I just hope for the Browns' sake they don't have to rely on Cody "Doink the Clown" Parkey to help win them the game.

It's truly uncanny how often he hits the uprights. If he just missed wide a bunch, like whatever, he's just a bad kicker. But god damn, the sheer amount of times he hits the uprights on the dot...I can't explain it.

I'm convinced he does it on purpose. XD

Yeah, I definitely feel bad for the Browns and would love to see them make the playoffs. They've been through a lot ever since they lost their team. The last time the Browns went 10-6, they missed the playoffs also (2007 season). It's amazing that an 11-5 team might miss the playoffs this year when most years getting 10 wins will earn you a playoff spot. Fortunately for the Browns, the Titans are losing to Packers right now and they have the tiebreaker over them as well. And the Titans have to play the Texans next week, who are definitely more competent than the Jaguars and Bengals.

And yes, I would love to see the NFC East winner at 6-10.  This past decade alone, we've seen 3 teams with losing records make the playoffs - Seahawks 7-9 (2010), Panthers 7-8-1 (2014), and the potential NFC East winner. The Seahawks and Panthers both won their playoff game. Could the NFC East do the same? :afro:

Tomorrow's a big day for a lot of teams, most notably the Browns. If they make the playoffs this year, I think it's safe to say that this would make 2021 automatically better than 2020. I want them to get in, even if it means them being the #7 seed.

Yeah, wildcard picture in the AFC is crazy. Five 10-win teams not clinched yet is nuts, especially considering the expanded format this season.

And I've got to agree I'd love for the Browns to make it after the suffering they've endured for years, but honestly they have the toughest task to do it. Yes, the Steelers might be worse than their record, but it's still not an easy game to win, which they basically need to.

If they don't beat the Steelers, either the Colts or Titans have to lose, who are playing the Jaguars and Texans...those aren't games you can count on them losing.

The team that misses is probably going to be either the Browns or the Dolphins, cause they have the toughest games tomorrow. And that sucks for the Browns because Dolphins have tiebreaker on them. If they don't win tomorrow, it requires a miracle upset in the South to let them in.

Oh hey, look at that. The Browns pulled it off to beat the Steelers and made the playoffs! Who are they playing?

The Steelers.

Glad to see the Browns make the playoffs as well! It would suck for them to miss it again with a 10-6 record like in 2007. It sucks that their team has suffered a COVID outbreak, but they should be healthy by next week. Playing the Steelers again will be tricky but this is an old school rivalry. The Steelers have a great record against their divisional rivals in the playoffs though. The Browns will need to play 110% at a chance of winning.

The AFC playoffs will be very interesting. All 7 teams are very talented and honestly any of them could go to the Super Bowl. I think the Bills and Chiefs are slightly above the rest, but anything can happen during the playoffs. It sucks Miami missed the playoffs with a 10-6 record, but they were definitely the weakest of the bunch. Especially since they only beat one winning team all season. They are definitely a team to look out for next year though.

The NFC, on the other hand, feels very weak. The NFC East division leader will literally be 7-9 or 6-10, 8-8 Bears will probably go one and done, and the Rams QB might not play in the playoff game next week. The Seahawks have also been pretty sucky as of late and Brees is not 100% healthy since his injury back in November. The Packers seem like the real favorites from this conference. Although I am interested in seeing how Brady and the Bucs perform. I think they can make it far into the playoffs, but beating the Packers a second time will not be easy.

They did it! The Browns actually made the playoffs. Let's fucking go! I say that as a Steelers fan, but that's okay. I don't mind. I just wanted them to make the playoffs and they did.

I won't be cheering for them next week though since we play them again, lol. Now I want my team to win because now it's win or go home.

It's sad that the Dolphins missed the playoffs despite finishing 10-6, but seeing how they got crushed by the Bills, maybe they're not quite ready for this moment. It just sucks that they missed the playoffs while the Bears who finished 8-8 got a wild card in the NFC. Not only that, but the Giants could potentially get in at 6-10. That's embarrassing. Washington getting in at 7-9 or 6-9-1 isn't much better.

Yeah, Dolphins were probably the weakest of the bunch there, but that's not really a slight on them considering they were ahead of  schedule on a deep rebuild. In all likelihood, they'll be right in there next year too. Brian Flores has got to be in the conversation for coach of the year even with them missing out.

Playoffs feel like they're gonna be pretty much a tossup after the Wild Card round. AFC Wild Cards are still gonna be anyone's game, but NFC Wild Cards are a joke. Rams at Seahawks feels the only one that's even close to competitive.

Packers gotta be the favorite in the NFC, but far from a lock. In the AFC, it hurts to admit as a Chiefs fan, but I'm saying Bills are the favorite. Where the Chiefs have been winning ugly in the entire second half, the Bills have been firing on all cylinders. They're getting hot at the right time and as long as they don't suddenly hit a rut, I think they're the team to beat.

We’ve been summoned again

For the first time ever, all of our teams are in the playoffs!

I’ll start with my Packers, because why not. We got the number 1 seed in a very tight race. Wins against the Saints, Titans, and a sweep of the Bears helped big time and Aaron Rodgers is posting insane numbers even for his standards. He will probably receive the MVP for a third time and I’m hoping the Lombardi comes home.  :mryellow:

Saints are probably our biggest threat in the conference. Yes we beat them early on but they got better after that. Hopefully Kamara will recover from COVID in time because they will need him. Drew Brees is getting old and did get hurt at one point. Mormon Tebow Taysom Hill has been a secret weapon a couple years now so not all hope is lost.

Seahawks are letting Russ cook and it is showing. Probably his best year yet and proving he belongs in the top tier of QBs. Defense a far cry from the Legion of Boom era that got them a title, but I see them contending big time.

Ah yeah the NFC Least hit peak shit this year  . It was so bad a team with no name won it. That being said Alex Smith and Ron Rivera have been major feel good stories this year recovering from a severe leg injury and cancer at one point. Unfortunately they were the shiniest of four turds and will not go far.

Brady has turned the Bucs into a legit contender. As the highest wild card they get a de facto bye for drawing Washington. After that good luck with the likes of the others. Bucs did get a win against the Packers but also got swept by the Saints, and also have losses to the Chiefs, Rams, and Bears. A consistent team would be dangerous for the rest because as long as Brady is here, he will probably do what he normally does.  Also Super Bowl Home Team Curse will eventually strike so...

Rams are the one team I can’t figure out. Are they good or bad? Goff got injured in the penultimate game but the Rams did enough to beat out the Cardinals and get in the playoffs. When they lost to the Jets I lost all hope here. They will probably get crushed in Seattle

Bears do not belong. They back doored into the playoffs. I don’t want to talk about them, they are probably the most boring team in this playoffs. They will get destroyed by the Saints.

Onto the AFC, and the Chiefs are still the team to beat. You will have to play the perfect game in order to outsmart them. A lot of their wins lately were close and there were some that the Chiefs should’ve lost but didn’t. Mahomes is picking up where he left off and a victory would cement possible dynasty status for Kansas City. Aka New England 2.0

However I think the biggest threat to them is TSM’s Bills. If I wasn’t bias toward my Packers I would pick the Bills to win it all. No team is hotter, Allen is on fire, and picking up Diggs gave them a major boost. I really want to see the Bills do well for their fans.  If it wasn’t for a fluke Hail Mary, this team would come in on a ten game winning streak. You have been warned.

PP319’s Steelers started off 11-0 then lost 4 of 5 to end the year including crucial losses to the Bills and Browns and a really confusing loss to the Bengals. They need to return to their early season form if they want to win a seventh title.

Titans have been one of the most fun teams to watch. King Henry dominated the entire league by rushing over 2k yards and was over 500 yards over the next closest running back this year. After they had a Cinderella run to the AFC Championship last year this team is no joke. They are for real.

TRJ’s Ravens are also coming in hot. I would not want to face them right now. Lamar Jackson is playing like his MVP self from last season and the team is on a 5 game winning streak. A perfect opportunity awaits to get revenge on Tennessee from last year.

Guys, this is not a drill... THE BROWNS ARE IN THE PLAYOFFS  . I’m so happy for the Dawg Pound after suffering from 18 years of some of the shittiest football I have ever seen including a winless year just three seasons ago. A new coach, and Baker Mayfield having his best season has put the Browns into contention, something I never thought I would say.

Then there are the Colts. Phillip Rivers is trying to go for one last chance to get a title and he will have to do it the hard way and go on the road the entire time. Jonathan Taylor has replicated his performance from Wisconsin and combined with a great defense has put the Colts on the right track.

Who didn’t make it? Dolphins got hosed by a screwed up format that allowed Washington in but not them. Cardinals collapsed big time including two losses to backups to end the year. 49ers suffered from so many injuries. Vikings and Texans regressed, and... We will have a Patriot free Playoffs!

Also Fuck the entire NFC East just because I feel like it.

We basically used week 17 as a bye week, lol. I guess the Steelers knew the Bills would beat the Dolphins to lock up the #2 seed. I'm confident we can beat the Browns with all of our starters out there on the field, but if the Browns play like they did against the Titans and Ravens (the second game and more specifically, the offense; that defense better wake up), then we might be in trouble. If we get past them, then we're looking at a Bills match-up in the second round. I don't think we stand a chance against them. :(

Also, shame on Philly for basically tanking at the end of that game against Washington. The NFL should probably investigate that. It was obvious the Eagles didn't want to win that game to get a better draft position and who knows, maybe they really wanted to screw over the Giants in the process as well.

LOL, part of me wants to think that the NFC East is so bad that is normal Eagles football. But yeah, that was the most obvious tank job next to the 2011 Colts. Although I think Washington was the "best" team in that division anyways. Ron Rivera did a great job this season with that mess of an organization. They are definitely better than a 7-9 team, but the loss of Alex Smith hurt them. It doesn't matter which team won that division anyways since they will get blown out by the Bucs in the first round.  :afro:

Speaking of Ron Rivera, he definitely deserves a mention for Coach of the Year for taking Washington to the playoffs considering the mess of that organization. As I mentioned above, they are a lot better than their 7-9 record indicates. Flores of the Dolphins deserves a mention as well for almost getting the Dolphins to playoffs. But the award definitely should go to Kevin Stefanski of the Cleveland Browns. He took a team that was 0-16 three years ago to an 11-5 record. Honestly, the Browns should've won both the Ravens and Jets game and finished 13-3. They might've been the #2 seed if they didn't lose either of those games. I hope they remain competitive in the coming years because the AFC North will be a lot of fun with the Steelers, Ravens, and Browns in competition. Even the Bengals could join the mix if Burrow continues to improve. ;)

Fixed it for you.

I'm personally not THAT impressed by Stefanksi this season. He's at least somewhere between "not bad" and "good", and yes he'll probably win Coach of the Year on the narrative alone, but I feel like I need to see more before I buy into him.

People forget that the Browns were the most hyped team going into 2019 because of their suddenly very talented core. Baker Mayfield, Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr, Nick Chubb & Kareem Hunt, Myles Garrett. If you take a closer look at that it's...basically the same core going into this season. Everyone just kind of forgot how talented they were because of how badly Freddie Kitchens fucked it up last year.

To me, the Browns' improvement from last year says less about Stefanski being great than it does about how awful Kitchens was. I'm certainly not dogging on Stefanski, but I personally feel like I need to see him sustain that success before I'm fully on board.

The Browns continue to be decimated by covid-19. Now their head coach has the virus. That's on top of quite a few players having it. What a crappy situation for the Browns. They finally make the playoffs and then this happens. Now I don't think they stand a chance against us. Like THK said, I think we need to see more from Stefanski, but let's be real here, he's helped get the Browns to where they are now. Without him, the Browns will most likely lose by double digits, especially considering we're gonna be playing our starters this time around.

Kevin Stefanski definitely deserves consideration for coach of the year. However, I think it'll go to Bills coach Sean McDermott. He's turned Buffalo into a powerhouse. That's the team I think stands the best chance against the Chiefs in the playoffs. Maybe the Ravens can stand up to them too, but the Bills are the biggest threat to the Chiefs in my eyes.

I feel if the Browns situation gets even worse than it already is then they should cancel all 6 games and push them back. In addition they should create a bubble in Florida considering the Super Bowl is there. The AFC teams can settle in Tampa (to avoid Bucs home field advantage) and the NFC teams in Miami and you can use Jacksonville and maybe Orlando for the Wild Card Weekend as well. You could play Colts Bills and Ravens Titans in Tampa, Rams Seahawks and Bears Saints in Miami, Bucs Washington and Browns Steelers in Jacksonville. The Chiefs and Packers would then fly down or if having additional time off along with the week they would have, they would then play the Dolphins and Cardinals respectfully. In that case Browns Steelers and Dolphins Chiefs would play in Orlando while Bucs Washington and Cardinals Packers would play in Jacksonville. The winners of the games in Orlando and Jacksonville would go to Tampa and Miami respectfully. The Super Bowl would still be played in Tampa.

So now that we can post again, what did you guys think of this season's ending?

First of all, I was so happy that the Browns not only finally made the playoffs, but won a playoff game as well. They deserved it. However, I'm still kinda salty that they beat us to not only make the playoffs, but to advance to the next round as well. XD Oh well, they earned it and they probably should've won against the Chiefs, but I'd say their season was a huge success and I have hope that they'll be back in the playoffs next season too.

The Bills were impressive also. They deserved that awesome season. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Finally, Tom Brady won another Super Bowl. I didn't even think the Bucs were all that good, but they somehow pulled it off. At this rate, Brady may never retire. :P
