And all you need are a few generators from
Random dot Org! I'll go through it round by round.
1. The Moat This one's easy. Just place all of the team names (starting with the Red Jaguars and ending with the Silver Snakes) into the
List Randomizer and randomize it. The first four teams listed move on to the Steps of Knowledge.
Alternately, use the list randomizer with two entries for each team. First four teams to have both of their entries listed move on to the steps.
2. The Steps of KnowledgeSame as the Moat, but without the two teams that were eliminated there. Top two teams advance to the Temple Games.
Also, use the
Random Integer Generator to determine how many questions the two losing teams answered correctly.
Alternately, use the list randomizer with three entries for each team that made it this far. First two teams to have all three of their entries listed move on to the temple games.
3. The Temple GamesThis one's easy, too. For each temple game, use the
Dice Roller (roll two dice) to determine the result. Higher number gets the half/full pendant, and if the numbers are the same, both teams get the half/full pendant. In the event of a tie in pendants, roll again for the tiebreaker.
4. The Temple RunThis one's probably the most complex, if just for the amount of things you need to determine (though some only come into play depending on the amount of pendants the winning team has), although they all use the
Random Integer Generator. I'll simplify it with a list, note that 1 = the first room going counterclockwise from the top rightmost room that can fit the criteria, and so on, going counterclockwise.
Artifact Location: 1 to 9
Guard Locations (3 integers): 1 to 10 (1 to 9 if the Jesters' Court is in play, unless it's the location of the artifact)
Half-Pendant Location: 1 to 12 (Only needed if the team has 1.5 pendants)
Half-Pendant Acquired: 1 to 2 (1 = Yes, 2 = No; Only needed if the team has 1.5 pendants)
Player Speed/Intelligence (2 integers and 2 randomizations): 1 to 10 (left number is speed, right number is intelligence)
Outcome: 1 to 3 if team has 2 pendants, 1 to 4 if team has fewer than 2 pendants
1 = Victory, 2 = Reached Artifact, 3 = Out of time, 4 = Guards (only applicable if the team has fewer than two pendants, and, if they have 1.5 pendants, didn't find the half pendant)
