(Pendant Splits)
Kirk: Welcome back to Legends. The Purple Parrots have proven themselves worthy, and now have earned the right to enter Olmec's Temple. But before we get started, Olmec will give us some information on how to retrieve the Silver Shield of King Arthur!
Olmec: You could start by running up into the Room of the Tropicana Birds. Press down the correct beak, and pass into the Jungle Crevice. There, swing across, and climb into the Mouth of the Jaguar. Place the four fangs into the mouth, and you might descend into the Lion's Lair, where you can grab the Silver Shield of King Arthur. Correctly place both heads, and pass into the Vine Drop. There, you might climb down through the wall of plants, or pull the vines to enter the Shriiiiine of the Siiiiilver Monkeeey! Assemble the statue, and you may be headed for the Catfish Cove, where you could race down the Falls into the Secret Spring. You might plow through the stone wall into the Sacred Safari, find the key - but be careful! One of the elephants could be inhabited by the spirit of a temple guard! Next, climb into the Tropical Forest. If you escape, you will gain entry to the Chameleon Chamber. Change the color of the correct chameleon to release the doors. Then, crawl through the Crevice, climb through the Mining Chamber, race down the stairs on back through the temple gates! The choices are yours and yours alone. You won one pendant in the temple games. Who's going first?
Amanda: I am!
Olmec: Very well, Amanda! When Kirk gives the signal, you'll race through the gates into the temple, and make your way towards the Silver Shield! Hidden inside the temple are temple guards assigned to protect three specific rooms. You can trade your pendant for an extra life and go on but if you're caught without a pendant, you'll be taken out of the temple...and it will be Jason's turn to enter and try his luck. If you can reach the Silver Shield, all the doors of the temple will instantly unlock and the temple guards will vanish. Return through the gate with the Silver Shield of King Arthur in three minutes, and you will both be handsomely rewarded - and here's how!

(Clock bangs down)
Kirk: Olmec, lower the gates if you please!
(Olmec moans as the gate lowers, and the lights switch off as he stops humming)
Kirk: Alright, Amanda. On your marks, get set, GO!
(Amanda runs up into the temple and heads upwards to the Room of the Tropicana Birds. She presses the first beak - as a TEMPLE GUARD appears from behind the door!)
(She tosses him a pendant, and jumps into the Jungle Crevice with 2:49 left)
(She climbs up the wall and heads toward the middle door to the Lion's Lair - but it's obviously locked. She then hits the door to the Mouth of the Jaguar, and it slides open with 2:36. She has difficulty climbing, and exits the room with 2:29 remaining)
("She's having a little trouble in the Pit of Despair," says Kirk, forgetting the name of the room. Amanda has grabbed the first fang and placed it in....right when a delayed temple guard emerges to capture Amanda with 2:17 remaining)
(Jason runs up to the Room of the Tropicana Birds and runs right through it. He grabs the rope and swings across, unlike his partner. "Smart move!" comments Kirk from the sidelines, "That's gonna save him some time!")
(He heads up to the Mouth of the Jaguar and grabs the remaining three fangs. Quickly, he places them inside the mouth with 1:42 remaining. None of the doors open, so he rearranges two fangs. Giving up, he backtracks to the Jungle Crevice and dives toward the door to the Mining Chamber)
(Jason makes a rapid turnaround to hit the actuator of the Chameleon Chamber with 1:27 remaining. He heads down the small slide, and hits the first chameleon's actuator. It lights up blue. He then hits more chameleons - red, green, SILVER! The door to the Tropical Forest opens with 1:17 remaining)
(Jason quickly jumps down " - into the swampy murk," comments Kirk from the sidelines. He quickly climbs the first ladder he sees - up the middle one to the Vine Drop and hits the actuator. It dosen't open, so he jumps down and tries another Vine Drop door. None will open, so he's forced to open up the Sacred Safari and he climbs into the room with 0:58 on the clock)
(He reaches into the first elephant - nothing! He gives up once again and immediately punches the stone wall again and again till it collapses with 0:51 remaining. He climbs into the Secret Spring, and heads for the ladder to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey with 0:49. The door opens up, and he enters the room with 0:42)
(The clock reads 0:38 as Jason reaches up for the base of the monkey - but a temple guard emerges to end the run with 0:35 on the clock!)
Kirk: Ohhh! They were so close - they were only two rooms away. They didn't have enough pendants to go on!They gave it a good try, they had to go the hard way - and they still get the Nintendo game package. We gotta go, buh-bye!
(Credits scroll as the camera pans to a random fog machine spraying mist in the Secret Spring)
