LOTHT: Revived! The Missing War Hat of General Washington

A more upbeat, hip Legends music plys as the camera pans thruout a jungle and then focuses on Olmec, "Legends of the Hidden Temple: Revived!.....And here is your guide, Kirk Fogg!"
The camera pans to Fogg as he swings in on a 'vine'. "Thank you Olmec, and Thank you (points to camera). Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple: Revis- Revived! (stumbles over words) The rooms in our temple are filled with lost treaures protected by mysterious mayan temple guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each item. What treasure are we going to learn today??

?The Missing Hat of General Washington?, Olmec replies.

"So the legend is set, but first lets see the teams that have a chance of recovering the hat" Kirk says. The camera starts panning thru cheering teams. "The Silver Snakes!....The Purple Parrots!.....The Orange Iguanas!....The Green Monkeys!.....The Blue Barracudas!......and The Red Jaguars! If these teams want to retrieve this piece of history they'll have to cross the moat. And heres how they'll have to do it: When I say go, one member from each team will cross along a rope, then tag the stuntman at the other side. After that, their partner will do the same. When both team members reach the other side they will hit their gong! (hits nearby gong) The first four teams to hit their gong will be going on to the next round. TEAMS ARE YOU READY?!? (indistinct shouting from teams) Olmec are you ready?"

?Ohh Yeahhhh!?

"Good! On your Mark, Get set, Go!" Kirk shouts. Kirk then does some play-by-play of the moat crossing until all four teams hit their gong. "Going on to the Next Round are.......The Blue Barracudas!......The Green Monkeys!.....The Orange Iguanas!.....and The Silver Snakes! The Red Jaguars and Purple Parrots arent going home empty handed and here's what they'll get:"

Announcer: "They'll get a 100 Dollar Gift Card to Wal-Mart!"

The 4 teams are standing on the Steps of Knowledge next to Kirk. "Its now time for Olmec to tell us more about The Missing War Hat of General Washington. Pay attention teams, because your knowledge could get you one step closer to the temple. Go ahead Olmec."

Olmec starts the legend: "General Washington was a Revolutionary War General who......................................................(Olmec continues the story).........................................(Olmec reaches the end) After the End of the Revolutionary War, Washington lost his war hat. But now, his war hat has made its way to the temple!?

"And where can we find the War Hat?" asks Kirk.

"The War Hat can be found in the Room of the 3 Caskets" replies Olmec.

"Okay teams", Kirk starts. "Olmec will ask you a series of questions with three choices as answers. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on the actuator in front of you. Go ahead try it now." the actuator noise plays. "Silver Snakes, you would've been able to answer first. However, if you get it wrong or run out of time, one the other teams would've been able to answer. The First team to make it to the bottom level of the Steps of Knowledge will go on to the next round. Olmec, continue."

Olmec asks the teams questions until two teams are at the bottom.

Kirk says: "Blue Barracudas and Orange Iguanas, you'll be going on to the next round! Green Monkeys and Silver Snakes, you wont be going empty handed, because you'll get a $100 Gift Card to Wal-Mart, and a free copy of my new movie, Distortion!"

After the commercial break, Kirk begins an interview: "Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest, but first let us meet our players. On the Blue Barracudas we have Kevin! How old are you Kevin?"

"I'm 11"

"It says here that you love making your own games, how do you do that?"

"Well I got this thing that helped me make games, and ever since then, I?ve been hooked!"

"Thats cool, and now to your partner, Erica! How old are you Erica?"

"I'm 12."

"One of the younger teams we have here. Anyway it says here that you love to try odd flavors of Ice Cream. What are some of them?"

"I would have to say my favorite is Lobster, but I have also tried Oyster, Tuna, Chicken, and Pork Chop flavored ice cream."

"Ok then, those are some rather distgusting flavors. Lets here it for the Blue Barracudas!....And now over to the Orange Iguanas. We have Rebecca! How old are you Rebecca?"

"You can call me Becca. And i'm 13."

"Ok then Becca, and it says here you love collecting different kinds of snow globes, tell us more about that. "

?I have a snow globe collection that has globes from around the world totaling about 500 snow globes.?
?I have about 5. Now over to your partner Tim. How old are you??
"I'm 15."

"It says here that you are obsessed with football."

"Yea i own over 1000 Cards of football players, and I also play football for my school."

"Lets Hear it for the Orange Iguanas! Ok teams go and get ready while Olmec tells us more about the first temple game for a half pendant."

"General Washington was the leader of the American side. This means that he had to fight off the British or ?Redcoat? Generals. When Kirk gives the signal, You will have to use an 'American' slingshot to knock over the Red generals, but be careful, if you knock over a blue general, you lose a point. The first team to knock over all two British generals wins, or the team thats farthest along after 45 seconds wins!"

"Okay Olmec, teams get ready. Put 45 seconds on the clock. GO!" Erica and Becca both knock over 1 American General with 40 seconds left. Then Erica knocks another American General and a British General over while Becca just knocks over one British General with 28 seconds left. Then, with 6 seconds left, Becca knocks over her last British one. "Thats it! Great job girls, but only the Iguanas get the half pendant of life! Dont worry Blue Team, you can catch up in the next game. Olmec tell us about Temple Game #2..."

"General Washington also knew that it would be hard to avoid British Naval attacks. When Kirk gives the signal you will plug up one of your holes. Kirk will then shout, ?Squirt!? The team that gets squirted with water 5 times is the loser. There is no time limit for this game."

"Thank you Olmec! Kevin and Tim, get ready! Plug up your first hole. Squirt!? Both blocked the right holes. They go again. ?Squirt!? Kevin gets Squirted 1-0. ?Squirt!? Both get Squirted, 2-1. ?Squirt!? Only Kevin gets squirted, 3-1. ?Squirt!? They both get squirted, 4-2. ?Squirt!? Only Tim gets squirted, 4-3. ?Squirt!? Only Tim gets squirted again, 4-4. ?Squirt!? Only Kevin gets squirted, 5-4. "Thats it! Thats it! We have a winner, the Orange Iguanas! Youll get a half pendant, giving you a full pendant, don?t worry barracudas you can catch up in our final game. Its worth a full pendant! Olmec explain the last game!"

"General Washington?s Army was always in need for supplies. When Kirk give the signal, your partner will slingshot the ?supplies? to you for one city at a time. The first team that completes all 5 cities, or the team that?s farthest along after 60 seconds wins!"

"This is for all the marbles. Ready? GO!" The Blue Barracudas get the first 4 with 25 seconds left while the Iguanas have 1. Then, with only 1 second left , the Barracudas get thir 5th one while the Iguanas just finished their 4th. "We have a tie! The Orange Iguanas and Blue Barracudas both have one pendant, its on to the tiebreaker round. Olmec your question please.?
Olmec: ?General Washington?s Presidency started in, 18-?
Blue Barracudas ring their gong. ?Uhh?.1789?
Olmec: ?That is correct.?
Kirk: ?We have our team that?s going to the temple! Blue Barracudas when we come back, will have a chance to receive the Missing War Hat of General Washington!?

Episode 2, Layout I (temple run)

"Welcome back!" Kirk says. "And the Blue Barracudas have proven themselves worthy and now have the right to enter Olmec's temple. But first Olmec will guide you thru the temple."

Olmec: "You could start by running up the stairs into the Room of the 3 Gargoyles! Press the tongue of one of the gargoyles and that could lead you into the Monkey's Pit o' Paradise. Climb the Monkey Bars and that could lead you into The Room of the Fallen Columns or The Observatory. Place the markers on their identically marked pedastool, and that could lead you into the Room of the 3 Caskets. Throw out the skeleton and place yourself on the actuators and that could open the door into the Shriiiine of the Rusted Monkey. Assemble the statue and you may be headed into the pirate's cove. Shout a given pirate chant or take the mine shaft down into the Dunnnnnngeonnnnnnn. Then you could plow thru the wall into the Darrrrrrk Forrrrest. Reach in a tree to find a key, but bewarrrrrre of the temple guards that may inhabit the trees! That key could lead you into the Swamp, which could lead you into the Tomb of the Ancient Kings. Find a key that could open into the Vine Tangle, go down thru the Ledges and back thru the Temple Gates, the choices are yours and yours alone! Gooooood Lucccckkkkk."

Kirk: ?Now remember teams, you only have one pendant, somewhere inside the temple is the other pendant. Also remember that the War Hat is in the Room o the 3 Caskets and once you get it, all the doors will instantly unlock and the temple guards will vanish. Now remember Kevin if your caught by a temple guard, you can trade in your pendant for an extra life and go on, but, if your caught without a pendant it will be Erica?s turn to try her luck. If you can get the War Hat out of the temple, you?ll be handsomely rewarded and here?s how!?

Announcer: ?First, just for going into the temple you?ll both receive a mountain bike! Second, if you can get to the War Hat, you?ll receive a $500 gift card to Wal-Mart. Finally, if you can get the War Hat out of the temple, you?ll be going to France!?

?Ok, Kevin up or down??

?Ok, put 3 minutes on the clock. On your mark, get set, GO!? Kevin races thru the ledges into the Vine Tangle, but gets confused there. He finally gets rid of all 5 vines and head into the Tomb of the Ancient Kings, where he meets a temple guard with 2:38 left. He heads into the swamp, which leads him to another temple guard with 2:17 left. Erica saw the other pendant and heads up to the Room of the 3 gargoyles where she gets it and goes into the Monkey?s Pit of Paradise. That leads here to the final temple guard in the room of the Fallen Columns with 1:30 left. She heads down and follows Kevin?s Path into the Dark Forest and up to the Pirate?s Cove. She shouts ?yo, ho!? and it opens the door to the Shrine with 0:45 left. She assembles the monkey and gets the War Hat with 0:30 left goes up  to the observatory down to the pit where she falls going down the steps leading to the pit. She gets into the pit with 10 Seconds left, jumps down to the Vine Tangle, gets into th ledges with 5 sec. and races out of the temple with an amazing 1 second victory! ?THEY DID IT! THEY DID IT! They get everything! There going to France! Amazing! Thank you and join us next time for another Legend of the Revived Temple! See ya!
