids. I don't count WACK because it did not utilize a continuous format).

- Legends was the only Nick gameshow that actually eliminated teams/players throughout the duration the main game.

- Legends more than any other Nick gameshow required the suspension of disbelief. They all did so a slight degree, but Legends by far used this the most.

- Legends was the only Nick gameshow that had a silver team.

Top 10 episodes:
1. Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor
2. Lion Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta
3. Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
4. Milk Bucket of Freydis
5. Jewel Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great
6. Much Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
7. Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
8. John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Goldmine
9. Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
10. Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible

And Legends is (or has to be) the most popular game show out of all the others. :mrpurple: I mean, how many forums do you know pay tribute to rather obscure Nick game shows?

If it isn't, it's second only to Double Dare. Legends almost seemed to gain an even larger fanbase long after it ceased production. There would be no Legends without DD, and that show definitely blazed a trail. But Legends is, well, LEGENDARY!

Here are similarities about S1L9 and the last day of S3:

- Both production days had Red, Silver, and Green temple runs only.
- Both production days were 3/4 wins. "Anne Bonny" and "Empress Eugenie" were also failed escape runs.
- Both production days were the last temple appearances for each of those teams during this season.
- Both production days began with a Green Monkey run ("Lawrence of Arabia" and "Sforza"), the third episode was a Silver Snake run ("Snake Bracelet" and "Benzibab", and ended with a Red Jaguar run ("Anne Bonny" and "Jewel-Encrusted Egg".)
- Both days featured a temple games sweep by the Green Monkeys ("Lawrence of Arabia" and "Empress Eugenie")
- Both days had artifacts in the same room (Snake Bracelet/Anne Bonny in Torch Room, Sforza and Catherine the Great in Ancient Warriors.)

*Bump*

Here are some interesting coincidences about S1L6:

- In "Golden Chains", Red and Blue didn't make it past the moat. Yet, they were the featured temple game teams in "Buddha". Likewise, Orange and Purple didn't make it past the moat in "Buddha" but made it to the temple games in "Golden Chains". Both of these episodes featured a frontrunner named Jennifer.
- The same pattern works for "Shiva" and "Stone Marker". In "Stone Marker", Orange and Silver didn't make it past the moat while they made it the temple games in "Shiva".
- There were three Red/Blue episodes during this day ("Buddha", "Stone Marker", and "Joan of Arc"). The other two episodes featured Orange/Purple and Orange/Silver where Orange went to the temple games.
- "Golden Chains" through "Shiva" used the exact same temple game sequence. "Stone Marker" and "Joan of Arc" used the exact same temple game sequence. All five episodes used the same first temple game.
- Every player started in the Cave of Sighs during this day.
- Every player at least completed the Room of Harmonic Convergence.
